Chapter 96: Communication - Part 1

I know I said it is Monday but I change my mind and make it to Friday here UTC+8:00/UTC+8:30, probably still Thursday in some countries but anyways I will change it to Friday instead so yeah enjoy the update everyone!!!

By the way as a bonus I will also be posting another chapter Monday here UTC+8:00/UTC+8:30 so that will be still Sunday on other countries so stay tune with that.

He's standing in the midst of the burning facility, he looks at all the dead bodies of children and the dead body of the person who he thought as brother, the only family he had in that place. He glanced for one last time before he finally turned his back from them. Even though they're dead he can still hear the echoes of their scream, scream of agony and despair. As he walk out of that facility the children he took vanished one by one he tried to grad the second kid but he too was fading away till he's gone. He run towards the Author yeah that's right the last and eldest kid who he got told him his name was Author. He hugged the child in hopes that it won't make him disappear to but nothing is working as he saw that the hand of the child is slowly fading like a water vapor in the air he felt fear. Fear to be completely alone with no one, no one beside him. When Author the last child was gone he drop to the ground and begin to cry. "Don't cry, I'm here with you. You won't be alone now." He looked to where the voice came from but all he could see is darkness. He tried to look around but nothing, he sees nothing. When all hope was gone he felt a strong warm arms wrapping him around. "I'm here now, I won't let you be alone anymore." The man's voice is familiar but he can't see his face. He doesn't feel disgusted nor felt alarmed, when he's around him he's genuinely happy. It was perfect but a gun shot fired out of nowhere brought the man down. The man who has been giving him such happiness is laying down on the pool of his own blood. He hugged his lifeless body as he weep. He cried and cried it was probably the most painful thing he had ever encountered in his life.

"You can never escape from me, you will never be someone else's. Your mate is gone that means you can now take another mate." He unconsciously put his hand at the back of his nape and felt the mark that he couldn't remember how it got there slowly getting shallow as if it's already starting to fade. "No." He whispered and one by one the feeling of couscous and panic creeps in to his system. He got up and screamed no when he noticed even the body of that unknown man is now slowly fading away leaving only him and the man who shoot the man with him. The man who shot them was gone he tried to look around but can't see him.

"Are you looking for me?" The voice came from behind and then after that he felt the sharp teeth of the man sinking down to his nape marking him. He shouted so hard and loud.

"NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." Axel got up panting, covered in sweat. He look around and saw that he was in Jules condo unit. He tried to feel his nape and the bite mark is still there then he looked at what he was wearing, he's already wearing a clean shirt with his underwear on. He unconsciously smile thinking that his husband clean him up and dress him clean last night after doing it. He was in heat for the past few days, Jules even took leave of absences to take care of his heat. His heat is getting intense each time they come, which is a good sign according to his doctor his body is trying so hard to develop his reproductive organs by producing high concentrated pheromones, that's why his pheromones are getting thicker his body is in a hurry to make his reproductive mature enough to produce and carry life. The doctor also commend Jules for not loosing his mind getting expose in such high concentrated pheromones. A usual Alpha can get drunk and might do some outrageous things to their Omega resulting for some cases of Omega's finding death due to to much exhaustion of having sex. He secretly smile remembering that. Jules is kind and gentle when it comes to him and speaking off his husband who's not on their bed he heard a couple of noises that sounds like someone running towards him then seconds later the source of such sounds appear before him kicking the door of their room open.

"What happened? Are you alright?" Jules is now looking around as if he's scanning the place for any signs of intruder with a gun on his hand.

Axel laugh with his husband's expression. "No sweety, don't worry there is no intruder." He can see the relief in his eyes as he drop sitting on the bed.

"I thought someone get in and hurt you." Axel cupped Jules face and planted him a kiss.

"I can take care of myself, I won't let anyone hurt me don't think too much." Axel tried to assure Jules, he can still see the worry in his eyes.

"I know but still I want to protect you. I can't lose you Axel you know that. I won't be able to make it my love." Axel gave him another kiss.

"Why are you being so romantic so early in the morning huh?" Axel tried to change the topic. He too doesn't want to lose Jules. If the man who died in his dream was Jules he wouldn't be able to handle the grief.

"Cause my wife keeps on kissing me so early in the morning with his sexy outfit and it's turning me on right now." Jules teases Axel.

After the two stop playing both of them came down stairs to have the breakfast that Jules prepared. Axel is happy now, he had never been this happy his whole life and he won't let go of this happiness ever. He promise not to let any harm come to Jules the source of his happiness. He will do everything to keep this happiness safe even if it cause him his life.

What happened in the morning is still stock in Aiden's mind. Lance was kind of angry when he learned that he already knew the thing about Terrence.

FLASH BACK....

"You should have told me, Love I thought we swore an oath when we got married that we will be truthful and faithful with each other?" Aiden sigh, he was about to leave the house to go to work but Lance grabbed him and took him back to their room.

"Love, You're the first one who hid things from me. I simply thought that you didn't want me to know so I didn't tell you what I knew and just to set the records straight I didn't lie to you so that means I never broke my promise to you, how could I that's what we promise." Aiden was very calm explaining himself like he always is.

"You're pouting." Aiden touched Lance face. "I'm sorry, I'm in the wrong, don't pout. I hate seeing you sad." Aiden knew he has to be the first one to cave. He doesn't want to step on his husband's Alpha pride. He knew that lately after the incident with Lee even though it's faint Lance is feeling embarrassed on how he couldn't even fight back to those guys and yet Aiden could take care of them without problems.

Aiden was surprised when Lance hugged him. "I'm the one who should be sorry. I didn't tell you for so long."

Aiden put his arms around Lance and jumped and hugged Lance's waist with his legs. "Hey I'm glad that you know that."

Lance laugh. "And once again you got me on top of your hands."

Aiden kissed Lance in response. "I'm in heat, love me Lance."

"I didn't even noticed." Lance felt guilty for not even noticing that his wife is already in his heat. Before Aiden became Liam, he used to know of it in advance but now he can't even tell the difference. They have been married for 6 months and yet he can't even tell when the Omega is in heat cause Aiden never tells or ask for his help in controlling his heat but on the contrary Aiden can easily tell when his rut coming even if he still hasn't been showing signs of his rut.

"I have been taking care of it, no need to worry about it too much." Aiden answered which made Lance feels useless.

"But I'm your Alpha, I should be taking care of it not some suppressors that you are taking. I thought you said that they are no longer working?"

"Love, Lance my suppressor didn't work because I have been in absence of my Alpha's pheromones and contact for too long that my suppressor's can no longer contain my own heat but since you are already here and that we are occasionally making love my suppressor's working just fine." Aiden is trying to make Lance at ease but it seems it's not working at the moment.

"Can you just stop taking them? Can't you just rely to me like before? Axel no longer takes suppressor, he just take his leave and rest with Jules." Lance took Aiden's hand and place a kiss on it.

"Love we don't know his circumstances, we don't know why he's not taking them but we are different. I can't take a leave of absence and stay at home. I have work to do, I have responsibilities."

"Axel is a spy and he too has lots of things on his plate but still...."

"Axel and I are both different, we both do have a say on what we both prepares in handling our own heat. He wanted to rely on his husband's and I want to rely on my own. Lance please...." Aiden got down. "I'll sleep with Lander."

"What about your heat, your pheromones is getting stronger." Lance said.

"I'll handle it I'm not in the mood, I can take suppressant to deal with it"

He decided to walk away in their conversation.

END OF FLASHBACK...

A loud noise got Aiden's attention when a file of clipped papers hit his table. Aiden looked at the person who put them there, he sigh and leaned his back to his chair. "So what are these?" Aiden asked.

"List of the people's name they are smuggling. They are changing the names of each and everyone of them to make sure that their family's wouldn't be able to trace them." Aiden went into the papers and skimmed right in to it.

"Damn it they are really so thorough about this that it leaves no holes for mistakes those bastards.".

"Yeah so this is what Terrence has been talking about, he said that when he checked Rion's identity they were all legal papers like he was born and raised here but in reality he's not. I bet they also change his name and identity. By the way the list it doesn't end there it's just the scratch." Axel informed.

"This information will come in handy if we will have someone from them who can testify for us once the case starts. You are aware that we can't use any evidence obtained illegally right? So even if we do have some. list it would be really hard to make the court accept it as evidence of the crime." Aiden said. "We need to discuss this to Terrence."

Aiden took out his phone and dialed the number of the man who's right for the job. "Are you free? Axel just got a good news but we need your expertise." Aiden said.

(I'll be there in 15." The man on the other line said.

"So did you call him, I mean him?" Axel asked

"Yes him, he said he'll be here in 15." Aiden said. "So how are you? Do you still need to work there? You already got access to their mainframe."

"I have too, until we officially expose their doing I'll work there as undercover, specially now that our guy Collins is looking for his brother that Dexter got under his basement. We need to keep an eye for him." Axel said.

"Just be careful then, if you got caught just send us a signal and we will be there to break you out."

"Thanks that would be much appreciated but I have never got caught not once so I'm good."

"You will get out of there as soon as we expose their crimes." Aiden remind him again.

"Don't worry I already got a clean escape that they wouldn't even suspect my exit." Axel said confidently.

Suddenly the argument from last night occured to him. "Axel how are you handling your heat? Why did you choose not to use suppressants"

Axel seated on the coach. "Hhhhmmm I don't know if you know about this but before meeting you and Jules I don't have the ability to get pregnant. People like me who are seen as a tool don't get the luxury to have a family of our own. We are trained to be efficient in getting the job done which means we have to use everything even out own body and getting pregnant is not an option."

"You mean to say?"

"The organization did something to our body, they cut the tube connecting to my ovaries and uterus. To make sure that the pregnancy wouldn't be possible they also made sure that our reproductive system won't mature. They stopped it from developing at an early stage all so they can be assured that no accidental pregnancy will ever to happen to any of their tools. We don't get to have our monthly heat and we don't get to get pregnant either, very convenient right?"

Aiden felt sad after hearing it from Axel. "Don't be sorry, that was a long time ago. Your in law sure is a persistent one. She gave us a lot of options to push through with the treatment. At least I'm holding on to a strand of hope. the treatment shows a lot of progress. I'm getting my heat now and I must say my husband is really enjoying it but to be honest I'm enjoying it even more."

Aiden raised his right eye brow after hearing Axel said that. "You're not joking are you? You're enjoying your heat?"

"Why shouldn't I enjoy it?" Axel asked with so much confusion.

"To Omegas heat is a bother some monthly thing. It's the only time of the month where you don't have full control of yourself which limits you to the things that you can do."

"Well yeah I do get that part. The first time I had it I felt incredibly weak which is not like me at all but what I look forward is the time me and my husband spent during my heat. Jules leaves for work whenever it comes and I too cause obviously I wouldn't be able to get any work done with that kind of body craving love for his Alpha. Still nothing beats the feeling that my husband shows me in those times when I feel the weakest, well the pleasure only comes in bonus I didn't know that Omega's body can be three times more sensitive during those times."

"Of course cause those times are the times we are highly fertile and has the high chance of getting pregnant." Aiden explained.

"It seems to me you don't enjoy your heat that much. So what are you and Lance have been up to lately?"

"Nope, I never enjoyed my heat..." Aiden became silent all of a sudden when he remembers the time when he was still Liam, whenever his heat is nearing he always craves for Lance's scent to the point that Lance chooses to just work from their home so that he could be with him. "Maybe there were times when I was still Liam but that was a very long time ago that I already forgot it, that my body no longer looks for what it used to craved before..... You have to understand, I thought me and Lance were finally over for good so I trained my body and mind so hard to not look for it's Alpha for me to carry on like nothing is happening even though I'm in the middle of my heat, for five years that's how I have lived and I don't want to change it Axel. I'm afraid that if I go back I will be the same weak Omega that I was."

Axel looked at his watch. "Aiden I don't want to meddle in you decision and I don't want to give any advice to you either cause I'm new to all of these, I'm no expert but relying on your husband your own Alpha won't hurt. Let him do his job as your Alpha, letting him won't make you weak Aiden but not letting him will make him sad. He might even question himself, remember he's an Alpha but between the two of you you're the one who's protecting him it might have hurt his ego a lot but Lance loves you enough that it out weights his ego as an Alpha so Aiden don't shoulder everything let him do his role to you as your husband."

Axel cross his legs and looked at his watch again. "You both need to talk, I think that's the best thing you both need to do. Is Terrence still far? I really don't want to take my suppressant but my heat is still not over and I'm still here I should be on my way home or Jules will worry I just begged him that I'll only be out for a while before my heat comes back again."

Aiden just smile after seeing the worried face of Axel, the guy is usually calm but now he can see how nervous he is. "Don't worry you're mark so you won't really going to stir up anything here. I'll just drop you to your home later. Don't take any suppressant I know you badly want it."

Axel smiled at Aiden "Thank you Ai."

"So you two already started the party without me?" both Aiden and Axle looked at the entrance and there found Terrence who's now walking towards them.

"Nope it's just and Omega talk that Alpha's wouldn't be able to understand." Aiden tease.

"Well the only time Alphas couldn't understand is when Omegas are being ambiguous about their feelings. So who amongst you two are like that." Axel quickly point his finger to Aiden.

"Well poor Lance, you should cut him some slacks Aiden. I don't want to meddle with you both but try a little to rely on him." Terrence said.

"What?! Wa-why?" Aiden was speechless after hearing Terrence said the same thing as Axel.

"Know what I told him the same thing earlier." Axel said.

"Is that really as problem? To depend on him, is that really matter?" Aiden asked.

"You both are married so it means you need to rely to each other. Don't leave the other person alone to shoulder everything or else he will start questioning his capabilities. Believe me Aiden, I have been there and it only ended up hurting Chester. We both talked about it and now I am more than happy to receive my beautiful wife's help."

Aiden got up as took out his phone. "Excuse me, I'm just going to make a call." He walked far from the two."

"So how are you and my cousin?" Terrence asked.

"We are doing great!" Axel happily answered.

"Don't ever leave him or that kid might lose his mind. I have never seen him this in love."

"Don't worry I won't ever leave him. He's my life. You're cousin is in the good hands."

"I know, but do take care of yourself specially with the job you're in."

"I know that. Don't worry I will, I don't really want to worry Jules that much."

"I'm sorry I just have to call Lance." The two didn't ask Aiden they knew that the Omega had thought of things. It's not bad to be independent but sometimes you also have to rely on to your partner cause marriage and relationship needs to person in it to make it work.

"So back to our main topic, Terrence see that papers on that table read it and tell me what do you think?" Terrence scanned the whole documents.

"How did you got this list?" Terrence asked in awe.

"Axel here got it for us." Aiden simply explained.

"It's just a copy but how are we be able to take this to court in a manner that it won't be questioned as an evidence obtained through illegal means?" Axel asked.

"Yeah this could be a good proof to not dragged on the case but presenting it as a valid evidence without doubting the manner of how we obtained it in our hands will be hard." Terrence said. "Any evidence that was obtained illegally are not being accepted in the court." Terrence added.

"We have gathered proofs and evidences of their illegal deeds but the real question is how we will be able to use it." Aiden asked.

"That can only be possible if we can manage to get someone from the inside to side with us." Terrence suggested.

"That will be too risky, Terrence you know that if we trust the wrong people then all of these will be over." Aiden said.

"Actually that can be possible, for every evidence we have to certain field if we only need people to testify holding that evidence then maybe I could find them inside the company." Axel suggested.

"That will be too risky for you, your cover might blow." Terrence immidiately disagree.

"No, I'll do a thorough background check to each to make sure before I open the idea to them. Don't worry too much, I can always disguise myself to someone else it's my forte I'm good at it." Axel said with confidence.

"Are you sure?" Aiden asked.

"I'm pretty sure, besides I really wanted to get over this and done. So the early it is we deal with it then the better." Axel said. "By the way we only have less than two months before our plan so we better wrap things up as early as possible." Axel said.

"Is that the reason why you are still working even though you're heat is not fully done yet?" All three looked to where the voice is. "Aren't you noticing that your pheromones is already thick as it is?"

Terrence just whistle hearing his beloved cousin getting work up over his wife, good thing that Axel is already mark which puts him in a safe place.

"Sweety, I know I said I'll be quick but you see..." Jules sharp gaze made Axel zip his mouth. "Sorry I'm wrong." Axel said like a sorry five year old boy.

Jules only just sigh as he walked to where Axel is sitting. He gesture for the Omega to stand up that Axel gladly do, then Jules sat on the coach and he pulled back Axel to have him sitting on his thigh. "What are you guys looking at? Is this the first time you've seen couple in this sitting position?" Both Aiden and Terrence shook their heads no.

"Then go on with what you're discussing so that we can go home after." Terrence suddenly miss his wife that he too also wanted to hurry home and Aiden on the other hand felt envious somehow, only if he didn't let his pride get in the way and let himself be a baby in front of Lance then he could be just like that with Lance in the middle of his heat.

"We need to get a trusted police officials to do the job, they will be the ones who will capture these thugs on act. We need to find someone who can't be bought." Aiden said.

"I know someone, I already had her transfered here, she's someone we can trust. Even before the plan to bring this fuckers down I already asked a request to have her moved here to give heads up about Terrence, I thought this fuckers killing spree will cause problem I wanted to make sure to have someone we can count on though I still haven't talked to her after her transfer."

"H-how? You know someone and you had someone transfered here?" Aiden asked.

"Didn't you know that he used to be a Police official that holds a high position?" Terrence informed.

"Well Harrises are family of lawyers but I choose not to be one so I went to serve the country but the Organization needs a lot of help when T decided to quit so I filled an indefinite leave from work." Jules happily said.

"Why didn't I know that?" Axel asked.

"Oooooppsss, sweety you never asked, I'm so sorry."

"Just how long is that indefinitely leave is?" Axel asked.

"You don't even want to ask, he's on leave ever since I quit the organization." Terrence said.

"The officials doesn't want me to resign so I don't, beside I'm still doing my job even though I'm on leave."

"Is that all the paperwork that you sometimes brings home with you? I thought they were about your missions."

"Sweety your husband is a busy man." Jules doesn't have any excuse for that. Ok I have to bring them with me, with all the work I have, I have no time to go to the office to get them done. besides I can manage..."

"Not to mention his car business....." Terrence suddenly said in the middle of Jules explaining to his wife.

"Yes not to mentioned my business wait what?" Jules stopped after saying what Terrence just said.

"You have a car business?" Axel raised his brow.

"Sweety you see being a public servant doesn't earn me that much and working for the organization doesn't also ear me that much so I have to have another source of income to make sure I'll be able to live comfortably without me depending to my parents wealth. Sweety we are married now everything I own you own too." Jules swear just now that he can already see smokes coming from his wife's nose.
