The anger raging inside me blossomed as I stepped up to the Rusalka. This emotion could be Sabastian's. We were mated. Thus, his emotions could be transmitted to me. A grin slanted the rusalka's lips. "I am guessing you are the mate for the beast below us."

I did not have the patience to respond.

"If you are here to request for us to leave him alone, you should turn back now." It grated on my nerves how confident she was. "We have no intentions of leaving him. You can say this is justice for disrespecting us. You should leave before we kill you all. I will give you safe passage across if you give us those men.
