chapter 7- Science

****POV RANDOM GIRL****(no she will not be important….or is she?)

"Yeah, what about Tyrone? Do you think he's hot? Right Lise," a girl asked.

"Wait that Tyrone?" Lise replied.

"Yeah"

" Eew NO!!! He's ugly and a pervert. You need to get your head fixed, Allison," Lise shrieked.

"Eh, whatever you're missing out '' Allison said.

"Yeah ok" I retorted.

"Oh yeah, where's Miranda?" Allison questioned.

I turned my head around to see if Miranda was behind us since she would lose herself in a world of imagination, never speaking nor listening...sometimes I envy her. But what greeted me instead was something I never thought I'd see. It was a guy around probably in the same grade as me. He was walking behind us. I noticed down below he had a big...no wait a massive boner!!!

He looked up, meeting me in the eye. He had dark reddish wait maybe goldish eyes. His face apart from his eyes was blank, almost as if he had no emotion... I rotated my head back towards Allison.

Did he notice me looking down? I started blushing for a second until I could gather my thoughts.

"Miranda isn't here. Maybe she went somewhere," I told Allison.

"Maybe...but first what's up with your face? You are as red as a tomato," she examined.

"Nothing, it's just a little hot" I quickly told telling a blatant lie

"Well now, if you think of it is hot in here," she thought about it

Did she really buy the lie? I understand how. While I was thinking, I thought of that guy... He was enormous; like how did it even fit in there without bursting. As we were walking my face kept getting redder and redder.

"Hey, Lise, maybe you should go to the nurse's office. You don't look so good." Allison worried a little.

"Ah yeah, maybe I should," I said without paying attention.

"Maybe you have that disease. '' Allison started laughing.

"Haha, very funny. There's no way I would have it. It has been dead for about twenty years." I sighed at her joke.

Anyway, who was that?

****POV CHANGE NICO****

Uhh... I stopped walking when I met that girl in the face. She was really cute. Then I felt a trapping force on my ****, realizing I still had a boner. HOLD UP! Did she see it I shouted in my head? Is that why she quickly turned around? Hopefully not that would be so embarrassing. The bell ranged soon after I stopped; students flooded the hallways I had to force my way through.

3 minutes later,

"what took you so long, you faggot," Nilam said angrily.

"Well, nice to see you too, Asian boy." I retorted.

He then talked to his "girlfriend" who walked in. They weren't officially dating, despite that, they were clearly into each other. She strode to his side and sat down on his lap.

"Get a room, you two," both Adam, David, and I said, laughing at the happy and horny couple.

"go suck a dick," Nilam said, trying to make a good comeback.

I said "no you" back to him loudly as that was the first thing that came to mind

"..."

In complete and total silence, everyone else in the classroom heard what I said. They were looking at us confused. That silence went on until the teacher entered the room. She soon started the lesson.

"Okay, I don't feel like a doing lesson, so today we are going to do your favorite quizzes," she shouted.

ugh, I don't enjoy doing quizzes because I'm almost always at the top and few people actually do them.

"What is the number of electrons you would have if Neon meets the Octet rule?" The teacher said.

I chuckled since that question was kind of a trick neon already meets the octet rule so it has ten electrons and 8 valence electrons [yes, you will learn something while reading this(^v^)]

I clicked my answer which was C. ten when the timer ran out. Apparently, I was the only one who got it right. Even my friend who was sitting across got it wrong and he was Asian!!! I looked him dead in the eyes and started laughing. He got pissed off at me.

"You can tell how many Valence electrons an atom has by what?" the teacher asked again.

this time I picked A. the atoms group.

" 'A' was the correct answer. You can tell how many Ve an atom has by the group number. For example Be(beryllium)in group two will have two valence electrons meeting the octet rule," she said. (Yes everything I'm saying is correct. You can check if you like tho. another thing Ve is a shortened version of valence electrons)

A while later

"Okay, like usual I'll come around and give candy to the top three players," Ms. Sheeran, the teacher said.

" David...Nilam....and Nico, okay come get a piece. There are skittles, starbursts, and M&M's" Ms. Sheeran said after verifying the top three.

Geez, after fifty-eight questions I'm finally done, and I got first place. Hopefully, that will keep my mother satisfied. Ever since I got straight A's in my freshman year. She has been on my case acting a lot like an Asian mother; accepting nothing less than A's. Which has been causing me a lot of stress; keeping me out of meditating when I get home.

"Dude, are you getting on smash later?" Adam asked.

"Nah, I haven't renewed my membership. I'm broke as hell," I sighed, regretting not getting a job last summer.

Last summer...

"Hey Nico, wanna get a job at Burgerking?" mother asked

"ugh maybe I kinda don't want to leave the house," I replied

"Are you sure? Cause you still have about a month left before school starts," she asked again.

I inhaled and thought about it for a couple of seconds. Of course I want some money, but on the other hand I don't feel like leaving my room plus there's a weaker version of a virus.

"Yeah, I'm sure might regret it later but...I don't feel like working," I said, still second guessing.

"Okay, but just to let you know I will not let you work during the school year. Your studies come first, you hear me." my mother said firmly.

"Okay," I subconsciously said.

End flashback...

Good afternoon red hawk family....unintelligible speaking..see you tomorrow

"Could you tell what the principal said?" I asked the boys.

Nah...nope

I sighed and asked Nilam, "Great!!! I don't think our bus is late. What do you think?"

"Ugh, I don't know and honestly I don't care. I'll walk home," he said almost the same thing each time this happens.

"You do know that where you live is about a thirty maybe an hour walk," I told Nilam.

"So...you should walk with me," he said.
