Chapter 167
After a quick shower and dressing, Elyse and Dalton went on deck and started their own surveillance of the large boat docked at slip eight. They counted the seconds it took for one guard to leave the boat and the other to return. Not enough time to get anywhere or do anything.
Dalton wanted an update from Dominick Sanchez, the police officer who was working on the inside. Dom picked up the call on the first ring.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Dom, Dalton Emberling here. Wanted to check in and see how things are going. Can you talk?"
"Sure. I'm in my car. I have some information to pass on to you, so it's good timing."
"Great! What do you have?" Dalton locked eyes with Elyse, who came closer to hear Dom on the phone.
