Awakening

At the beginning there was nothing but time.

A time before solar systems, galaxies, universes and the laws that regulated them.

There was time.

.

.

Time that flowed regardless of everything. This was simply how it worked.

Over time, the nothingness that only consisted of time began to develop.

.

.

.

The space that was empty and void of colour began to change and take the form of darkness.

.

.

.

.

The darkness soon evolved and began to spread. It covered the once empty and colorless nothingness.

.

.

.

.

The darkness spread throughout all the ends of the nothingness but could never reach the end.

.

.

.

.

So it amounted to nothing.

.

.

.

.

Time passed again and forgot about the darkness.

.

.

.

.

.

Soon the stars emerged from the darkness to enter into the blank nothingness. They were bright and gave birth to light.

.

.

The light began to spread as well and the stars that were throughout the nothing, lit up the darkness that covered it! This started a sensation that gave creation to a instinct.

.

.

An instinct that told the the darkness that it should protect itself and soon it fought back to dull the brightness.

.

.

The stars soon developed this and they soon fought back as well. As they were many stars they also fought amongst themselves, however as it did not benefit or harm them. It came to an end as a result.

They had evolved.

.

.

They grew to be aware of the one common enemy and began to work together as one.

.

.

There was one singular purpose.

.

.

.

TO ELIMINATE THE DARKNESS!

They began to fight together and soon pushed the darkness near its end.

.

.

.

However once again it amounted to nothing.

.

.

.

.

Time passed once again and the darkness held on.

.

.

.

.

Time passed again and again. This time there were different things that were created. Beings made of light from the stars that became conscious. This was an overstatement, it could only see would was happening and for the thinking aspect it had only one thing on its mind which was to eliminate the darkness.

Time passed.

The Stars grew brighter.

The darkness shrunk.

.

The darkness is beginning to get engulfed.

The darkness had not once obtained any form of sentience. It had no need for it unlike the stars which had relied on it to join together.

Time passed.

The once bright stars have begun to crumble and burn themselves out, leaving behind nothing but light.

The darkness is now a pitiful existence.

Time passed once again.

The darkness that was once so great had been degraded to nothing but a shadow. It amounted to nothing... or it was supposed to amount to that however the darkness fought on.

Time passed and the darkness was no where to be seen.

It amounted to nothing.....

As the light loomed over the darkness.

Its shadow. It was now a little shadow.

At the mercy of light. At its last moments it had amounted to nothing.... however there was an interference.

Something interfered.

The darkness that had no sentience.

It had awoken.

.

It gained consciousness.
