Heed Not the Call of Darkness
"She's beautiful," cooed Mr. Michele Alexandre. His expression changed from awe to surprise as soon as he realized that the baby was kicking his arm vigorously while sleeping peacefully. "Hmm...and strong too."
"Indeed," his wife Mrs. Haven Alexandre agreed.
"Let's name her Dabria, after your mother," the man said, still smiling adoringly at the sleeping infant in his wife's arms.
"No," she whispered. "A jewel like her, needs a beautiful name. We are calling her Hyacinth Amelia."
"Hyacinth Amelia Alexandre," he echoed. "I like it." Mr. Alexandre nodded while stroking Hyacinth's cheek.
Little did they know that the sleeping baby girl named Hyacinth is going to have a life so unlike other children. A life full of mysteries and hardships had unraveled itself the moment she was born. Tightening a firm grip over her and her life. From the first time of her opening her unusually coloured eyes to the closing of it, her path had been chosen to follow a road full of thorns and winding lanes.
But nevertheless there was someone who will guide her,
Through her every step.
Protecting her because of a promise.
An entity as old as time itself.
The first to be formed.
In the cruel vast world.
Little did they know, that the bedroom's door was slightly ajar and a black shadow stood observing the girl with it's shadowy gaze, eyeing her hungrily. But it soon vanished when the little human spotted the dark figure and started crying.
