chapter 1 the beginning

third person.

Alex woke up and groaned softly as she got up and turned her alarm off. she went to shower took her time not to worried about being quick about anything. she took a hour and got out the shower wrapping her hair up in a towel as well as wrapping a towel around her. she then went out and got dressed in a t shirt and a pair of jeans.

after she got dressed and brushed her hair she went out and fixed herself breakfast. which was waffles and bacon.

after eating she went to her Motorcycle deciding to leave her car behind. she sighed softly as she pulled up to the station. she was new but also wasn't sure how to go about having a partner. she had a secret she needed to keep how could she keep it from a partner with her job. where she has visions and speaks to spirits among much more. none the less she headed inside.

once inside she went straight to the bosses office. she saw the door opened but still knocked on the door. the man that looked middle aged looked up at her with his blue eyes. "hi, Im Alex Nicklsion. I'm the new detective that switched stations." she said and walked In. the man nodded. "ah yes. your partner is at a crime scene already sorry he wanted to go along so yeah." he sighed softly. "I'll give you the location his name is Vance taka." he stated and Alex nodded. he wrote the location down and gave it to her as well as her badge and gun.

she headed out after saying goodbye. she went to the location and went to the crime scene. seeing it it was already taped up and the forensic team and cops where there. Alex got off her Motorcycle and looked around. she headed under the tape after showing her badge. she looked around for her partner and sighed softly seeing a man with dirty like blonde hair she went over to him. "hello? are your Vance take?" she asked the man. he looked up at her brown eyes meeting his light brown ones they actually looked almost like gold. "yes. sorry I wasn't there. your Alex Nicklsion right?" he asked and she nodded. he held his hand out which had black gloves on she shook his hand. "ok what we got?" she asked.
