Chapter 104
Sam stole a car that had been planted by the police along the street and headed back to the pool hall. The fire company had been called by neighbors and had cooled off the car and any remaining pieces of car lying about. He parked his newly possessed car and started picking up the pieces of the burned car and putting it into the body of what was left of the crispy metal that had belonged to Lisa. He would call a tow truck to have it hauled away to a junk yard somewhere.
He made his way to the back door and was again greeted by the gun barrel through the door. When he identified himself and entered the room it was almost full of other members. Most of them he recognized, but there were a few he didn't. He wondered where the new members came from, then thought maybe they worked the streets or lived somewhere else. Maybe Larry had called a meeting about the bombing.
