Chapter 88
Lisa was surprised to find both Sam and Luke at her door. After she greeted them, she looked them over, and invited them inside her small room. She sat at the desk while Sam and Luke each took a chair at the small round table in the room.
"Okay, Luke, when was the last time Autumn was seen alive?" Sam began.
"It's been two weeks ago today to be exact, before she went to school. She lives with her mother and I get her every other weekend. She never met up with her best friend, Christy. They always walk to school together. I've talked to Christy and she denies knowing anything. She assumed Autumn was sick or something, but when she didn't answer her cell phone after school she became concerned and called Autumn's mother. Her name's Angela. I've talked to Angela myself till I'm blue in the face. She denies she knows anything about Autumn's whereabouts, but there's something that's not right there."
"Like what, Luke?"
