Synopsis

"The Demon King's Transmigration of Luck" follows the story of Shey, a young university student who is suddenly hit by a truck and wakes up to find himself transmigrated into the body of the demon king from the novel he'd read the day before. At first, everything seems to be going well. The demon king is supposed to be an incredibly powerful and formidable figure, feared by all who know him. But as soon as Shey tries to use his powers, he quickly realizes that something is amiss. His strength and abilities are tied to a strange game-like system that has appeared before him, and unfortunately, Shey has accidentally allocated all of his free points to luck, leaving him with next to no strength or agility. Despite this setback, Shey is determined to make the best of his situation. He quickly discovers that his luck is off the charts, and every time he finds himself in a pinch, his good fortune seems to save the day. His subordinates, the hero who is coming to kill him, and even the NPCs all believe him to be a formidable demon king, but Shey knows the truth: he is just a lucky guy who manages to get out of every sticky situation by the skin of his teeth. As the story unfolds, Shey must navigate the treacherous world of demon politics, all while relying on his wits and his incredible luck to keep him one step ahead of his enemies. Along the way, he encounters a cast of memorable characters and finds himself in all sorts of hilarious and absurd situations as he tries to keep up the charade of being a powerful demon king. "The Demon King's Transmigration of Luck" is a comedic tale of a transmigrated university student who must use all his cunning and his seemingly endless good fortune to survive in a world where everyone believes him to be much more powerful than he really is.
