CHAPTER 8

Maisey couldnt sleep with all the things she learned yesterday it was too much she tossed and turned still thinking about everything without realising she stroked over the mating rune she and Chase shared and it tingles to the touch she brushed her fingers across her lips still feeling Chase lips on them she couldnt help but smile she wanted to kiss him again but more a small smile formed on her lips and with that thoughts she finally dozed off to sleep.

When Maisey awoke she sat up in bed looking around taking in the room she slept in it was a beautiful decorated room with natural colours all around she stood up walking over to the window to draw back the curtains and gasp in amazement her room looked out over the beautiful back yard with all its rose bushes in different colours and in the middle a fountain that sprouts water it was so peaceful and relaxing just to simply watch it then she heard a soft knock at her door. she slowly made a way to the open and when opening Derek was standing there with his hands full of a big duffle bag "morning maisey thought you might need some clothes your aunt send them over if you wouldn't mind getting dressed and meet us downstairs in the living room we have still alot to discuss" i simply smiled and took the box and went back into my room before looking through the clothes i made up the big bed seriously this bed was gigantic it would take the whole da to do this heaving a breathless sigh i gave up the attempt and walked over to the box full of clothes i picked out a black skinny and my favourite linkin park t-shirt and my vans i walked to the bathroom to take a shower. once done i dressed and put my hair in a high ponytail taking a final look in the mirror pleased with my look i made my way down the stairs towards the living room.

Before even entering the room my body heat up and the sight of my mating rune burns up unconsciously a smile krept onto my face knowing Chase was in there. when i entered he had a smile on his face and strolled over to me making the rune burn more but in a relaxing way he handed me a cup of coffee which i thankfully accepted.

Derek cleared his throat in an attempt to get my attention "firstly Happy b-day Maisey and as you know your new journey begins from today on out now that you and Chase has marked each other there's a second part in completing the bond but first I'll explain everything so that you can understand okay?"....." okaaaaayyyy wait what there's more?" Derek gave a small chuckle and sat down onto the soft couch opposite to me " yes theres a whole lot more before we can continue as I've told you yesterday you are born into the 3 most powerful clans that ever existed meaning Maisey you are a tribrid...." "a what?" i asked before Derek could continue " well as you already know we're shadow hunters you included but you are part shadow hunter part witch part werewolf making you a tribrid you are all 3 and that's why you are our queen you pocess all 3 of the most powerful gifts ever unlike you Chase is a hybrid meaning he's part shadow hunter part werewolf and that's why there's a second part into the mating bond between you 2 to do to fully complete the bond because of the werewolf gene the both of you have you have to mark one another through the werewolf bond to mark that you 2 are bonded to each other so that other were wolf's knows not to come near you in doing so Chase needs to bite your neck to leave a mark and you do the same to him once that is done you'll have to mate to fully complete the bond but that has to happen today because your ritual to crown you will be tonight the mating doesnt have to happen today but the mark has to because your mate must be represented aswell" i didn't know how to respond u opened my mouth to say something but nothing comes out i looked from Derek to Chase seeing his flustered i can see he's little embarrassed no shit i am to after what i just heard my mind was so clustered i just nodded not trusting my voice to say something this is all to much to take in. " I'll leave you 2 to finish and will be back shortly" i heard Derek say walking out of the room.

"are you ready?" Chase asked me crouching down before me i stared at him blankly i all i could do is nod my mouth feeling dry. " uhm Maisey i should warn you this marking thing is kinda intimate it involves me being in your neck are you sure?" still i just sat there looking at Chase nodding once more i swear I'm like a retard just nodding at everything finally i cleared my throat and looked straight into Chase eyes " I'm still confused but I'm sure i want to do it i trust you" i said shocked by my answer Chase just smiled and took my hands in his he pulled my up against him i and i feel my body relaxing he than turns around and let me out of the of the living room walking down the hall "where are we going?" i asked Chase confusedly " to my room it'll be more comfortable and private there" Chase said with a smile on his lips. I can feel my heart pounding and i knee there's no place i rather be right now but in his arms feeling his lips on mine...
