CHAPTER 33: WELCOME TO DEMON TOWN

Fate walked down the plank. He could walk better now, he walked funny but at least he could walk by himself. It had been over a week since they left the island and now they had arrived at the supposed destination.

The journey had been a lot faster than they had anticipated which was good as the trip was getting to V. She had constant dark circles around her eyes and no matter how hard she tried she always threw up after breakfast.

As soon as the ship had gotten to shore, V wasted no time jumping out of it. The ship had not completely stopped moving by the time she jumped out. Zek had to throw the bag at her as she had left without it.

V stood on the sand with a big backpack on her back. She watched him struggle to make it down but as she had done for the past few days she made absolutely no offer to help him. He appreciated that.

He got to the end of the plank and tipped over, falling face-first onto the sand. It burned. He groaned in pain and quickly pushed himself upwards. He heard a snicker and his face reddened.

He slowly raised his head to see V looking at him with a straight expression and he realized he had never heard her laugh or seen her smile. He looked back at the ship to see Zek smirking and beside him were most of the crew.

Fate had not interacted much with them but they were fun and made the ship a little memorable for him. "Don't get killed," Juls called to him, he was the shortest of the crew and also the loudest.

Fate chuckled, "I won't." The crew did not know he was immortal only that he had been held in prison and they assumed it was because of his horns. Another thing he had also learned was that they were absolutely terrified of V and avoided her.

"See you in the next town. Try not to take too long. I don't know how long we would be able to wait for you." He winked as the ship started to pull away. He waved at them and Fate returned the gesture.

V turned and started to walk away. Fate rushed after her as best as he could but her pace was not fast so it was pretty easy for him to catch up with her and keep up with her.

There was nothing but sand and a few patches of grass all around. Fate looked around and there was just an endless trail of sand and the ocean on the opposite end. He could still see the ship but it was speeding off in the other direction and he knew it won't be long before he won't be able to see the ship anymore.

"How long would it take us to meet up with Zek?" Fate asked but V did not reply.

He stumbled forward and got closer to her thinking that maybe she did not hear him. "How long would it take us to meet up with ZeK?" He repeated.

She turned to look at him and then turned her head away without saying a word. Fate sighed but did not say another word. He wondered where they were going but obviously, V was in no mood to answer any of his questions.

They had been walking for at least a full thirty minutes when Fate suddenly tripped and fell. He did not stand up; rather he just rolled to his back and used his hand to shield his face from the sun.

"What do you think you are doing?" V asked as she stood over his head.

He opened his eyes to look at her. "What does it look like I am doing?" He asked and then closed it back.

"We don't have time for this." V scolded him.

He could not see her face but from the tone of her voice, she sounded pretty pissed. "I know but I am exhausted."

He could feel her glare on his face, "What are you talking about? We can still see the sea."

"Yeah but it is still pretty hard for me to walk long distances and the worst part is we are walking on sand. I am pretty tired." He could walk some more if he had to but he was already pissed that she was ignoring him.

"We don't have time for this. We still have a long way to..." V paused.

Fate opened his eyes at the odd break just in time to hear, "What do you think you are doing here?"

Fate sat upright immediately turning his head in the direction he had heard the voice come from. Fate blinked, he was sure his eyes were deceiving him. Standing in front of him about ten feet away were two women.

They wore nothing but boots and a bikini. They held spears that were pointed at them but their outfits were not the reason for the shock on his face. His mouth was wide open for a completely different reason, they were beautiful.

Fate hasn't seen a lot of women in his life but he knew they top the charts effortlessly. With their dark glowy skin, perfect face, and gray eyes but their faces were not the only pretty parts of them.

Their body captivated him just as badly as their face did and for the first time since he saw V, Fate wondered what another pair of boobs would feel like. They had toned thighs and their waistline was unreal. For some reason, all Fate could think of was an hourglass.

They were sexy and fierce and without a doubt, Fate knew they were warriors but instead of fear, he realized that his body was growing a little warm and so was his lower region, their horns did not throw him off at all. The intense urge to do something he did not want to think about was pretty strong even though he could tell they were demons.
