CHAPTER 45: ARCHDEMON LUST

As soon as the door closed behind Fate, Queen Lili turned to V and said, "What's your plan with the boy?"

V chuckled, "I don't have to tell you a thing. If you wanted only your sleazy hands on him, you knew exactly where to find him. I know you wouldn't have broken a sweat to get him out of there."

"Whatever human. I don't have to explain my reasons to you."

"Neither do I."

"Keep your secrets but you are not allowed to leave without my permission whenever that might be," Lili smirked deviously.

"How long would we have to stay before you let us go?" V asked with a frown.

"That is for me to know and for you to find out."

"That is vague."

"Vagueness should be the least of your worries. Do we have a deal?"

"Absolutely not."

Queen Lili threw her head back and cackled. The sound of her cackling echoed through the huge space and the sound kept bouncing off the walls producing an even louder sound.

"That was funny," Lili said and slowly stood up. She took a step forward. "You seem to think you have an advantage here."'

V glared at her but did not say a word. Lili didn't say more until she was less than two feet away from V, her huge dress was literally pushing against V.

"Deal or I'll send you off?"

"Send me off?" V chuckled. "Is this a joke? Ohh, my bad. You mean send us off? Sure, do it. I dare you."

"Nah, just you." Lili bent her head to the side and grinned. Her fangs and horns gave her a creepy expression.

"The boy wouldn't let that happen. You seem to forget I am his one and only savior. The one who rescued him from a world of pain while your ass was sitting here getting fucked!"

"You vile woman!" Ameita cussed and rushed towards V. "You won't speak to me Queen in that manner."

"Ameita!" Lili yelled.

"Yes, your grace." The demon fell to her face almost immediately.

"Let me handle this, don't let a single human get your titties in a knot," Lili said with a soft chuckle.

Lili turned to V. "You said the boy wouldn't let that happen. The boy wouldn't know."

Something unreadable passed across V's face. "Don't be ridiculous. You would have to explain my disappearance and let's say you succeed in sending me off, I'll just come back to get him."

Lili locked eyes with V. "Do you really think you can find the manpower to defeat us and take the boy? Hell, you couldn't even inflict damage on Ameita and for a human, you are pretty strong."

Silence.

"Enough! I can't believe I have to explain this. If you don't agree to my terms you can't get the boy, let alone leave with him. There is no negotiation here. You listen to what I say. Also, I won't have to explain your disappearance." Her face breaks into the nastiest smile ever and for a few seconds, V is reminded that she is having a conversation with an archdemon.

The smile disappeared and Lili resumed her speech. "It is pretty obvious you don't have a lot of options here, the fact that I have to spell this out is a little irritating. You can stay as long as I want you to stay and you will leave with the boy or you can leave alone and never get the boy?"

"I could pretend to agree and sneak out with the boy at night."

The Queen sighed, it was obvious the female didn't want to make this easy for both of them. "You wouldn't make it out of the town and even if you did, dark magic protects this town. Why do you think humans aren't trooping here? The only safe way here is through the sea and nobody can let you through except me."

"The boy wouldn't let you do what you want with me without a proper explanation."

"Are we back to this?" Queen Lili asked, she did not hide her exasperation. "You seem to forget I am an Archdemon, not just any archdemon but Lust."

V's eyes widened in fright.

Queen Lili smiled, "You understand now that I can control human emotions."

"But you said the boy isn't human."

"But he isn't a demon either, not yet." The last part was said under her breath. "I can't mess with his memories but I can easily replace certain people in it and considering how little time you have spent with him, I am sure it will not be hard to overwrite your role."

V bent her head forward, she knew when she had lost a fight. "Deal," she mumbled.

Queen Lili clapped her hands. "Beautiful. Your presence will be nice for us, some of the demons have never seen a human female though I am not sure you do the human females justice but you are likely all we will get for another couple of decades. You will have to do. Oh, they will be delighted." Lili squealed in excitement as she returned to the throne.

"I agreed to stay, not to be involved in whatever orgy party or vile sexual acts you demons involve in."

Queen Lili stopped working and slowly turned around. "Your tongue, human, is obviously sharper than your swords. Count yourself lucky to nestle between the thighs of a succubus, the chances of that ever happening is zero."

The Queen continued her walk back to the seat, she sat down and waved her hand at V. V scoffed and started walking away.

"Oh, one more thing." Queen Lili said when V's hands rested on the door to push it open.

V didn't turn. "What?!" She yelled out.

"You say any detrimental things about us to the poor boy and our deal is over, it would be like it never happened."

"Wait a minute," V said and turned around. "What guarantee do I have that you'll keep your word and not keep the boy for yourself?"

Queen Lili sighed and squinted her eyes. "I know I am a demon but my words are truths."

"Why should I trust you? All you did was threaten me."

"Come!"

"Why?"

"Do you want your guarantee or not?" Queen Lili yelled.

V didn't answer, just scoffed loudly and began to the long walk to the Queen. She got to her and stopped walking. "Now, what?"

"Come even closer."

V glared at the Queen, a little suspicious. "I don't trust you."

"I know but you must understand that if I wanted you dead I could have done that a long time ago."

"Alright," V said and climbed up the stairs.
