Cinders of Pride

The more I looked around, the more I just noticed that the whole city earlier was already in shambles. There was no intact building in sight. "What is going on in here?"

Multiple demons battled with each other, resulting in me having to hide in the rubbles. I can see multiple buildings fading from existence as well. Is this what happens if I challenge a Demon King in a peaceful land?

"Old bag, you said you saw the defeat of our king?" A bulk demon with his goons kicked an old lady around.

"I swear it was a guy with a brown coat, black hair, and magenta eyes! Why won't you believe me?" She got kicked by them even harder.
