1 Reincarnation

I remember a very good saying I heard somewhere.

The most painful thing in life is not when a person is alive and there is not enough money to spend. The most painful thing is when a person dies, and the money is not spent.

And now, I faced the most painful thing.

My very old relatives came to visit as they had no descendants of their own. I was about to become heir to the inheritance of around 1 billion $ from his great-grandfather, staging a real-life version of those 'Richest Man in XX City' type of films.

As a result, when I just blinked my eyes, Boom! Reincarnation Baby!

From a future rich heir to a large fortune, gaining a large amount of wealth from thin air, I turned into a 'mutant' with gills on my chest.

Oh wait, according to this world, I should be called a supe.

"This isn't right!"

Roy, who had been in a daze for a whole night, still couldn't accept the reality.

"No, how can I reincarnate? I didn't even think of being transmigrated! And which shitty world did I travel to? To the world of The Boys; which shitty character did I take over? The Deep!! I really #@%#$T%@#——"

Roy held his head and cried in his heart.

My billions!! I can spend more than a billion without any worries for more than 3 lifetimes!!

And now, just with a snap, it's gone?!

Okay, okay, don't let me know who reincarnated me. If I know then- then-

I will kneel and beg them to let me go back!

There's no other way, don't blame me for being so timid, imaginary audience, I can figure out using just my toes, that the person who can allow me to reincarnate is either a Great God or a 'high-dimensional creature' that is difficult for ordinary humans to understand.

I am just an ordinary superhero now, and I can't even defeat the Homelander who is the strongest in this world, let alone some ROB who made me transmigrate.

If I meet the Great God, the most important thing is to beg the other part to let me go back to the original world.

After all, that's more than a billion!!

MORE THAN A BILLION!!

"I'm tired, destroy the world, I want to die…"

Lazily lying on the bed, Roy blankly stared at the ceiling and began thinking about the possibility of going back to his world if he committed suicide.

But in the end, his life-saving nature, which could also be called cowardly if you have low eq, made him give up this very suggestive idea. As the alarm clock sounded, his mind, which had been in a daze all night finally began sorting out the information he knew about the world and himself.

First of all, it is clear that the world I traveled to is the world of the American TV Series "The Boys".

An American TV Series that shows satirical dark versions of Marvel and DC superheroes.

Roy had watched this TV series before reincarnation and also saw the spin-off series "Gen V", so he understood the general plot of this 'Boys' world.

To summarize and oversimplify, this is a world where superheroes are promoted like stars.

Superheroes are very well known here in comparison to other similar worlds. They appear on TV, receive endorsements, shoot commercials, and make movies and TV shows based on themselves. Usually go out to fight the bad guys, brush up their presence in front of the public, and occasionally take pictures and sign autographs with fans on the roadside.

Sounds peaceful, right?

But it's actually quite the opposite.

The reason why superheroes are known as superheroes is that they have a unique sense; a sense of justice, a sense of responsibility, and a good amount of self-control to remain unmoved in the face of temptations.

Even if they don't have superpowers, people with these characteristics can be very outstanding in their fields in life.

In comparison with these 'legit' superheroes, the superheroes in this world are just 'ordinary people' with superpowers, and they even have a lower sense of morality than a normal ordinary person.

They don't have the qualities one thinks that a superhero should have. On the surface, they side with justice and appear to be spokespersons of justice, but in private they do things that would be unacceptable to any normal person.

Not to mention all the debauchery and disgusting fetishes.

Most of these 'supes' don't have any concern for human life, and they don't feel guilty about killing innocent bystanders on the street. The only concern they have is the trouble it would be to deal with Public Relations afterward.

Relying on having superpowers and being 'unique', they force others to do things they don't want to do. Assault, robbing, indiscriminate killing of innocents, destroying public property…

These so-called superheroes have done all the bad that can be thought of behind the surface of being cute justice partners. If you take away the title of superhero from them, even ten death penalties wouldn't be enough.

Of course, now that we're talking about these superheroes, we need to focus on the strongest of them all —— Homelander.

Homelander, whose prototype is Superman from DC, is currently one of the strongest superhumans in the world of "The Boys".

On the surface, he pretends to be righteous, but the fact is that he is full of violence in his heart.

He doesn't allow anything that he doesn't like to happen, and once things are out of his control, Homelander will get angry and use his power to eliminate those who make things unpleasant for him without caring about any consequences.

And such a person has become a national hero in the hearts of the people. From this, one can understand how shitty this world is.

"Well, fortunately, I am also a superhero. It's good to join them if you can't beat them."

I thought to myself, feeling a bit amused.

What person I transmigrated in is such a superhero, and like Homelander, he is a member of the world's best superhero team, The Seven.

The hero's title is "The Deep", or you can call him "Aquaman Lite".

As is the style of this world, the prototype of his character is Arthur, the Aquaman from DC, who has the ability to breathe underwater and talk to marine life.

If you compare him to those superheroes whose hands are stained with blood, the character I have inserted into can be considered quite innocent.

Although he has done many bad things, such as forcing Starlight to give him a blowjob…, at least he didn't kill innocent people indiscriminately.

Not a good person, but not that bad either.

He is one of the few superheroes in "The Boys" that can be considered somewhat 'normal'.

Um, if that unique and disgusting fetish is not included…

To be honest, I am very unwilling to become such a character, not only because of the things he did in the show, but most importantly because of the gills on the chest.

That's the key to being able to breathe underwater in the deep oceans: a pair of special organs that look like fish gills.

The previous Deep didn't like it, and now I don't like it either.

But what can I do even if I don't like it? Reincarnation is unreasonable. I can't just tell the Great God behind his reincarnation to allow him to change into a character I like, such as Homelander or something…

If I really saw the God of Reincarnation, I would just kneel all the way Japanese style and beg him to be sent back.

More than a billion…

No! I can't think about it anymore. The more I think about it, the more my heart aches.

As the saying goes, take care of things as they come.

Since I have come to this world and it seemed like I won't be able to go back for some time, might as well just stay in this world with peace of mind.

Anyway, I am a member of The Seven and a superhero. As long as I don't do things that invite death like in the original work, I can live well in this world.

Although more than a billion were lost!

Although I changed from a to-be billionaire who could lie down and eat until death to a Superhero Star who needs to work hard!

But after all, I also gained a set of superpowers, didn't I? Of course, it would be better if there were no gills on the chest…

Roy comforted himself in his heart.

No, you shouldn't call him Roy now.

The name is now Kevin, Kevin Moskowitz.

Hi, Author here. I am new at writing and just practicing right now. Would like if you give some feedback. This is just the prologue, so might be a bit short(Tell me if the length is alright).

My first 3 chapters are gonna be first-person POV from the MC and maybe other characters. Then I'll write 1-2 third-person POV to see which one sits more comfortably with me and for the readers too.

Well, I think that's it for now, so have a great day/night whichever you have :)
