16 Dominator and Devourer

As Ddraig destroyed the large mountain he had slept within, Ghidorah prepared himself for the fight to come. His red eyes shinning with power as he coursed his lightning through his veins. For he knew that there was no avoiding this battle.

Ddraig already has his scent and with the help of the dragon gate, there would be nowhere he couldn't find him. Making the action of running pointless and Ghidorah can tell by the dragon's raging aura that talking is no option either.

So, as Ddraig's large form was freed from the large mountain, Ghidorah was prepared when Ddraig snapped his head in his direction and blitzed toward him. Sending tremors through the earth with each beat of his wings.

Seeking to stop him, Ghidorah charged up three gravity beams and unleashed them. The golden energy vaporizing the air and singeing space as it neared the Dragon Emperor. Who merely smirked, his emerald eyes shining in amusement.

Opening his maw, Ddraig released a torrent of dragon fire that clashed with the Gravity Beams. Pushing the rays back for but a moment before Ghidorah added more power. Causing the clash to even out.

Only for it to end as Ddraig reached Ghidorah. His massive form collided with the Golden Demise's as the earth quaked. The pure physical force behind Ddraig forcing Ghidorah back as his feet clawed at the ground, slowing down his pace.

Now face to face, Ddraig quickly bit into Ghidorah's third head. His teeth tearing through the scales as he reactivated his dragon fire. Causing Ghidorah to roar out as he felt the intense heat begin to burn away at his neck. Incinerating his flesh.

Forcing the King of Terror to retaliate in brazen fury. Gathering power in his spiked tail, Ghidorah slammed the glowing appendage into Ddraig's side. Piercing his red scales and drawing both blood and an alarmed roar from the Red Dragon Emperor, having not expected such potent resistance.

However, he did not have time to dwell on it as Ghidorah gathered air into his first mouth before adding his energy to it, transforming the air into a black mist. Before releasing it in a strong gale that violently launched Ddraig back.

All the while, the black mist began to eat away at the dragon's scales but a burst of Ddraig's aura ended that. Now far apart, Ddraig took this chance to look over his opponent. He had jumped into things too rashly since he had never seen the dragon. Making him think it was an upstart to prideful for his own good.

Yet now, Ddraig could sense the powerful aura that Ghidorah held within, having not released it. Bringing a grin to his face. "This is unexpected. To think such a strong dragon would rise while I slept... This is going to be fun." Ddraig remarked. As excited to fight as ever.

Hearing this, Ghidorah could guess what was going to happen next. His healing already complete.

Deciding to up the ante Ddraig activated the power he is known for. A green aura flashed over his body as his aura doubled. Forcing Ghidorah to release his own aura in response. Causing the red and golden aura to clash as Ddraig slammed his forelegs into the ground.

"It's not often that I get the chance to fight someone that can keep pace with me, Gold One! Please, by all means, use every power at your disposal! Let's make this interesting!" Ddraig roared. His red aura caused their surroundings to ignite, only to be put out by Ghidorah's storms.

A bit irked by Ddraig's proclamation, Ghidorah growled as lightning coursed through his body. Ddraig did not seem at all worried about the fate of this battle. Even if the dragon appears to be around his level. Is it pride in his skill: Boost? Or something else?

From what Ghidorah remembers, Ddraig's ability doubles the user's power every ten seconds. Though, it is probably instantaneous for Ddraig himself. So as long as he has stamina, his power should be endless.

Thankfully, the multiplication of his power is only linear. Meaning that from now on Ddraig will only be adding the same amount as his first boost to his power every time he uses it. If it was exponential, Ghidorah would stand no chance. He has no doubt about that.

But it's not. So, Ghidorah has a good chance of winning this. Especially with his own special ability.

Blitzing forward, Ghidorah and Ddraig quickly neared each other. The now doubled power of Ddraig caused him to be faster as they connected. Allowing him to make the first move as he covered his hand in dragon fire before slashing at Ghidorah's chest.

Tearing through the scales and charring the flesh. Forcing a pained grunt from Ghidorah as Ddraig then followed up with a swipe of his tail that acted as a whip. Pushing the Golden Demise back with a snap.

Moving to continue, Ddraig stepped forward on his hind legs and pulled back his right arm to deliver a punch. Only to then flash green twice more before he then transfers that power to his arm. Increasing its speed and strength as it connected with Ghidorah's chest.

Sending him flying back with the sound of his draconic ribcage shattering under the pure force behind that attack. It was unlike anything Ghidorah had ever received and as he crashed into the ground, he realized that he forgot about Ddraig's second skill: Transference.

Pulling himself up, Ghidorah allotted more of his power toward healing before raising his middle head and looking toward Ddraig. Who is quickly nearing him and would be before him in seconds.

Quickly manifesting his magic circle and teleporting, Ddraig's claw barely missed him as he appeared behind the Dragon Emperor. Before instantly biting into his shoulders and activating his absorption.

Causing Ddraig's eyes to widen in alarm as his boosted power began to be siphoned away at a record pace. And he could do nothing to stop it. His control over that added power is little to nothing without Transfer, due to how rapidly it goes and comes. Never allowing him to truly control it.

Making it easy for Ghidorah to take it from him. But it's not like this sort of thing is new to Ddraig. No, he's fought another being with similar abilities countless times, and never has he fallen due to such a trick.

So, even as Ghidorah grow bigger and evolved on his power, Ddraig was able to quickly determine the conditions for Ghidorah's absorption and smack him away with a backhand as he turned around. Ripping Ghidorah off his body.

However, the work was already done, the mere seconds Ghidorah had was enough to absorb the equivalent of 5 boosts. As such, Ghidorah's only response to Ddraig's backhand was annoyance as he counterattacked by creating the Black Mist before releasing it in a strong gale that collided with Ddraig, creating a sonic boom and sending him back.

Now apart, Ghidorah took his time to look over Ddraig, his eyes shinning with greed. The amount of power he felt now was unlike anything he ever felt before, besides Outrage, and he wants more of it. So much more... and Ddraig can provide plenty of it.

Dusting himself off with a flap of his wings, Ddraig stood on his hind legs. Revealing that he had taken very little damage from that last attack and with each flash of green light, Ghidorah could tell the Dragon Emperor has only just got started.

Laughing, Ddraig spread his wings out wide as he spoke. "Tell me your name, Gold One. No one, besides my rival, has pushed me this far in centuries. I must know the name of the dragon that has stepped into the realm of the Heavenly Dragons."

Spreading his own wings out, Ghidorah's faces grinned. Both in desire and nostalgia. "I am King Ghidorah, the King of Monsters. The Golden Demise and the Sky Dragon. Soon to be Gold Dragon Emperor!"

At Ghidorah's ambition and challenge, Ddraig grinned. "Lovely titles. However, you are still far too weak to defeat me, you mere hatchling!" The Dragon Emperor loudly rebuked as his power skyrocketed. His body flashing green every second.

Causing his aura to increase drastically as the entire continent they stood on began to shatter. The only thing holding it and the planet together is the influence of Gaia. Otherwise, this planet would crumble under the true might of Ddraig.
