124 New Era of Enlightenment

The First Continental War which was paused by Imperium: due to the Dark Friday Attack, that war was never continued until following the first War, Asia's eastern neutral countries like India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, southern west of China and few parts Middle-east withdraw from A.N.A, forming its own alliance Indian Liberation Front, defending their homeland from Imperium's imperialistic rule.

Meanwhile Blackwatch feared of their expansionism is foiling, several Asian countries banded together and formed an alliance to unite the world from A.N.A and Blackwatch sphere of influence.

It is believed that the Indian Liberation Front came out of this very alliance. However, the Northern states of Chinese Government called the Chinese Confederacy who held the power all over western and central Asia for 20 years ago rejected the idea of allying with the Liberation Front and chose instead to ally with Blackwatch Empire who extended a military pact in response, starting the Second Continental War.

With tension arises, The Supreme One called the meeting of the ministers after Lord Masamune and his Terrarium Knights: Supreme One's most elite group of top best soldiers charged with protecting the Imperium against the malevolent influences of their domains, each being assigned into the group by dignity and under direct command of the Supreme One. Terrarium Knights or also referred as 'Black Knights Templar' can be traced back to at least the 18th century, with the first Scottish Knight being Sir Broderick Rogers. Named after the Knights Templar during the Crusades; they operate outside the standard Blackwatch military and are given special privileges and authority. Many of the Terrarium Knights are somewhat out of touch with the real world, instead of old-fashioned Knight's plate armour they used highly advanced Techno Suits to combat potential threats whether they be the allure of foreign philosophies or the machinations of the ruinous powers. The Terrarium Knights operates outside of the control of even the Imperium Senate and answer only to Supreme One. However, Masamune insisted that Blackwatch Ministry should know his findings thus The Supreme One called the Imperium Senate.

The Imperium Senate is an Imperial governing body comprised of the six military Generals and six Ministers. Twelve highest-ranked officials of the most powerful men of the Imperium of Blackwatch Empire. A complex web of tradition, skulduggery, promises of support, threats of retaliation and considerations of mutual interest binds them together and determines who holds office and who does not.

"Tell us about your exploits Lord, sure you have a pretty good reason for requesting me to call this meeting."

At the Board meeting of top Blackwatch individuals the Supreme One asked Masamune in front of Ichiro, top Generals and ministers.

"At first we were introduced the human terrorism problem in Istanbul, the Black-flag, but few days staying in there, we discovered there is big conspiracy is going on around, against us, Blackwatch."

"What kind of conspiracy are we talking about?"

Ichiro asked attentively, urging Masamune to continue.

"The Black-flag is working under a large organisation, the Black-flag ordered the Budapest network, an Anarchist group called Thousand Sun's to supply the Platinum Sceptre into TYZ's port about two weeks from now."

"And... That means..."

"The Conspiracy was to topple the Empire, organised by the Royal Mutants Society, because a new Mutant Emperor has elected. Apparently, Istanbul is one of their hidden underground "Kingdoms", there are six other kingdoms across the globe."

Whole Blackwatch ministers after Masamune's report, a wide discussion occurred, hearing the name of Emperor and Royal Mutants Society which was vanquished after the Mad Mutant's reign during the Second MH War, apparently the Mutant's society elected a new Emperor to seat over their Throne and will try to take over Blackwatch's capital TYZ as the Blackwatch's human enemies delivered the Sceptre, presumably it holds the ancient magical powers that beyond scientific reasoning, using that Sceptre the Mutant Emperor can declare war with their oppressor.

As far as Blackwatch know The Royal Mutants Society, a Cult is the most dangerous of all those organisations that plot to overthrow the rule of the Imperium of Blackwatch from within. All colony and civilisations belonging to the Imperium harboured misanthropic-tainted organisation, which themselves are diverse in practice and membership as is imaginable.

Governed themselves in a concept of a absolute monarchy and the Mutant Emperor who wield absolute power over the Mutant race, Mutants can be diverse but every Mutants should hold their allegiance to their Emperor, an extreme monarchical group that aimed to free Mutant race from the autocratic Blackwatch rule and establish a Mutanic state in the Imperium States.

Acknowledging the RMS plot against their beloved Empire, within couple of minutes a huge argument erupts over the senate, everyone babbling over their opinions except Ichiro, Masamune and Supreme One himself the ones whom are quiet.

"What are we going to do, the RMS has risen again?"

"We have to crushed them before they overthrow the government and took over."

"We are blink of war against the Indian Liberation Front, they rebelled in Burma and attack our trading post."

"Then are we suggesting our soldiers should keep on fighting over foreign lands instead solving the internal enemies that threatened our capital?"

"No, I suggesting we have to destroy the internal rebels then keep on fighting abroad, then who knows, perhaps we'd profit some sleeps."

"ENOUGH!"

A loud intimidating growl from Supreme One's experience stoic voice, silenced all ministers and military Generals.

"You all want some sleep? Then I think you would General, because you command the Infantry over the Golden State I might even 'wake' from that sleep! For few days of my absence, you idiots let those terrorists destroyed the monument that Blackwatch had prided and, under your nose those communist radicals took Bronze State, you all want some fucking sleep!"

Shocked by the aura of the Supreme One, the main Figure of the Imperium of Blackwatch Empire, the General frantically justified his actions to Byron in a reverent and respectful manner.

"Su...Supreme One, if, if I may..."

"Get out all of you, the further instruction will send to your personal email, you will follow those, if you still fear the Firing Squad."

After Supreme One commanded, everyone silently withdraws from their seats without any single word after literally been threatened by capital punishment.

Supreme One made his decision conclude their meeting and that is final.

He indeed a menacing man whom everyone in his Empire respect, undoubtedly brutal and ruthless towards his enemies, he is intelligent and a brilliant leader and works towards his goals with great determination. His goal is to control one-fourth of the world's landmass, have the greatest, most ferocious military of all, and a nice standard of living to boot. Nevertheless, his Empire is one of the grey factions among many, but is firmly order in 'Order Versus Chaos' ideology.

His family, the Kyousuke family took ownership of the Blackwatch as a private Military Organisation for warlords throughout the 18th century world, after it divert from British Royal Army, like his predecessors he has pursued aggressive and expansionist policies while adeptly suppressing many plots against him.

Despite been an Emperor or rather he rejected that title because in his eyes, a mere title doesn't justify anything.

Now Byron on the top as the Supreme One raised it's Empire into the top, For Blackwatch's rapid industrialization and militarization under the Supreme One led to its emergence as a world power and the establishment of a colonial empire remain undefeated after the First Continental War, the Blood Rebellion, the First MH War, and Second MH War. Economic and political turmoil that led to the rise of militarism and totalitarianism.

Blackwatch Imperium has under dozens occupied colonies governed themselves as long they recognised the authorities of Supreme One's Imperium of Blackwatch Empire and pay the Imperial taxes.

Though the Supreme One holds a wide range of power within Blackwatch's domain, he is not fully unstoppable, while holding a military command and carrying out the actions decreed by the Senate, the Supreme One can summon the convene one of the legislative assemblies of the people. The full extent of the dictatorial power was considerable, but not unlimited.

"You stay."

Byron stopped Ichiro when he about to exit, he stayed and tell his father about his future plans.

"Father I suggest that we should withdraw our troops from foreign lands and focus on internal matters in TYZ."

"What do you mean? Withdrawn the troops, giving the Empire a bad name, listened to yourself."

Byron said bitterly, not taking Ichiro's opinion seriously.

"If we not taking the Mutants seriously and keep on fighting humans then some days, we don't have a name, to begin with."

"Is that your suggestion? The rebels from Burma attack our trading posts, butchered our men then burn their corpses, next time they piss over the Empire name."

"War is costly, both internal and external."

"Exactly, if we don't protect our economy then it collapses before we can start any wars. Our Chinese ally, the Confederate will defend the Indian Liberation Front, meanwhile we plan retaking our trading platforms in Burma. The economy already running low, a considerable amount of wealth wasted, investing that idiotic space program, build a space colony on Mars."

Because of the Second Continental war which was started by the rebels from Burma after Blackwatch military conquered Myanmar, Blackwatch is under pressure with external force while the Mutanist actions grew within its own Capital and the communist regime in North.

Though the Empire needs its political machinery not only to run its own internal affairs, but also allow it to engage in diplomacy and expand its sphere of influence.

Supreme One holds the campaign against the Indian alliance Regardless Ichiro's suggestion, he revealed Supreme One's tactic over past decade in snide manner

"I agreed internal conflicts like Walkers, viral infection, Mutants, those things never interest you"

"Because it's easier said than done."

"Yes, the same tactics you used in the last civil war, gave the Counter-Rebellions army a three day pass to do as they pleased with the citizens of the Victor X's conquered regions, and for three bloody days the soldiers exercised every imaginable cruelty, to frustrated the Mad Mutant."

"Yes... I send a reminder to all of the rebels, what will happen if they cross the Empire's way."

Byron quoted strongly, after Ichiro revelation about Byron's fiercest history during his battle against the last Mutant Emperor.

"A decisive plan to evoke the Mad Mutant, while he had demolished, destroyed the city and killed and raped many civilians, you took the opportunity to his vulnerability and sack him down."

Byron scoffed, a deep stoic expression glazed over his face as he remembered those brutal days, surrounded by enemies that he achieved victory through brutality, and sheer ruthlessness.

"I am getting old, my cancer. I got a decade, though I had so many plans for Asia, expanding the Empire as I set out to conquering and colonizing all of Asia, all the way to Europe and Africa, build my Legacy that will last thousands of years. However full might will the neither, you and me must worry about that bullshit Mutant Emperor or their colony. Ahha, aha! Ahaa! AHA!"

Talking for long time, Byron coughed restlessly for the lung cancer he is suffering making it very difficult to breathe properly.

Ichiro sighed, exhaust by his father stubborn ambitions despite Byron got couple of years live and the cancer is squeezing the life out of him. later Ichiro told his father that Byron once told him.

"You once told me, countries that are hard to conquer are easy to rule while countries that are easy to conquer are hard to rule. Be careful if you underestimate your enemies."

Byron absorbed Ichiro's words in like a sponge and while taking an oxygen mask, Byron replied his son with a contemptuous attitude

"Over a decade, you finally let it go otherwise I thought you still hanging on the incident with Sakie."

The name that Byron said nonchalantly anxious Ichiro to the extent, nevertheless he didn't show any distressful expression, only said in low, unfazed, confident voice.

"Father, there is nothing do with Sakie, Amiko or big brother, you know I am got over it, focus taking responsibility of the Great Empire, so why bring up now?"

"Mm-Hmm... Just checking your mental state, you were so emotional at first but you are ready finally."

After Ichiro's convincing answer, Byron gently pressed his son's shoulder, showing a humble recognition within his dying face,

"Within days I will hold a big ceremony, congratulating to your promotion as Prime Minister and Captain General of the whole Blackwatch Imperial army and once I erased the disgusting rumours you will marry the most gorgeous woman in this world, you understand?"

"Yes, and you should take more care for your cancer therapy."

Goes without saying, Byron excessively impress by Ichiro's devotion over his father's Empire and his health, and finally believed that he will the successor.

And Ichiro happy, proudly agreed to take it, watched happily his father left with his personal bodyguard Airicaba who was always around the Supreme One.

Despite a youthful-looking man, Ichiro Kyousuke is 38 years old. stands at 183 cm, weighs 69 kg and has a slender build with broad shoulders. He has sharp facial features with a pointy nose, narrowed purple eyes and full lips. Out of all Imperium's military Ichiro has the palest skin tone, almost white when compared to others. His hair is neck length, wavy and coloured silver. Who knows, apart from his attractive looks, there's something less pleasant inside?
