18 Chapter 18 – Please Attend the Class

"You are going to teach them seriously? Is that what you are saying," Luna sat on her throne-like chair, looking at the boy with snow-white hair standing in front of the window. She could feel a sense of calm when she watched his crystal-blue eyes reflecting the clearest sky, 'ah…I could watch him all day without getting bored.'

The corner of her lips curved into a smile. The weather today was a cloudy one, but when she saw his eyes, it was almost as if the world was snowing. It fascinated her. She was thinking that he was high from all the sex when he said he wanted to rule Deshante, to begin with, Seraphim Tribe was already absurdly powerful when it only ranked Third in Term of overall power. The Tribes that ranked First and Second were said to be Demi-God Tribes, it was impossible to fight against them.

Even when he was at the height of his power, it would have been nigh-impossible, let alone now that he had lost his Totem and all his power from the side-effect, 'he's already lucky that he hasn't died.'

"Yeah. I need you to give me some freedom and keep the other teachers away from me. Since they have joined the other factions, I have no plans of sharing my teaching method with them," Aurum turned his eyes towards Luna, 'I might have only thought about it for a few hours but I have a pretty good teaching plan for those kids. Since there are no papers, people in this time have to memorise what they learn. It's better to teach them things they remember their body. I should probably scrap the plan. That means we have a million points. Hm…how should I use the points? No, I can think about that later. For now, I need to get to know my students.'

"Where are you going to teach them? Or rather, where do you want me to keep them away from?" (Luna)

"The Woods. I am going to use the deep woods to train them," Aurum looked out the window, towards the south where the woods were.

"The woods! No, deep woods?! Does that mean near the valley? Absolutely not! There is no way you can protect them with your current level of powers! The Silver Bank Beasts ran amok there! There was even one that reached Gold Rank which Valkyrie recently put down! There is no telling what manner of beasts might spill from the valley!" Luna jumped to her feet, shaking her head, "You can't!"

The valley in the south, and the mountain in the north, were two hotspots where the strong beasts gathered. This place was inhabitable, and that is why Luna, who wanted to bring about the change was pushed to build her Nameless Tribe here, where the other Tribes had to be careful to reach. The only ones who could even bring about the students here was Luna, and those she offered her protection.

"If you are thinking that getting my Protection would keep you safe, then that is not how it works. Once you hunt with my Protection on you, they will come at you with all their force!"

"Don't worry about it," Aurum scratched his head, "It's hard to explain. It's even harder to show. My Totem Spirit might have left me…but it did leave a few of its abilities. I am pretty sure I am going to be fine. If you are that worried, then you can come watch."

"I have better things than to watch you!" Luna covered her face in exasperation. She sat down on the chair, looking at him with a worried look on her face, "Fine. If need be, then I am going to sit in your class."

She tilted her head with a smile, "I am curious too what you are going to teach."

"Right, there is something else I needed to know," Aurum stepped away from the window, to walk back towards his classroom when he asked something like an afterthought, "which one among the four is working for you?"

"Huh…huh…What?! Who said any one of them was working for me!" Luna fluttered her eyebrows a few times, realising what she was asking when a panicked look appeared on her face.

"Oh, so you are that incompetent," Aurum shrugged, "Good to know."

"Who said I am income—" Luna stopped in the middle of the sentence, seeing the smug smile on his lips. She puffed her cheeks, "you are not cute at all!"

"Come on, don't give me that pout."

"Mmmm!!!" Luna puffed her cheeks even harder, pouting even more. She even stepped away from her table and stepped right in front of him to show him her pout, making sure he could see nothing but her pout.

"Pff…hahaha," Aurum leaned forward, abruptly planting a kiss on her lips, "you are cute…for someone so old—"

Aurum words stuck in his throat, seeing the glare from her that was goading him to complete his sentence before she sent him into recovery for a few months, "Come to my class."

Luna curled her lips, still pouting, "Fine! Fine! You better show me something good!"

She placed her palm on his back, pushing him forward, feeling his muscles on the palm of her fingers, "this is not fair. You should wear something on your upper body. How about I bring a shirt for you? Maybe a few clothes! You know there are so many types!"

"Oh, is there someone who sews these clothes," Aurum curiously looked back from the corner of his eyes, "if I draw a few designs then can you get them for me?"

"Clothes made from threads are costly. You have no shame asking me to bring more clothes for you," Luna curiously watched him, "you would even take living expense from me before."

"Let's just say that it is the price of sitting in my class and learning," Aurum mischievously blinked, shifting to the side. He pulled her in front of him, wanting nothing more than to kiss her when she hastened her footsteps, teasingly smiling back at him. She placed her finger on her lip, "are you trying to sell something else?"

Aurum held back the smile that coming to his lips, watching her flirt, the mischievous smile in her eyes, on her lips, "if I am not careful. Then I might just fall for you."

Luna abruptly stopped, unable to think for a second before she snapped out of her daze, only to squeeze his nose, "Don't!"

"Why? Is there someone else you love?" Aurum slapped her hand away. He pushed her against the wall, pressing his forearm beside her head, peering down into her eyes.

"Uh…I might be," Luna circled her locks around her fingers, looking away from him.

'Please. As if you have the time to fall in love with all the work you have to do for the Tribe. If there was anyone that you loved, then they would be close by—'

"Damn that hurts!" He turned his eyes down to look at his feet which she was slammed her heel on.

"You were thinking something very rude! Weren't you," Luna glared at him with her upturned eyes. She pushed his hand away, walking towards his classroom, "should you even be flirting with me? You already have your little sister to take care of. Have you thought what she would think if she saw you trying to seduce me like this?"

"Eve…" Aurum crossed his arms, walking towards the one corner of the building. There were many empty rooms, mostly for the students, who gained Totem during their first hunt. Many of the facilities were not in use. Though his classroom was in one corner of the building. On the surface it was a discriminatory behaviour from the Academy towards him, who was Tribeless. On the other hand, it was done by Luna to make sure he could teach in peace without being interfered with or spied on.

He could already sense her as he reached closer to the classroom. Luna stopped in front of him, and he behind her, looking at the golden-hair, ruby eyed girl who was the epitome of beauty and a bundle of elegance if anyone had seen one.

"Head Professor, Principal," Eve darted her eyes between the two, seeing them so close to one another. A surprise flashed past between her eyes, looking at them with a doubtful gaze, "Principal…what brings you here."

"I am only here to watch," Luna waved her hand, walking past the other students, looking back at them as they all looked towards her with curiosity or sense of recognition since she recruited some of them.

Aurum walked over to Eve, placing his palm on her back, "Now, let's start with introductions. Shall we? Why don't you tell me your names and Tribes."
