He Won't Leave

 "What's this?" Glenn asks peering at the foods set before him. 

 "That's French toast. These are crepes, and that's stuffed pastries." Emelda points to each one. "The glazed fruit goes great with the French toast and crepes." She makes him a plate. 

 "I see…" He blinks before trying some and humming with a smile. "You know. Breakfast is my favorite meal. And you've just made it even better." He comments, licking his lips. "Won't you come work at the castle for me?" 

 "Hell no." She deadpans. Making him blink in surprise. "Your dad would definitely try to kill me." She reminds him.

 "Oh. Right…" He frowns with a sigh. "Then I'll just have to come spend another night." He decides. 

 "Eh…" Emelda blinks at him as he gives a smile. 

 "You'll ready a room for me won't you?" He says lightly. 

 "Ah… S-Sure." Emelda manages taken aback.

 "Pups are fed." Varen says coming in with Rainer. "Hm? Something wrong M'lady?"
