2 DON'T FALL IN LOVE

Azren looked up at the Lord, and his expression was beyond frightened. He admitted that he had made countless mistakes in the past 200 years, and he had been punished many times because of his mistakes.

But, today was the first time he would receive a punishment right from the King of Hell. The King of Hell surprisingly had been a benevolent boss for him in the past 200 years. Even though he had made lots of mistakes, Lucifer had never punished him personally and let his subordinate punish him instead.

His mistakes actually were not fatal to the extent of causing some chaos in Hell, but when he made those small mistakes continuously and couldn't even improve himself, then his accumulated mistakes were greater than the fatal mistakes made by other demons.

Perhaps that was the reason why Lucifer decided to judge him personally today. Perhaps the king was too tired of his incapability as a demon.

"I admit my mistakes, My Lord. I will accept any punishment from you."

Azren didn't have any option other than to accept anything from the Demon Lord. He was powerless compared to the king, he was still so young compared to the king, and his power was not even one-tenth from the king's power. If he dared to argue, then the king probably would shorten his life without mercy.

Even though demons were strong beings, they still could die due to several reasons. And one of the reasons was Lucifer's wrath. The King of Hell had the power to kill his own kind easily.

"I will seal your demonic power from now on, Azren."

The young demon was just thinking about how weak his power was compared to the Demon Lord's, but the Lord suddenly said something that felt like plucking his soul from his body.

"W-what do you mean, My Lord?" He timidly asked as he looked up at the powerful creature ahead of him.

The King suddenly got up from his seat and waved his long cape arrogantly. All demons in the hall looked nervous as they looked up at their king. The king even got up from his seat, so the punishment for the young demon must be so severe.

"I will send you to the human world to learn, Azren. You will disguise yourself as a human, and you won't have your power with you during your punishment. I have an important mission for you in the humans' world, so you have to complete your mission if you want to avoid my Black Hole Power."

Black Hole Power. Other demons in the hall gasped upon hearing the king's words. The king indeed didn't punish the young demon with his Black Hole Power right away, and that was such a benevolent act from their usual cruel and heartless king.

Even so, since the king still mentioned the Black Hole Power despite giving Azren a lighter punishment, probably the so-called 'lighter punishment' was only the king's play. The king probably just wanted to torment the young demon first before he would completely punish the youth.

The Black Hole punishment was not a rare kind of punishment given by Lucifer. When Lucifer was so done with his followers who kept disappointing him, he would use his power to create a black hole that would swallow them in. The black hole was just a gate for the demons' death. The real torture that would bring them to the real death was inside the black hole.

All demons in the hall had expected that the king would mention the Black Hole Power today, and they guessed it right. The young demon named Azren deserved to be punished with that power.

"What kind of mission do you want to give me, My Lord? How I suppose to do the mission without my power?"

Azren felt like he couldn't see the light anymore upon hearing the king's decision. He glanced around for a moment, but other demons just gave them a skeptical look without any intention to help him out.

"The mission is so simple, and you don't need to use your demonic power to complete your mission," the king stated before he raised his hand, and from the hand appeared a red light that shot toward the ceiling of the hall.

The ceiling was made of a circle shape, and the red light gradually covered up the shape. After the light fully coated the shape, a moving image surfaced on the ceiling covered by red light.

All demons, including Azren, looked up at the ceiling simultaneously.

"He's your mission," the Demon King spoke again. "He's a young boy living in a city. He will turn 18 this year and just debuted as an idol. His character is childish, rude, and easily gets persuaded by others. Your job is to lead his way to Hell. Make him one of my followers, Azren."

Azren didn't respond to the king's words as he still looked up at the moving image above his head. The human looked so young with his round eyes and smooth skin like a baby. His hair was at ear-length and silver in color, and his eyes were bright blue like the ocean. He looked like a kindergarten kid in Azren's eyes.

"Are you still listening to me, Azren?"

Lucifer's question brought him back from his reverie, and he shifted his gaze from the ceiling to the king once again. "Yes, My Lord. I'm still listening to you."

The king nodded curtly before he continued, "He's very easy to be persuaded and provoked, so you only need words to lead him to Hell. Don't let him follow the angels' guide toward God. He has to be one of Lucifer's followers!"

Azren nodded stiffly despite feeling heavy in his heart.

"And I need to make sure you will follow some rules before I send you to the human world," the king spoke once again. "The first rule is you can't reveal your identity as a demon, and the second rule is you have to follow my orders that will be relayed to you by some other demons. Do you understand, Azren?"

The rules were simple, so Azren immediately nodded his head as a response.

"Oh, there's one more rule that's as important as the two rules," Lucifer spoke again as he gazed at the young demon intently. "Don't you ever fall in love with a human, Azren!"
