1 The Dead Zone and Zalio

Hundreds of years ago, there was a strong nation, called Zalio. Zalio was ruled by a family, consisting of a mother and her 3 kids. The oldest was a boy named Alsace, who had lighter skin than his younger twin sisters Christine and Val, who despised each other growing up. They would always argue and fight, so much so that their mother had to make Alscase play with Val to stop her from fighting with her twin.

When the twins turned 16, the girls' mother had Christine become the new ruler of Zalio. Knowing that Christine would set the nation into chaos as ruler, Val went to her older brother to ask what to do.

"You can't do anything." Alscase said as he flipped the page of a book he was reading, "You make one wrong move and Sister will burn you alive without hesitation."

A year later, and news had been announced that the former Queen had been assassinated. Christine blamed her twin for the murder of their mother, and the people were outraged. The next day, in the castle, Val barged into Christine's throne room and started yelling, claiming that she was innocent and that Christine was too immature and childish to be a ruler.

The twins yelled for hours, before Val slapped Christine and left the country. The angered woman built a maze underground so her sister wouldn't find her, and made her own civilization far away from Zalio.

It was a couple of years, and hundreds of reports of missing people before Christine found out where Val was. Christine happily told her soldiers to burn her sister's civilization to the ground and bring Val back home. The soldiers did what they were told and burnt the town to ashs and ruins, as well as burning the civilians alive in a large bonfire at the center of the burning town.

Val was brought back to Zalio and was burned on a stake, screaming in agony as the flames licked her skin, the heat of the fire biting down into her flesh, turning her brown skin to a charred black. Once her twin was nothing but a pile of ashes and bones, Christine announced that anyone who left Zalio to go to The Dead Zone, as she called it, will die. No one with a sane mind ever thought of going over to The Dead Zone for years.

However, hundreds of years later, a zombie girl named Daybreak snuck out of Zalio and rebuilt what was left of The Dead Zone. Others soon followed her and The Dead Zone became alive again.

Some say that Val's spirit is still out there, haunting Zalio and cursing those who know her story. But those are just ghost stories to scare children.
