Guilt Of A Bad Friend

 "Damn… Dammit… Fool. Fool fool!" Varen paces. Jinx watches from Emelda's side, the lady of the castle now re-bandaged and in another gown.

 "There was no avoiding it. You know her personality. I'm surprised she didn't lose her temper soon." Jinx says lightly.

 "Still! It was too reckless!" He groans before stopping to look at the unconscious woman. "I'm going to shake her when she wakes." He grumbles. 

 If only he had intervened with his powers, he could've ended it easily. But this did make for an interesting scenario. He still felt bad though. "She's pushing herself too much." He covers his face.

 "She needs a vacation." Jinx agrees.

 "Vacation…" He echoes at the thought. Did he even make vacation spots in this world? Should he look or just make one? "... That could work." He mumbles with a nod. 

 "Mm." A sound from Emelda makes them both look at her as her eyes open unfocused. She looks at them and sits up with a sway.
