216 Update on my wrist status

I just went to see a Rehabilitation Doctor where I was given a referral to do physical therapy for my wrist. It turns out my sprained turned to be a tendonitis all because I left it untreated. It gotten worse really, so I have to do physical therapy for it to get better and they need to put it on splinter to immobilize it, not to mention the 3 months medication needed to help the recovery and to minimize the pain cause by the swelling of my wrist tendons.

I never thought that my simple sprain can lead to tendonitis. If only I went to the doctors as early as the first week it didn't get better and not waited a whole month to see one.

I'm really sorry that I can't give any of you an update. I can't even clean my own room and wash my clothes. I feel really sad seeing my room so dirty and unkept, it sometimes makes me feel that it is not me. Having my left wrist injured made me realize how important both my hands are. I mean my dominant hand is my right but nonetheless both are equally as important as the others, I'm having difficulties in doing household choirs that requires both of my hands, even simple clasping of my brassiere puts my left wrist to pain that sometimes makes me scream. Moving it became a challenge really, to the point I fear crowded places where people might potentially bump to it.

I hope the medication and therapy for my wrist works. I want to start cleaning my room again and to wash my clothes as frequently as possible.

Guys take it from my experience, don't take simple sprain for granted. I really regret telling myself two months ago that "IT WAS JUST A SPRAIN, IT WILL GO AWAY ON ITS OWN" but I didn't, so here I am needing physical therapy and 3 months medication to get my wrist all better.

I'll start writing once it gets better, I hope you guys are still there when my wrist is all better and can type again. Thank you all so much.
