Elizabeth maintained her silence, golden as it was.

She decided on this, not because she lacked the right words to say but because the situation with the princess' unhealthy comment just now, was the kind that seemed completely out of place. 

The ensuing silence had by now lingered for a lengthy minute during which time Agatha fixated her azure eyes on the one who she now considered a competition because of her looks. 

Despite having every type of luxury at her disposal, the Princess could never tolerate seeing someone else, a girl like this who possessed such clear features. The kind that exaggerated her beauty to the point that even if she was not cloaked in that elegant fabric of hers, a simple silk gown would still lack the ability to downplay her very soft features. 

Agatha grimaced in her mind. 

'She is not supposed to be looking like that. Who is she anyway? Why should she dress so elegantly as if she intends to measure up to me?'
