Worry

 Emelda blinks up at the ceiling, body feeling like stone. 'What happened?" She wonders, fingers twitching in her wake. She peers about, finding herself alone in the infirmary. She tries to sit up, wincing slightly. A figure moves in the corner of her vision but when she looks there's nothing.

 Before she can attempt to move out of bed, there's a thunder of footsteps outside before Rainer bursts in. 

 "You're awake!" The boy cries rushing to her side, arms thrown around her, tears brimming his eyes. 

 "Whoa. Hey…" She tries to pick him up but fails until Raiden helps her put the boy in her lap. She hugs Rainer, peering up at Raiden. 

 "I guess I've been asleep for a while." She murmurs. 

 "Three days." The demon answers, tail wrapping around her waist. "I just got back with a doctor. We've been snowed in for two days."

 "Is everyone okay?" She frowns.
