Chapter Twenty-Four: Wedding Crasher

Alice sat in her room as a glowing light formed in front of her.

'Why's this so difficult?' She stopped using 'Creation' and the light disappeared, revealing a small black snake, with a scales in a diamond pattern. 'I thought these Jackal Snakes were much larger?'

'Soul Tame' She tamed the snake, although it was still very violent.

- Host doesn't have skill level to make them adults. The largest Host can currently make them is ten feet in length, and three feet in width. Current Snake: One foot in length and six inches in width. -

'Is that really just the size before they become adults?' Alice held the snake by it's head as she looked at a book in her hand.

'The Black Diamond Jackal Snake is an asexual group of snakes, which is very aggressive as an adolescent, but defensive and territorial as an adult. The largest adolescent Black Diamond is eight feet in length, and two feet wide. Adults grow to be thirty feet in length and ten in width.'

'A Black Diamond is one of the three quickest snakes, being able to kill ten humans in under five seconds. Unless exposed to light or light magic, it will continue on its massacre. As an adolescent, it's scales are more tender and can be pierced by most weapons, not including blunt objects.'

'Once a Black Diamond grows, it immediately lays ten to thirty eggs, which take three months to hatch. When growing, a Black Diamond has the chance to become a Diamond Queen. A Diamond Queen can be as large as ninety feet in length, and twenty feet in width. It can lay as many as one hundred eggs.'

Alice closed the book and looked at the snake in her hand. She turned its head to her arm, releasing it. It sinked it's fangs into her arms, releasing a black venom that poured off of her arm.

When it hit the ground, it became a bit corroded and turned into black smoke. 'I should make a skill using that.' She let go of the snake and watched it slither away through a crack in the floor. She looked through the book again.

'A Black Diamond Jackal Snake, after hatching, takes seven days to grow.'

Alice closed the book and put it into her storage ring. 'Lets hope the modification I made makes it an adult much faster.'

'Stats please, System. It's been too long. I don't remember all my skills.'

Kill All - Able to mark multiple targets (5000) at a time and begins killing them one by one. The targets can never escape this and don't know when they will be next. Unique Combat skill

Save - Able to heal all injuries, sicknesses, or diseases without causing pain. Unique Combat skill

Break - Destroy the mind of target(s) and crush their willpower. Unique Torture skill

Soul Sap - Steal a targets soul, broken or not. Unique skill

Angel's Kiss - Kiss the target and take away 100,000 HP. This will instant kill anything lower than a High-Devil. Unique skill

Item Creation - Create items with mana or absorbed souls. Unique skill

Broken Wings - Creates broken wings to attach to a target. The wings than begin tearing through the new owner's back until it reaches the other side and disintegrates. Torture skill

Summon - Create and summon any creature through a summon circle. Unique skill

Soul Tamer - The ability to manipulate others souls into being absolutely loyal to yours. Personal skill

A few more days passed, and Alice heard people talking about a black shadow moving though the city.

"This isn't good for the wedding. If it's what the guards think it is..."

"How would a Black Diamond even get in the city. I say Prince Kyle is just messing with Hero Prince Jason."

"Maybe..."

A man walked up to Alice and showed her a glass. "Excuse me, Miss! Would you like to buy a set of vintage glass cups? I'd say it's a great gift for the wedding!"

Alice shook her head. "No, I'm good. I already have a pretty great wedding gift." She began walking away and began to hum.

The man looked at her. "Strange mask..."

Inside the castle, a knock arrived at a door. "Lady Cindy, everyone is ready. Are you?" A maid's voice came through the door.

"Yes." The woman wore a finely made white dress and held a bouquet of white flowers in her hands.

She walked out of the room and followed the maid to a large door. Lady Cindy took a deep breath and nodded to the guard in charge of the doors.

The doors pushed open, and everyone in attendance stood, turning towards the door. Cindy began to walk down the aisle as birds chirped outside. She looked towards an empty spot towards her mother and smiled sadly.

After arriving next to Jason, the doors shut as the priest began to speak.

Alice flew over the castle, high in the sky. She noticed that outside, man tables were set up with food, and a few had large cakes on them.

Servants and slaves walked around, making sure everything was ready for the guests and newt wedded couple.

After waiting for twenty to thirty minutes, she saw two doors open up, as people poured out of the castle, following Jason and his new wife. They smiled brightly at each other.

'You don't deserve a happy ending, Hero...' Alice clenched her fists as she breathed in deeply. 'Time for some dramatics.'

She fell back on her wings, quickly picking up speed as she fell through the sky. Once she was close enough, she steadied herself, and walked out of an alleyway.

The people outside froze seeing Alice, before stepping out of her way. The guards outside the gate, seeing her wings, immediately tried sounding an alarm.

They were somehow looking at their own feet as Alice touched the gate and their bodies collapsed.

'Explosion' The gate blew open, breaking into thousands of pieces, shocking the people inside.

Alice walked in dragging one of the guards bodies. Jason wore two rings. His wedding ring, and a storage ring. His body was immediately covered in silver and golden armor, shining as bright as the sun.

"You choose to show up today, Fallen Angel? Isn't it the perfect wedding gift?" Jason tried to mock Alice.

Alice walked over to one of the tables, putting away her wings. "You try to mock me, Hero Prince. Sorry about the gate, they wouldn't open it." A guard threw himself at her as she grabbed a knife. She immediately petrified him. She took the knife and cut the cakes. "Oh... right. The newly wedded are supposed to cut the cake." She grabbed a slice and threw it a Jason. "This is wedding crashing, right? It doesn't matter."

Jason stepped in front of Cindy. "What do you want, Fallen Angel?"

Alice smiled under her mask. "I want one thing..." She raised her hand as she focused on Cindy. "...I want to do what you did to me."

Emperor Stravos watched from the sides. "Jason! Take Cindy out of-"

'Corrosive Smoke' Alice lowered her hand as Cindy began to cough.

- Corrosive Smoke; Skill: Create toxic black smoke within any number of targets, which only Host can get rid of. No amount of magic can save someone. Unique Skill. -

Alice began to laugh. "I wonder, will you save everyone here, or just her?" Suddenly everyone other than the imperial family also began to cough, eventually coughing up black smoke. When it made contact, it began to corrode what it touched.

Jason dropped his axe as Cindy fell over, catching her. "What did you do? Father, call the priest!"

The priest however, was also on the ground in the hallway, already dead. His skin was melted and something sat on him. It was a long black shadow, that had diamond patterns on it.

A few more showed up next to the melting corpse as they slithered outside. The Emperor summoned a sword. "Black Diamonds? The priest is dead, Jason!" He backed out of the hallway slowly, seeing the snakes stop right before the light. "There's at least forty of them. Luckily, non of them are adults."

Jason looked up at Alice with pure hatred in his eyes. "W-What do you want? Name your price... just..."

Alice laughed more. "You think you can give me what I want? I want you to suffer, Hero Prince. Like Princess Alice and to when she watched you kill her father." A Black Diamond was slithering up and wrapping around Alice. Although it was thin, it was around sixty feet long. It hissed at it looked at Jason.

"You control them, too?" Emperor Stravos asked.

Jason opened him mouth. "Alice has been dead for over ten years."

Alice removed her mask and walked towards Jason. "Wrong, Hero Prince. Although the Alice you knew did die with her father." She grabbed his arm, completely crushing his forearm.

As he screamed, she grabbed his shoulder, immediately pushing him against the ground, breaking his ribs, and causing internal bleeding.

"You killed my father, Jason. You took everything without even knowing I was alive." She grabbed him by the throat as she took the cake knife, slowly pushing it into his eye. "If you'd known, would you have still killed him?"

He continued to scream. Alice pulled out the knife after twisting it a few time, shoving the blade into his knee. "Don't worry, I won't kill you."

Jason's vision became blurry as he saw the snake on her arm slither towards Cindy. He passed out.

Alice looked at the girl. 'Save' She quit coughing up black smoke and stared at Jason. "Jason!" When she tried crawling to him, Alice grabbed her hair.

"Since he passed out, I'm going to have to make you hurt even more. I hope you understand." She put her foot on Cindy's back, pushing her to the ground. "Let's see how this works."

She grabbed her hair with both hands, and began to pull, slowly ripping the top of her head off. Her scalp ripped off, revealing the top of her skull. She screamed in pain as her dress was stained with her blood.

She looked at Alice, who motioned her head for the snake to do something. It hissed and slithered around to Cindy's face, slowly slithering inside her.

She felt the snake biting inside her body releasing something. "Don't worry, you'll wake up. It'll be... like... this..." Cindy heard Alice's voice as a nice warmth took over her body.

Alice clicked her tongue as she dropped Cindy's scalp.

Emperor Stravos and the other imperials began to shake. "A-Alice. I never w-wanted to-"

Alice walked over to him. "Where's Queen Victoria?"

He dropped his sword and fell to his knees. "P-Please don't kill me like that girl."

Alice shook her head and smiled. "Where's your wife?"

"S-She disappeared while traveling a while ago. No one has seen her since."

Alice patted his face. "Thank you. I promise it won't hurt." 'Angel's Kiss.' She kisses his cheek and he fell over, lifeless.

Suddenly, a white wolf jumped at Alice, trying to pin her to the ground. Prince Kyle slashes his sword at her. "How dare you take my father's life!"

She caught the sword, shattering it and took a piece of the blade, shoving it in the wolf's eye.

It howled in pain as Kyle threw a dagger at her. "This doesn't involve you, Prince Kyle. You didn't kill my father." She dodged the dagger.

"Neither did mine!" He threw another dagger which embedded itself in her stomach. 'Got her!'

Alice looked at the dagger, and slowly pulled it out. "That stings." 'Break'

Kyle's eyes became dim as he slowly fell to his knees, dropping the broken hilt. Alice sighed. Using 'Wing Slash' she launched a pair of broken wings at his throat, immediately decapitating him.

She used 'Save' on Jason and Cindy as the Black Diamond Snakes went throughout the castle, killing anyone who wasn't imperial or didn't where a collar.

Alice dragged the Prince and his wife through the corridors, and Demons that saw her began to follow. They arrived at the throne room, and some Demons pushed the doors open for Alice.

Walking in, she threw the two against the throne as they woke up. "Say, Jason. If I take off a slave's collar, they'll die right?" She motioned for one of the Demons to walk over to her.

Jason nodded, unable to forget the pain he went through. He looked over at Cindy, who's body shook violently with fear.

Alice grabbed the Demon's collar, ripping it off and immediately using 'Save'. "She doesn't look dead to me."

The Demons immediately began lining up as she removed each and every collar. They armed themselves with weapons found in the armory, who's guards were killed by the snakes.

All the Black Diamond Jackal Snakes made their way back to the Queen Snake, which wrapped itself around Alice's right arm.

Jason tried to move, but when he looked at his old friend, his body refused to listen to him. "What will you do now? Destroy the Empire?"

Alice nodded. "Yes. How else will I take everything from you? Although...I won't be the one doing it."

Jason moves his head a little. "What do you mean?"

Alice smiled as she sat on the throne, chaining Jason's neck. "I'm going to summon my own Hero."
