Chapter 10 : Cruel

" what's going on "

" hmpf ... H.. Help !!!"

" Help ..! "

" I'm drowning help !!!"

She tries to swim up but she feels herself been pulled back , she starts to feel a sharp pain in her chest her face turns purple she can't breathe she wiggles for a while before giving up she closed her eyes tight and let herself get sucked into the dark cold bottomless ocean .

' hmm I'm going to die '

' i can't believe it I'm going to die again ' she said in a rather calm tone , she said it not because she thought she would be reborn again of course not she already knew she wasn't getting a third chance in life , she was calm because she had died before she and death were cool with each other .

'So this is it '

Just as she was about to drown Li Mei feels someone pulling her back up she tries to see who it is but is too weak , The person carries her upshore and places his hand on her chest " she's still breathing " he then summons a fire ball and opens her mouth he puts the ball inside and forces her to swallow it.

Suddenly Li Mei's insides start to feel hot ,she felt like she was in a volcano ,she was burning up

she started shaking and tries to force herself to open her eyes " hngh !!"

She then opens her eyes only to find herself in a white room she starts to freak out wondering where she is until she looks around and sees she's in a hospital , she slowly starts to calm down and then she hears a click on the door.

" Li Mei !! ... your awake ...!!

" Oh my goodness Li Mei your awake "Li Fei screamed , she was already in total panic when she came back and heard her daughter had almost got married off but when she entered Li Mei's room and felt her overheating and screaming she felt like she was going to have a heart attack , she quickly rushed Li Mei off with a taxi since no one in the Li family household was willing to borrow her one of their cars , she knew her family disliked her but she didn't know they would be this cruel ,she had a look of fear as she looked at Li Mei what if something had happened to her.....

" It's okay mother I'm fine , don't worry I'll be alright"Li Mei said when she saw the worried look on Li Fei .

" Okay , I'm just worried about you i want you to know that I'm sorry for failing you as a mother " She said as she hugged Li Mei thightly and cried

" You didn't fail me your a great mother ,you work day and night to help me so don't you dare say you've failed me " Li Mei said , Even though in her old life she hadn't seen her mother cause her mother died when she was still a baby and she hadn't really experienced motherly love she still felt a deep connection with Li Fei.

Suddenly a woman and a man rushed in , the woman looked to be in her late sixties she was dressed in a black dress that was from an expensive brand she had expensive makeup on and she was frowning which made ger look ugly , Li Mei examined her from her memories this woman was supposedly her grandmother but this hag didn't show the least bit of affection towards her and her mother , Her grandmother had always disliked Li Fei and favored Li Nanchen because he had a proper job and he would give her Thousands of Yuan as allowance , she turned to the side and saw her grandfather next to her he had a calm but serious demeanour .

The middle aged woman looked at Li Mei with disgust and then opened her mouth to speak "You selfish good for nothing girl ,i heard you know Mr Jin and you got him to withdraw all projects from our family corporation how can you be so evil you and your wretched mother must leave my house right now unless !!!....

" That's enough woman can't you see that Li Mei is not well , " her grandfather said as he turned towards Li Mei

Her grandfather had always liked Li Mei because she had always been nice and caring to him not like the rest who only pretended to be nice so they could get part of his will .

" Thank you for coming grandfather " she said to her grandfather and then turned to her so-called grandmother with cold piercing eyes

" And as for you what ever happens to your family's corporation is none of my concern , Jin Yexuan cancelled the projects with Li corporation out of his own accord so please don't come in here raging like a mad bull ... " she said

" How dare you!!! is this what your stupid mother is teaching you .." Her grandmother said as she raised her hand to slap Li Fei but before she could Li Mei quickly gripped her hand and bent it behind her back and kicked her to the floor .

" This is just a warning if you ever try to harm my mother i will make you and your family suffer the consequences " Li Mei said she was ready to kill this insufferable woman .

"Aaaaaah " She screamed as she fell on he floor she couldn't believe what was happening this good for nothing timid girl had just kicked her to the floor and was now staring daggers at her .

Grandpa Li was just looking in amazement he was shocked by what just happened but he didn't say anything .

" Mother are you okay ? don't worry I'll send this hag away " she said

" Who are you calling a hag !! , you'll regret what you've done I don't want to see you in my house " her grandmother said in a threatening voice ,

" You have no right to send us from our home , if i may remember it was my father who built this mansion for me and my mother and you and your family moved in uninvited " Li Mei said

she thought she could make Li Mei and her mother beg once they heard they would be kicked out but she didn't know that Li Mei knew about this she was utterly lost for words, what is going on Li Mei was always submissive?? , what's happening ??.

" Grandfather i bid you farewell " Li Mei said as she literally shoved Her grandmother out of the room.
