The boys are having fun seeing each other struggling in humming a song using animals sounds but in the midst of their loud laughter Lance can't feel at ease for some unknown reason. It was like those time when something happened to Liam. He tried to go in to calm himself down but the usual silence welcomed him. quiet as he can be and when he entered the kitchen there he saw some unconscious men lying on the floor with their own blood. Right then and there Lance knew that they could be in danger. The first thing he thought is to call for help but unfortunately his phone is in the patio where the boys are playing. So with much discreet moves Lance tried to go as quiet as he can but what he didn't realize it was already too late when he heard an outright sounds of guns firing. Lance run to where his friends at and there he saw men with high caliber of fire arms held his friends, Nigel grab the gun of one of the men and aim to fire at the ones who's holding Adrian. Adrian manage to escape but the man didn't let him get away by firing a bullet to his leg to leave him immobile. Derrek who's tried to help Adrian was also shot bringing two men down. When Lance saw that one of the men was aiming at Zeejay he run towards the man and tug him down. The tension heated up and the next thing he knew that the nuzzle of the gun is already aiming at his head. They are basically trying to make Lee come with them with the use of him. Lee came with the men. Since Nigel was a threat he was also taken.

End of Flashbacks...

Dexter sigh after hearing the whole story. "I know you don't like me that much and I'm not asking you to like me or be friends with me. I was only asking for you to look after them. I thought you would be able to help in securing them but I was wrong."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen." Nigel said apologetically. Somehow seeing Dexter's sadden face that is far from his calm, collected and smiling face is making Nigel sad. He doesn't know why he feels like that.

"Your sorry won't bring back what had happened. I'll arrange a place for you to live since I promise Terrence that I'll help. You can use our unit for the mean time but I don't want to see you in our house." Nigel didn't expect that Dexter could be this cold, in the past few days he has been living in that house he got used to the fact that Dexter is warm to everyone but seeing him this cold is something new to him.

"I'm really sorry." Nigel said. "Please don't throw me out."

"Why shouldn't I?" Dexter said with his cold tone. "I'm fulfilling my promise to Terrence by letting you live in one of our units. If you don't want to then get out." Dexter said before he left Nigel all by himself.

Dexter felt a headache coming and that nauseous feeling that accompanies it. He went to Lee's room, he was already moved to a private room and there Dexter hold Lee's hand as he place light kisses to his hand. "You never fail in making me worried all the time didn't you know that?" Dexter laugh after saying that. "If I had know that you'll only going to give me a headache I wouldn't have agreed in dating you. Cause right now I have a feeling that you'll be the death of me." Dexter kissed Lee's hand and rub it on his wet cheek. "What if something bad really happened, what will happen to me and Lexter? Did you ever think about that?" Dexter whispered he was still in the middle of talking to Lee when he heard a soft knock. Dexter turned around to see the person who just knock.

"Can I come in?" Terrence said.

"Where were you?" Dexter asked.

"I didn't know, It was already late when I found out. I'm sorry." Terrence said.

"It already happened so what's the point of saying sorry now? If that man of yours didn't put all those silly ideas in my husband's head then none of this thing would have happened!" Dexter whispered yell.

It was the first time that Terrence ever saw Dexter so messed up. He looks just like any other Alphas who lost their Omegas and in that case he can clearly see his old mess up self when Chester suddenly vanished. At that time Terrence realized that Dexter was like any other Alpha who's in loved. He thought that the man wouldn't feel the depression and desperation they ever felt cause Lee spoils him too much and Lee is treating him like an Omega.

"How is he?" Terrence asked, he knew more or less of Dexter's character now and if the man said no then it means no so instead of apologizing again he asked Lee's condition.

"He's fine now, if your wife din throw a knife at the man who's aiming my husband's head then he probably dead by now." Terrence felt like he was poured down a bucket of ice when Dexter mentioned that Chester was there at the scene. Terrence walk fast towards Dexter and grab the man on both of his shoulders.

"What did you just said?" Terrence asked.

Dexter looked at Terrence in the eye without waivering nor fear. " I said if your wife didn't throw a knife at the man who's aiming my husband's head then he probably dead by now."

Dexter purposely smirk at the end of his sentence like he was telling him *Now you know how I feel, all the nervousness and worry that I'm feeling.*

"Where is Chester right now? Is he alright?" Terrence immidiately asked.

"Ow he's alright, he was thought well but if I were you I wouldn't be worrying about him, right now you should worry about yourself first. Your wife already know that you lied to him." Dexter said. "Now get out, I want to be alone with Lee." Dexter turned around to face Lee's bed.

Terrence was dumbfounded, and just like his two feet have their own mind it suddenly run to the direction where his car is and just like that he found himself standing in front of his own house. Terrence took a deep breath and came inside the house. The whole house is dark it feels like there was no one inside. He was about to go upstairs to check his boys before going to their room when a light suddenly opened and there Chester sitting prettily.

"Kitten." Terrence said nervously

"Sit Terrence, we need to talk." Chester said.

Terrence heard Chester called him by his whole name which indicates that the Omega is very serious about this talk, so like an obedient puppy Terrence seated across Chester.

"Kitten...."

"Don't Kitten me, where did you go?" Chester's tone was sharp and far from his usual sweet and mild tone.

"And don't even tried to deceived me with lies, you wouldn't like the consequences." Terrence opened his mouth to answer but even before he answered Chester already gave him a warming

"Ok, Ok so let me know what do you know, so I'll know where to start." Terrence said, he's trying to outsmart Chester, he would only tell Chester what he needs to know base on the things he already know.

"I want to know everything Terrence cause you have been keeping me in the dark. You told me you will go with them and yet you were not with them. You told me the case you're handling is not dangerous and yet it is big, so big that it already almost cost your friends lives!" Chester can't help but shout.

"Kitten don't shout the kids and maids might hear you." Terrence said.

"Ow come on Terrence, we all knew that this house is so big that they wouldn't be able to hear it in their rooms also, I have sent the kids to mother and father also the maids too. Right now it is just you and me." Chester said.

Terrence played with his fingers. "I don't know where to start yet. Cause to be honest I don't know how much should I reveal to you and how much you can handle."

"There why don't you start from the beginning?" Chester suggested.

"You see Kitten the Harris family has been a member of the Spectrum. It is the name of the organization who's handling all cases that the government can no longer address or handle. We basically do the dirty work. Which means during a mission I kill people to save the greater humanity. I left the organization when I passed and got my license."

"So where is this all going? Don't tell me...." Chester covered his mouth as he gasp, he couldn't bring himself to say the word.

"Yes I'm back. I came back because of you. I realized that as long at that man in out there tthere's a possibility that our life might get mess up again and I wouldn't let it happen, no not this time. There's only one way to kill than man legally and that is to handle cases that's related to him. Luckily I found all his records but the thing is the man is a member of a bigger syndicate. I thought that the only possible way is to lure him out by killing his men and subordinates. I never would've thought I'll be able to find a way that is more than effective than to torture him straight from pain. That's where the plan build in my head. I'm going to get everything that he has and when he no longer have anything that's where I'll crash him down completely."

"Bu-but you promised...." Terrence tried to reach out to Chester but Chester step back. "Then those men on the news, those men that had been slathered don't tell me..."

"Are you going to avoid me again? Are you going to say that I'm still wrong?" Terrence said those questions in a low voice as if he's controlling his voice from breaking. Terrence lean down looking down at the floor as he brought both his hands to above his head. He sigh multiple times before he spoke without breaking his position. "I know nothing can justify my action it actually contradicts my profession but know this I don't regret going back and I don't regret killing those people if it's the only way I could lure them fast back to this country."

Terrence raised his head to looked at Chester in the eyes. "So I can deal them myself. Neither both of us will be truly free from your past if your past keeps on chasing you the moment they hear that you're alive. Even if you hate me or leave me because of what I'm about to do, I won't stop, if it means securing you and the kids safety then that's all that matters to me."

Terrence gave Chester a bitter smile and Chester's heart clenched at the sight. He feels responsible with what is happening but Chester clearly knows that what his husband is doing is wrong.

"If you decided to divorce me after this then I can give you what you want just don't take the right from me to love you and protect you in the best way that I can. Kitten this is me baring my whole self to you, it is up to you whether to accept me or not but whatever decision you make rest assured that I will respect that."

Terrence got up from his seat and walk past Chester. Chester didn't budge he just stayed there for a while. Terrence on the other hand went to the kids room only to find an empty and cold quiet room. He took one of the spare towel inside the cabinet and some spare white shirt and a sweat pants that both him and Chester leaves in the children's room for emergency purposes. He cried silently under the shower letting, for the first time after he started this war Terrence let himself cry and breakdown, he let his own body feel the exhaustion that the sleepless nights of infiltrating, Fighting, gathering evidences and even studying for the case accumulated for more than 6 months. Despite all those things he had done Terrence was able to keep his sanity because he believes that his family can walk the street freely without the worry of loosing anyone from them.

"With what happened today I guess that dream wouldn't be possible." Terrence punched the wall repeatedly untill the skin on his knuckles ripped off and bled, he didn't stopped even when the tiles already crack not until someone hold back his arm and then he felt the warm hug from his behind.

No one uttered the a single word the two of them remained standing under the running water of the shower till Terrence broken the silence. "I'm sorry that you'll have to see that, I'm heading out first." Terrence broke from Chester's embrace. He took and put on the clothes he prepared without wiping his body nor his hair. He made sure to dress fast as he was not planning on spending the night afraid that he might hurt Chester into begging him not to leave him and hurting Chester right now is the last thing he would want to do. Terrence needs to stabilize his mind right now. He doesn't want his love and obsession towards Chester make him the same monster who hurt him out of his obsession towards Chester.

"Where are you going?" Chester asked,

Terrence looked at him, he didn't even heard Chester came out of the bathroom maybe because he has been so emerge with his thoughts. "I'll sleep outside. There are still things I need to do so maybe I won't be coming back for a while." Terrence said casually.

"You always go whenever we have problems." Chester said in a low voice.

"What can I do? There are things I don't have full control of and there are things I don't want to hear cause I know it will hurt me again." Terrence said, his eyes are red due to the tears he's been suppressing.

"I won't allow you to go." Chester said in a firm tone.

"I have to go." Terrence insisted. " And you can't stop me."

Chester didn't answer instead he ripped his shirt.

"What are you doing?" Terrence asked.

Chester took off the ripped shirt and twirl it before responding "Making you stay." then he charged at Terrence pinning him down laying flat on the ground tying both of his hands behind his back.

"Fuck! Kitten let me go! Since when did you become a sadist?" Terrence tried to struggle.

"Well since when you had become so stubborn that you stopped listening to me! Ha! there that will make you stay still in one place!" Chester said sitting on Terrence back. Then he patted Terrence wet shirt lightly. "That's a good boy." Chester said triumphantly with a smile on his face then he suddenly remember the times when Terrence is like a cute little puppy who's abiding to any of his requests. "I like those days when you listens and do whatever requests that I have like when I told you that I wanted to live in a simple apartment or when I told you that I only want a simple life....."

"Wait you remember?" Terrence stopped struggling upon hearing Chester say those things

Chester suddenly stopped talking. "I don't know, those images just suddenly pop out like.... wait was it my own memories from back then? If that is so then how come you were so different back then?"

"Wait Kitten, how much did you remember?" Terrence asked once again.

"Just the apartment we live in and the bicycle." Chester said in a whisper.

Both of them stayed quiet for a long time before Chester spoke first. "What's with the divorce?" Chester asked.

"Well who would want to be married to a killer disguising himself as a hero." Terrence answered.

"Then why didn't you tell me in the first place?" Chester asked.

"How can I even tell you when it's a secret that we can't tell to anyone outside.... I mean you won't understand anyways. Besides I know you'll leave me once you knew. You don't even want to shoot anyone much more having a husband who kills." Terrence sight.

"Did it ever occur to you that I might understand and stayed by your side." Chester asked. "Maybe I hate violence but you are right those people who hurt me didn't even showed me Mercy when I begged for one. They didn't even let my child go, if it weren't for a single drop of luck then maybe me and Thirdy have been to that car explosion. I just realized it recently when Thirdy got shot." Chester leaned his head up as he looked at the ceiling. The ceiling is full of glow in the dark stars. His twins did that, they changed their room's interior design all for Thirdy because those two adore Thirdy a lot.

Chester slowly lie on Terrence back while still siting on him"You know why I'm so angry right now is because you are being reckless. As much as I want this but I'm scared, I'm scared with the probability that you might get hurt or worst die. I'm missing Thirdy so much, don't make me miss you too. I don't want to lose you Terry."

Terrence can feel the warm liquid wetting his shirt even more. "I'm sorry Kitten for putting you all this through." Terrence said then he undo the knot and slowly push himself up. Chester quickly move to prevent himself from falling. Terrence face the wet face of Chester due to his tears he then slowly place kisses to his cheek where the tears run to. Terrence then hold both of his hands. "Don't leave me, you and the kids are my life. Even if I have to beg you I'll do just please don't leave me."

Chester looked at the read and violet knuckles of his husband. He can't bare to see it so Chester got up and took the first aid kit that they have in the kids room. Chester quietly cleaned the wound and placed a sturdy board to support Terrence right hand. "We will go to the hospital, it needs to be seen by the professionals." Chester said.

"But I don't want to I want to stay here with you and besides you still haven't answered my question." Terrence pouted acting like a child.

Instead of answering Chester kiss him passionately with a tongue. Like a hungry wolf who can't get enough he started feasting on Terrence neck and color bone leaving marks all over. He even took off Terrence whit wet shirt and went down to that place that he hadn't had for the past months because of Terrence busy schedule. Using a pocket knife Chester ripped off Terrence pants and set the beast that has been cage for months free. Chester licked his lips before eating it like a lollipop.
