Chapter 17: The Past and Present

Maica followed Dexter who then entered a black sedan car. One man followed them after till Dexter spoke to that man who's in his T-shirt and a pair of denim jeans "Harvey go sit at the back." The man didn't say anything and just oblige to what Dexter said.

Maica wonder who is the man sitting at the back. He didn't say anything and just quietly sit there till. "Sir it's your mother." Harvey said. Dexter looked at his phone to check on it and it appears that his suspicion is right the battery of his phone is dead.

"Answer the phone and put her on speaker." Dexter commanded. Harvey immidiately answered the call and put it on speaker.

(Harvey is Dexter with you? I can't seem to contact him I ask the others they told me he's in Charles's car but when I called Charles he said he's with you. Is Dexter there?) Dexter smiled at Rebecca. She and Lee are the same when it comes to his security maybe perhaps she got traumatized with what happened to Theo that she frequently calls just to check on him. Though Lee got traumatized over what happened to his friends and brother who was left by their partners both are the same when it comes to being over protective of him.

"Mom, I'm here. Sorry my phone shuts down I didn't noticed my battery is already running low." Dexter can hear the woman's excitement over the phone.

(Dexter darling ow you got me worried but why are you driving Charles's car though it is much safer than your motor bike.)

"I just feel like it." Dexter simply said he doesn't want to reveal to others the good news before Lee can know. Not even the body guards know that he is already expecting.

(Anyways Darling me and Dad will go home next week Dong-ha already cleared out his schedule for a month so we can spend our time with our three boys. Ow is Lee treating you right? Don't be afraid to tell Mommy if he's mistreating you in anyways ok?)

"Mom he knows better not to even dare trying. You know him."

(That's goo to hear. Anyways I got to go Me and Dad will have to go shopping of course his treat.)

"Why did Dad lost again against you?" Dexter laugh Lee's parents are still the same as that night he first met them. The two just loves to play and bet at the same time.

(Of course! This time he has to accompany me to shop to my hearts content while wearing a couple shirts that he hates the most with noooooo buts..) Lee's parents are both crazy as him but Dexter got used to the fact that he's dating a crazy man with a crazy parents plus a brother who is weird in a very unexpected way.

"Mom I may have to drop the call now. Enjoy your shopping and say hi to Dad for me."

(Ok drive safely. I love you.) Maica looked at Dexter with full of questions.

"Who was that just now?"

"My Fiance's mother. She insisted me calling her mother." Dexter answered her question.

"You two seems pretty close." Maica commented, in all those years they have been friends Maica never seen Dexter getting close to his Mother and Father. He has always been the rebellious son that his parents already lost hope to him.

"Yes they are good people. They pretty much love me as their own." Dexter happily told her that.

"So you are getting married?"

"Yeah by next month about 3 weeks from now." Dexter's news shock Maica. She was not expecting the Alpha to get married so soon.

"That soon? How long have you known your fiance?"

"We have been together for 5 years now."

"Tha-that long?"

"Yeah so I think I know the man that I'm about to get married into like the back of my hand so you don't really need to worry that much."

"Will I be invited to your wedding?" Silence followed after Maica's question till seconds later Dexter spoke.

"Yes of course that's why I'm bringing you to meet him but don't tell my family." Dexter said the reason why he became hesitant is the fact that his family might know about his wedding and about Lee, the reason why also he's so adamant to sign a Prenuptial agreement before he accepted Lee's proposal of marriage. He just wanted Lee to be safe as much as the Alpha is trying his best to keep him safe.

"It looks like he came from a rich family." Maica's comment made Dexter's heart pound. The reason why he doesn't want his family finding out is because he doesn't want them to know just how rich Lee is let alone his whole family. His father's richest is nothing Compare to them.

"Maica promise me everything you'll see from here on out please don't tell it to my family. I don't want them to know. You know how they are they will only going to ruin things for me. I don't want that to happen. That's why I decided to leave my family to be with him. I love him and he is my life." Lee has been the only man for him that's why he always make sure that the Alpha will feel at ease in everything about their relationship. Dexter knows just how much Lee loves him.

The two came inside their unit and as soon as they got inside a low sound of Charlie Puth's Attention can be heard playing on the background. "Come inside." Dexter said inviting Maica to come in. Maica keeps on looking around Decker's unit with so much amazement. She didn't know that Dexter would own such a big unit just for him and his lover.

"Lee honey?!" Dexter called but no one answered.

"He must have been in the kitchen." Dexter said like he was talking to himself, he looked at Maica." Sit anywhere you like and make yourself comfortable I'll just to and check on him."

Ever since the two start living together Lee tried learning how to cook for Dexter he wanted to be the kind of man he watched in the romantic comedies where the guy always wakes up early to prepare breakfast for their lovers. Dexter went straight to the kitchen and there he saw him singing along with the song being played. Dexter leaned his shoulder against the kitchen entrance and quietly watched Lee as he cooked diligently for him. He smile before walking quietly behind his back and smoothly wrap his arms around his waist.

"Ow Dexy you almost gave me a heart attack. I thought you were someone else." Dexter rest his chin to Lee's shoulder. Lee just pinch his nose slightly before he continued on with what he was doing. "Charles said you took and drive his car."

"Hhmmmm, hmmm." Dexter answered while he turn and burry his face to the nook of Lee's neck as he slightly snip to his scent. Dexter doesn't know but Lee's scent always calms him down, maybe because of pregnancy that he got addicted to his scent.

"You have been snipping me lately? You might only been teasing me because of that on going punishment of yours. I told you I won't do that anymore but you don't want to forgive me.

"Lee honey I told you that you are grounded didn't I? I was generous enough to let you get off by other means." Dexter answered that only made Lee pout.

"But I still can't get inside of you. Dexy that's where my dicky should be! Though your mouth is my second favorite place it's still not enough!" Lee complains.

"You don't only get to have my mouth you also get to enjoy my hands, thigh and other parts of my body. I just didn't let you get inside of me but the other parts of my body are all yours. Untill you are grounded you won't get to have it inside." Dexter let go of Lee's waist but Lee is quick to make, he instantly grab both of his hands and clasp it together.

"Stay there I want you to hug me till I'm done here." This kind of thing is not new to Dexter for Lee is the kind of man that loves it when he clings to him since he rarely does that.

"Ok I will but I brought someone maybe we could invite her to have lunch with us?" Dexter asked.

"Who was it?" Lee knows that ever since Dexter left his family the only person he has was just him and his family that's why it came as a big surprise to him when the Alpha suddenly said that he brought someone in their home.

"Remember the best friend that I told you about?" Lee's grip on the ladle became tight that the veins on his right hand starts showing.

"The best friend that you used to loved." Lee's said in a cold tone and Dexter knew that this Lee is no longer his playful, crazy, sweet but the possessive, overly jealous and dangerous Lee.

"I saw her earlier and we chat a little, she wants to be friends again....." Dexter feels Lee before proceeding to what he was saying.

Lee just continue with hi cooking he didn't responded with the information. "I figured that she didn't do something wrong to me and it was me who ended our friendship because I couldn't accept the truth that she rejected me and choose the man that she loves.... Soooooo I accepted her offer." Dexter's last sentence made Lee drop the ladle that he was holding.

"Lee honey?"

"Dexter do you want to get back with her? Are you going to choose her?" Lee asked without moving from his spot. He didn't even bother to looked at Dexter.

Dexter who saw how Lee reacted got worried so he while still standing behind Lee Dexter raised his right hand to turn Lee's face to his side. "I love you, I won't choose her over you. You know that. I just want to restore the friendship that I have with her which I severe many years ago because of my ego. Please understand..."

"You don't love her anymore?" Dexter shake his head no. "No I don't it is you who I love now." Dexter took the initiative and kissed Lee the simple light kissed that started with a simple nibbling became deep, hot and needing as if kissing Dexter is the only thing that can assure Dexter's feelings to him. "Hhhhhmmmm...." Dexter moan in between the kiss. Lee turned his body around but before that he turned off the stove without looking. He deepen the kiss more till his tongue completely exploring and tasting Dexter's mouth. He push Dexter backward till the later felt the cold marble of kitchen island against his waist. Lee lifted Dexter and made him sit on top of the island. His kiss lower down to Dexter's neck while his left hand is making its way inside his shirt teasing his sensitive nipple.

"Aaaaahhhhmmmm, hhhhmmmm." Dexter throw his head backward giving Lee more access to his neck feeling the pleasure and hotness that Lee's kiss leaves in every part of his skin that his mouth touches. He felt Lee's hands are starting to unbuckle his belt signaling that his Alpha wanted more than just making out. "Lee we can't aaahhh hhhmmmm uuuhhhmmm." Dexter said but miserably failing he knows his body wanted it too.

"Dexy please----." Lee said still kissing his neck leaving marks on his smooth and flawless skin while his hands are already pulling down his pants that are already half through.

"Lee we can't..." Dexter tried to push Lee and saw the sadness to his face.

"Lee honey...." Lee got off of him. "Go fixed yourself and go see your friend I'll follow after I finished this." Dexter hated the most seeing Lee making that expression but for their baby he just can't no matter how much he wanted to give in but he just can't risk it. Dexter pulled up his pants and buckled his belt before he got off the kitchen isle. He hug him from behind. "Why are you still here? Go and see your friend."

"You are sulking." Dexter answered.

"You don't want to make love to me." Lee said in a cold voice. "I get it that you are angry that I got hurt during that Nash incident but you can't keep on doing this and that woman's presence only adds up to my insecurities." The last sentence made Dexter laugh clearly all this sulking is not entirely about him depriving Lee to have sex with him but him getting threatened in the face of the person he used to love. Dexter turned Lee's body and took both of his hands, guided it to touch his belly.

"I was actually planning in telling you this on our wedding day but since I can't bear to see you making that worried sulking face soooo....." Lee looked at him with confusion on his face.

"I don't understand." Lee said.

"You see the reason that we can't do it lately is because there is a little Shun growing inside and that little Shun has a weak grip so he needs to grip tightly first before we can do all those things." Dexter explained. Lee's eyes widen in disbelief, his eyes keeps on looking at him and then his belly back to his face then to his belly then he just suddenly collapse. "Aw Lee honey?!"

Maica looked at the man lying on the couch who uses Dexter's thigh as a pillow. No matter how much she looks at him she can't deny the fact that the guy is an Alpha. His physical appearance screams the physique of an Alpha male not to mention his looks, she never seen a man as handsome as the man lying on Dexter's thigh in personal and upclose. She been wanting to ask her friend but can't bring herself to. The way Dexter's looked at him with worry and care she knows that's not the way a friend would look at the person that he treats only as a friend.

"Dext who is he?" Finally the question she has been meaning to ask left her mouth.

"Him? My fiance. He is the person that I would want to introduce to you."

"But he is an Alpha..... You know it's impossible for the relationship between...."

"I know that already. You don't need to tell me." Dexter smiled at her them shifted his gazed to Lee's unconscious face. He brush those hair away from his face. "I love him and he loves me. Our relationship will work cause that's what I believe in. He made me believe that it could actually work and it did. As long as he loves me, as long as he wants me then that's all that matters to me not what others will say about us. They don't know what the future holds and doesn't have the right to decide the future for us. We make our future base on what we believe in and both me and him believes that we can be together forever as long as we live." Dexter saw Lee's lips twitch which made him smile.

"You are feigning." He said softly, still brushing Lee's hair.

"How long have you been awake?" Dexter asked.

"Since the part when you told me you love me" Lee said with eyes still closed.

"Hhhmmm so you heard." Lee slowly opened his eyes and saw Dexter.

"Kiss me." Lee said in a low voice. Dexter leaned down without saying anything he captured Lee's lips that are waiting for him. It was a sweet passionate kiss. So do you still think that I don't love you?" Dexter asked. Lee bite his lower lips as he smiles.

"No, my Dexy Love's me very much." Dexter just rolled his eyes to Lee's statement but what's important right now is Lee is back to his crazy old self. He felt Lee's hand on his belly.

"So is it really true that we have little Lee growing inside you?" Dexter chuckled at Lee's question. "I said little Shun not little Lee. We still don't know if it's a girl or a boy."

"Well I can feel it that it's going to be a little Lee." Lee declared.

"And how sure you are with that?" Dexter raised his eye brow.

"Well I just simply trust my sperm cells I know they won't let me down they will surely going to give me a little Lee." Dexter laughed then Lee turn on his side till his face is facing Dexter's belly.

"Little Lee Daddy is very happy." Lee whispered. Maica looked at the scene before her and felt happy that her friend finally found a man who he truly cares about and cares about him too.

"So he's the lucky man?" Maica's question brought back the two couples who were seems lost in their own little world that they forgot her existence. Dexter smiled awkwardly to her little embarrassed that she has to witness all that public display of affection.

"Yeah he is." Dexter simply answered. Lee sir up after hearing the voice and looked at that person. He stand up to introduce himself.

"Shun, Lee Dexter's soon to be husband and as what you just heard soon to be the father of our child." Maica can feel the heavy atmosphere cause by Lee's pheromones darted at her that's tells her that Dexter is his, nevertheless she still accepted Lee's hand assuring the Alpha that she means no harm.

"Come on let's eat, I'm famished." Dexter got up and went straight to the dinning area living the two alone together.

"I'm sorry if I ever made you feel uncomfortable but I mean no harm. I just want to be friends with him again."

"Why do you think is that?" Lee asked.

"Base on your reaction and your Pheromones taking claim and being territorial I figured that you must know about Dexter's feelings to me back then. Don't worry I don't love him romantically I just see him as an older brother that happens to be my best friend at the same time." Maica said truthfully.

"Just don't anything that might harm him or I don't know what I'll do with you." Lee turned his back to her to follow Dexter who's already in the dinning area. "What are you still waiting for Dexter is waiting." Lee's statement made Maica smile and followed Lee.

Aiden walked to his office but was halted by the familiar voice that called him uncle. He never expect to hear it in this kind of place so to be sure he turned around to confirm it with his own eyes. He can't believe wha he was seeing he rub his eyes to make sure that he's seeing it right but his eyes are not deceiving him so he close his eyes in disbelief only to open them again and there he is the boy that keeps on calling him running towards him with his little steps till he reaches him and went straight to hug his thigh.

"Uncle Lander misses you." Lander who burrow his face to his thigh slowly looked up to him. "You said you will visit Lander." Lander said it with his cute chubby cheeks and lips that are pouting.

Aiden smiled awkwardly at some point he actually forget about visiting the boy. "Sorry Uncle Aiden was just very busy that uncle forgot." Aiden Pat the head of the kid. He knelt down so he could level himself with Lander. "But uncle always make sure to have eyes over Lander to make him safe."

Though Aiden might have forgot about visiting the kid but he always make sure to have the kids movements, where about and conditions be supervised. Not a day passes by that the people he assigned won't report any to him. He made sure to instruct them if Bea has ever lay a hand on the boy or if something happened to the boy. Aiden looked around to see if the boy is with someone but no one was around. He wonder why his people never mentioned about this to him.

Aiden tried to hide his frustrations in front of Lander but made sure to note to himself to talk to his people about this.

"Are you with someone?"

"Yes, Daddy brought Lander with him. He said Lander can come to Daddy's office." Aiden looked around him once more trying to find the Alpha but Lance is nowhere to be seen.

"But where is your Dad?"

"I saw uncle pass by so Lander followed you. Daddy is busy talking to someone so Lander don't know where Daddy is." Aiden just sighed.

"Here do you want to come with uncle?" Lander nodded, Aiden hold the boy by his hand as they entered Aiden's office.

After an hour Aiden heard a knock on his door after that Lance enter with an enraged look on his face.

"Daddy!" Lander immidiately jump from where he's sitting down on the floor and run to his father.

"Lander why did you leave Daddy's side. Daddy is so worried." Lance pick up Lander and darted his killing gaze back to Aiden who didn't even took a glimpse of the scene in front of him. "And you! Why didn't you even tell me that my son is with you?"

"Lander's where about and safety should be your responsibility. You should know where your son all the time. You can't expect him to stay in the same place where you left him and expect to see him there. He's a child he will wonder around if he sees things or a person that catches his attention." Aiden said with his attention on his laptop. Lance wasn't able to say anything.

"You're the person who should know better not me who's just a stranger." Lander noticed the situation but couldn't understand what is happening.

"Is Daddy angry with uncle?" Lander asked. Lance smile.

"No Daddy is just worried that's all."

"I'm sorry Daddy, Lander just go excited cause Lander saw uncle."

"You know him?" Lander nodded.

"Uncle's the one who found Lander. He let Lander sleep in their house and treated Lander with lots of delicious foods....." Lander wave his hands up in a big circle to show how a lot were the food received from Aiden. "Daddy don't be mad at uncle. Uncle is a friend of Lander."

"I'm not mad but you have to promise me that you won't leave Daddy's side always Ok?" Lance said to his child.

"If that's how you always treat your child no wonder you remain oblivious to what's happening to him." Lance shifted his gaze back to the Omega who's attention is still fix on what's he's typing to his laptop.

"What do you mean by that?" Aiden sighed before he stopped typing and looked at him.

"I'm saying you are being too complacent to your family's safety, that you don't exert enough effort to make sure how safe they are. You always rely on you money and power that you tend to over looked at the simple and minor details. As if you didn't learn from your pasts mistakes."

"What do you mean I don't get you. I don't you just tell it directly to me?"

"You are being an irresponsible father that's what I mean. You failed to see things that are happening with your child, You lost sight of him cause you are paying too much attention to other and most of all you are always trying to put all the blame to others. Open your eyes Lance maybe that can help you see things clearly." It was the first time that the Omega ever called him by his first name since the first time they've met it was always been Mr. Montero.

"If you have no business with me you can go now." Aiden wave his hand to shoo Lance away. Lance didn't wait a minute and walked out of Aiden's office.

Aiden rested his head at the back rest of his chair. "Bea...." Aiden whispered.

"Will Daddy be coming with us?" Dos asked worried, they are already at the entrance of the bus that will be used as their service to get to their destination.

"I told you don't get your hopes way too high. He's a very busy man." Uno answered that only made his twin brother sadder than he already is.

"Don't be sad at least Mom is here with so as Thirdy. The three of us can still have a good time." Uno tried to lighten his brother's mood.

"I thought you said that your Dad will come?" Chester look at the the kid who seems to be as the same age as Uno and Dos talked to his second child.

"Our Mother is with us, won't it be enough?" Uno answered.

"But your brother said that your father will also going to come. It seems what my mother said to Tiffany's mother is true that your father doesn't love you!"

"That's a pretty strong thing to say, don't you think buddy?" Joey felt a man placed their hand over his shoulder and instantly saw Dos face light up.

"Daddy!"
