Magic

Emelda steps forward, watching for the source of the chaos. Then the demon leaps into the air, focusing on something below. Something flies off a rooftop near him, wrapping around him.

"A net." She breathes as someone on another roof leaps at him, something glinting around them. Emelda grabs something of a nearby stall, arm changing form as she launches it at them, knocking them away.

"Ah." A shakey voice makes her look at the vendor.

"Oh, sorry. Will this cover it?" She pays the vendor as a gust hits her back.

"Emee!" Raiden gasps as she turns to him, finding him tangled in chains.

"Are you okay?" She asks using her transformed hand to break the chains.

"No. Some magic jerks started attacking me outta nowhere." He huffs in annoyance as he's freed.

"Well then. Seems we should punish them for interrupting the festivities." Tyran comments joining them as Emelda cracks her knuckles.
