It's In The Cards

It was indeed chaos once the circus had entered the castle. To Renia it felt like a block party that she once got caught up in.

She was currently holding Milo's arm to keep from getting separated as they pushed through the suddenly bustling halls. Milo greeted almost every unfamiliar face as they passed. 

'Glad he's enjoying this.' Emelda thinks, feeling a bit uneasy from the crowd of strangers. She hugs Milo's arm tighter, making him peer at her.

"Don't worry, it'll be less crowded once we reach the ringleader." He assures. 

"I'm not worried." She grumbles. 

"M'lady!" Kage's voice reaches her amidst the chaos. She peers about before spotting her knight as he pushes through the performers to be at her side. "What is going on?" He huffs in confusion. 

"Milo invited his friends over." She answers, sending the Jester a glance.

Kage sends him a frown but Milo just smiles unbothered. "I'm taking her to the ringleader. Wanna come?" He rumbles.
