"Just a few more, and I finally can start the operation," Lance wickedly thought.

Max tries to grab it, but Lance jumps to deliver a knee strike which Max blocks. But it sends him flying again, but he stops in time to move forward and leaps, throwing a flying kick, which Lance counters with a punch of his own.

When both fists and legs collided, a visible wave was released.

And Max, on the losing end, flew backward into the air.

"I don't like the fact that there's such a gap between just a mere 2 percent," thought Max, feeling humiliated.

Max then out two heavy metal balls from a leather bag and threw them with pinpoint precision toward lances, eyes, and vital parts.

"Evil little bastard," thought Lance as his hands danced through the air, catching the mildly dangerous projectiles.

After landing, Max moved forward in a zigzag motion while crouching and threw a punch toward the core.

"His way stronger than normal class 4 and almost even reaching class 5 based on pure combat. What kind of monster is this 14-year-old brat?" thought Lance.

And when Lance moved his body to dodge the hit, it turned out to be a feint as Max jumped to deliver a frontal attack with both his legs which Lance blocked and stepped back by one foot, and hits with his right hand.

Max puts the hand into a submission hold, but Lance uses the momentum to deal an uppercut that launches Max into the air.

Then he jumped up and kneed Max back, then used an elbow to make him hit the ground faster, spreading dirt and grass upon landing.

"I guess the ruse is up," thought Lance as he prepared to start the operation.

Max upon landing, vomited out blood, which indicates internal bleeding and a possible crack in the vertebrae, and a severe concussion.

The other instructors found out something was wrong and rushed to stop the spar, but Lance stomped on Max's head with full force.

When they got close, Lance spun and clawed the three of them, using his ability on his claws and body to increase his speed, then sliced their necks and ended their lives on the spot.

One of Lance's powers is to increase the function of a specific part, but as a result, that part gets abolished for 1 minute.

One of the instructors said, "What are you doing?" in a rage.

Lance smiled and didn't answer the question, but turned his nails into claws, crouching into a feral position as hair rapidly sprouted out from his skin, bones distorting into a wolf-like form, and his teeth morphed into fangs, looking like a depiction of a lycan, or better known as a werewolf.

Lance was a half-Gaeste, half-human. Half-Gaeste formed after the church of the ascendants matched the beasts and humans to wipe out the power gap between them and the other factions.

They sent a lance to assassinate the future heads of noble houses, and the Eliot family was on the list due to having only one child.

It's safe to assume that since Lance acted at Max, his mother and father should be Kia.

And with spies implanted in the family, they would calmly take over the assets as long as Max is out of the picture.

So Lance acted dashingly towards the instructors. They drew their blades. But Lance roared, releasing a sound wave that made them bleed from their orifices. They then used their abilities to temporarily buff its effects.

Lance came to one of them and sliced open their internals. And was attacked with Ki flames burning half of his face, while another attacked Lance with a Ki internal fist, which functions is to transfer force into the target, but Lance spun and tore out one of the eyes. The other one retreated. So Lance aimed for the others, but they'd already retreated from the vicinity. Only three more are left.

No one moved except Max. With pure rage and fear, he jumped from the ground and stabbed Lance in the other eye that wasn't damaged by the flames, and crouched down and stabbed him in the lower body.

"Did I get him?" hoped Max.

With anger, Lance kicked Max away with full force and used the other senses to perceive his surroundings. The three instructors were left, one with fire, one with air, and the last with the ability to buff the abilities of others and attacked Lance.

"This is the worst mission those damn slave drivers have sent me on, damn it," angrily thought Lance in pain.

Lance released another sound wave, but the ki-enchanted fire was slowly getting the advantage, burning the ground and spreading smoke and ashes.

So Lance sacrificed vocal cords with ki to increase the damage, defeating the fire and destroying the brains of the instructors and their eardrums.

Then they looked for Max, but it turns out that even with multiple severe career-ending injuries to slipping away from the chaos.

Max went into his residence and then wanted to run to the compound to ask for help from the guards. But turns out the rest of the spies acted out their plans taking every guard, maid, and cleaner by surprise.

He proceeded to hide in a secure corner.

"What do I do?" said Max.
