33 familliar anger

I'm thinking of writing another series, here is some idea so far, these are just bare ideas without any planning so they won't be written anytime soon as I need to draft up a story, world background, etc. so don't worry about me dropping this fanfic anytime soon

1. I'm bored, let's see what mortals do: a god got bored and descended into a fantasy world disguised to cure his boredom

2. Rise of the calamity witch: a girl who wants revenge after a country burned down her village

If you have any idea of a story that you came up with, you can tell them and I'll read it

Returning my attention to Ais, I readied my katana once again.

"Would you like to continue?" I asked, and Ais silently nodded as she prepared her stance.

She dashed towards me but quickly retreated, feeling immediate danger from her instinct, and wore a look of confusion.

"*Sigh*... it's childish to think that relying on instinct alone will get you anywhere. Your handling of your rapier is amateurish, barely anywhere near the level of your strength. If you want to calm that hatred buried deep within you, your current progress is useless," I observed her Soul covered in gold, sensing deep anger and anguish hidden beneath the surface but ready to boil over once revealed.

"What do you know about my life?" Ais frowned, clearly not taking kindly to my criticism, and then dashed towards me with anger in her eyes, slashing at me. I blocked her attack.

"I've witnessed many lives come and go, some blinded by greed and the fame that comes from being a hero, and others gripped by the loss of their loved ones. I was one of them, blinded by anger and grief. clouded by it, they took hold of my sight and judgment, leading me to slaughter anyone mercilessly who stood in my way to become stronger," I guided my sword along her rapier and slashed at her. She backed away, but I pursued her.

"I see a part of me in you, a boiling revenge for someone, a loss of someone you held dear," I acknowledged, my voice laden with empathy. I slashed towards her, but she quickly dodged and delivered a counter-attack.

"You have experienced something similar to what I went through, and I don't want anyone else to fall into the same abyss I suffered," I explained as I drew my blade back, resulting in both of us being locked in a stalemate.

"Calm that hatred of yours; it will only blind you further," I tried to impart my wisdom, but Ais suddenly interrupted me.

"SHUT UP! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH!" Ais shouted in anger, pushing me away with her superior strength She dashed at me with incredible speed me and thrust her rapier towards me. I calmly deflect the incoming blade which only further angers Ais

Ais's rapier thrust forward with blinding speed, and she committed all of her strength into one strike. I tilted my head sideways to dodge the attack but felt a sharp sting on my cheek. Her rapier finally struck true as it grazed my cheek, leaving a thin trail of blood in its wake.

My hand instinctively went to my cheek, a small droplet of blood on my fingers. Ais was breathing heavily, her anger still evident in her eyes, but it seemed like the aggression had lessened a bit.

'I've grown weaker' I self monolog but turned my attention back to Ais "A good strike" I praised her as she still recovering from her anger

"Remember my words, Ais," I continued, reaching out to pat her head, as Ais looked in surprise. "It's a pity that someone as young as you has already experienced the pain and anger I'm well too familiar with. Do not allow that emotion to overpower you. Harness them to strengthen yourself, not to drive recklessness."

Ais nodded in acknowledgment, and I could see that she had regained her composure. With that, I dispelled my ice and sheathed the broken blade, ending our spar for the day. it seemed Bell had already left a long time ago

Ais returned to her manor and I returned to the pub
