1 The Summon

It was cloudy that day as the sunset just under the mountains, barely peeking over the hills creating a map of oranges and reds of different shades over the sky, and the breeze caused the trees to shake ever so slightly, and the grass to slowly Cascade over the hills. At the foot of these mountains there was a valley with a waterfall that caused the quiet air to be full of noise and the river below to rush, ever so quietly, passed the trees and the small cottage that was there by the riverside. inside the fire was lit, that kept the small family of three ever so warm. Kai and Maya had a small child many years ago. Tyler was now at the age of manhood, 15, in this time of Kings, and was wandering through the forest nearby. He had black flowing hair and a very defined jawline, his eyes were sky blue and he walked in a manner that made him seem much older than he was. That was when he was blinded by a white light. When the white light dissapeared he was standing on clouds.

Tyler looked up and saw the night sky, white dots scattered across it, and wondered 'Where am I', seemingly unfazed by the sudden change in his surroundings. He was answered by a booming voice that seemed to echo in his head, 'You have been chosen by us to help a desperate other world.' the voice was calming yet powerful. Tyler wondered 'Why me.' and was answered yet again by the voice 'You are pure of heart and calm like the summer's breeze. Do not worry young one, for you will have help. The screen will give you power beyond your wildest dreams.' Suddenly a white flash momentarily blinded him and when he woke up he found himself in the middle of a forest clearing. A feminine voice appeared in his head and told him 'I am the screen'
