Unexpected Guest

 "No sir, you're right on time." Emelda manages. 

 "Please come on in." Raiden rigidly leads the way as Emelda walks along with Prince Glenn, peering at him every now and then.

 "I'm glad to see you doing well Lady Night." He sends her a smile.

 "Oh, yes. I'm doing very well. How about you, your majesty?" She asks.

 "I've been… Alright… This castle looks much better from the last time I was here." He remarks looking it over thoughtfully before they enter the castle. The servants stiffen and swiftly get out of the way as the three make their way to the ballroom. 

 "You've been here before?" Emelda blinks in surprise. 

 "Yes. I visited it when I came to inspect the safety of the road. Then I closed it down." He says lightly. 

 "Ah. Sor-"

 "Don't be. I never wanted to close it. But we lacked the manpower to keep it safe." He assures lightly. 

 "I see…" She says awkwardly. They enter the ballroom and everyone hastily bows.
