7 A bit of the past and cultivation

Yan Shun began to control the fierce Qi that was entering his meridians and began to strengthen his muscles.

The first cultivation Realm called the Realm of Body Tempering, the cultivator would have to strengthen his body starting with the muscles.

Yan Shun began to strengthen his muscles with the Qi that was entering his body and an hour later his muscles reached the maximum strength possible.

Reaching level 3 Realm of Body Tempering.

Yan Shun instead of continuing like any normal cultivator to strengthen his skin, Yan Shun began to strengthen his acupuncture points, something that no cultivator would dare to do in the Body Tempering Realm.

And... Then why would Yan Shun do such a thing?

Flashback...

Well, Yan Shun in his first life, he had found a legacy of a Medicine God, although his legacy was just papers, there was a theory that piqued Yan Shun's curiosity, a theory he thought was impossible to do.

It was one where the cultivator in the Realm of Body Tempering could strengthen more parts of his body than just his muscles, skin, bones, organs, and blood.

Although it was just a theory, it could never be carried out by the Medicine God, although the Medicine God was not the first and also not the only one with this theory.

In ancient times there were many who wanted to try to strengthen other parts of the body, but ended up dying because they did not have enough information on how to strengthen those parts of the body and another is that there was a route to follow to be able to strengthen all parts of the body without dying.

In the end, no one could figure out the method of how to strengthen the various body parts, and it was determined that in the Realm of Body Tempering one could only strengthen the body parts in the following order: muscle, skin, bone, organ and blood.

It was a universal law that all cultivators passed down from generation to generation until no one else had the courage to experiment or had the courage to go against the established law of cultivation.

In the end, the Realm of Body Tempering could only be cultivated in this way and in no other way, that was what was said and no one dared to question it, although there was always some curious child who asked if another part of the body could be cultivated, and was always told: 'You can do it if you want, but it only ends with an ending if you defy the heaven written laws of cultivation and that is… death.'

Those were harsh words for any child, and these cultivation laws endured over time so that the next generations would not make any mistakes by trying to defy what they called 'cultivation laws', this made anyone who had thoughts of breaking the laws that were established in ancient times feared for their lives by wanting to defy those laws.

Yan Shun in his first life was a curious child since he was born, and that was one of the questions he asked an older man and the older man replied what everyone always said, 'if he wanted to die, he should try.' Obviously, being just a child, he didn't question the elder's words and cultivated like everyone else.

But when he found the notes of the God of medicine, that doubt that he always had as a child returned.

Yan Shun with all of the Medicine God's notes began to read through all of his notes on the human body investigating each body part thoroughly.

Once he was fully informed, he began his experiments, experiments which led him to be hated by all of Heaven Divine. Although he was already hated for being a demonic cultivator, but because of his experiments he was hated even more, and this was also one of the reasons why he was persecuted by everyone.

His experiments consisted of first capturing men, women, young people and children and then experimenting how Qi reacted if it passed through different parts of people's bodies.

At first it was clearly a failure, but he did not give up, and due to his insistence in the end he had results, he discovered that the next part that he could continue to strengthen was the acupuncture points. Although of course this discovery claimed the lives of more than ten thousand people.

Although people became suspicious in the disappearance of people, they could not connect who the kidnapper was.

Time passed and after 108 years of hard research and the lives of more than 47.3 million people, he was able to decipher the complete cultivation path of the Realm of Body Tempering. By then all of Heaven Divine already knew who it was that kidnapped people from small towns.

Everyone was looking for him and wanted to kill him, they wanted explanations of why he kidnapped people, but they never got the answer, Yan Shun never spoke and they couldn't catch him to talk either.

Yan Shun once he finished his research he had to put it into practice, since he could no longer return to the first cultivation realm of the mortal realms to test his research, he had to look for someone who is starting cultivation and after a while, he had found a child and made him his disciple.

Yan Shun took his time and taught the cultivation method he had created and taught all the steps he had to take in the Realm of Body Tempering to the boy.

Since the boy was nobody and alone in life, he decided to follow and be loyal to Yan Shun, after all, his new teacher treated him with such care and kindness that he had sworn to be his right hand.

The boy grew up and after following all the instructions of his teacher, he managed to pass through the Realm of Body Tempering without any problems.

Yan Shun tested the boy by having him fight other people and animals from the same cultivation realm and determined that his new disciple was many times stronger than a normal Realm of Body Tempering cultivator.

The boy who had grown into a young, was happy and content, he wanted to show his master his progress and thank him, the boy's loyalty was even unquestioned, he was completely loyal to Yan Shun, but…

When the young man approached his teacher and told his teacher about his strength and fights, when he finished speaking, the last thing he saw was a hand that crossed his chest, the hand was none other than that of his own teacher who had him taught everything.

Yan Shun how he had finished his tests killed his disciple in cold blood, without any emotion or compassion, Yan Shun being how cautious he was after killing his disciple disintegrated the soul with the Dao of Darkness, denying any way to reincarnate or reborn from his 'disciple'.

Although reincarnation was only a myth and legend back then, Yan Shun was afraid that his enemies would be reincarnated in some way or another, although for people reincarnation was just a fairy tale, for Yan Shun it was totally different. ever since he heard such stories of people reincarnating and then coming back and taking revenge on their murderers, he decided to pursue the Dao of Reincarnation. From that moment he was also paranoid starting to disintegrate all the souls of his enemies fearing that one of them would manage to reincarnate.

This was also another reason why he was hated, Yan Shun's enemies not only ended up dead, but even their souls also ended up completely disintegrated. The families of the deceased always ended up holding a grudge against Yan Shun.

But the main question would be, why did Yan Shun waste so much time of his life to investigate something like a deadly cultivation realm that would bring him no benefit?

Well, Yan Shun always had a feeling that he would die and be reincarnated. Although it was just a feeling, he felt that something was different, inexplicable, and he knew that it wasn't just a feeling, that's why he decided to do that investigation, although he could fail, he had nothing to lose by trying.

In addition, at that time of investigation, he was injured and could not cultivate because in the dungeon that the Medicine God's legacy was in, he had fought against other cultivators for the treasures, how he had to wait to recover before he could cultivate again, and since he was someone who could not sit for years waiting to recover, he decided to investigate.

Although of course always taking precautions, that's why he had started kidnapping people from nameless towns and others, and once he was recovered it turned out that his investigation had advanced so he decided to continue with his investigation until the end.

In the end, his hunch turned out to be true, with the years of comprehending the Dao of Reincarnation, he was able to comprehend the Dao and reincarnate, and his research that could not profit him in his first life now in this new life, could be used to the fullest.

So now the main questions were, where did Yan Shun's feelings come from? Why did he decide to blindly follow a feeling and not question if he might be delusional?

Well, for all those questions there were answers, but Yan Shun didn't know them at the moment and he will have to look for them.
