Chapter 10: Messing with the Young Duke

Just in this single 'battle' alone, Keon's superiority could already be seen. Despite just returning back in his teenage years, he already made a few schemes

The first was with the professor, the second was to have his own Palace, and lastly, it was to lower Lawrence's skills although that isn't a 100% success

The schemes he made are simple but to think of doing that when something extraordinary just happened to him says a lot about his mental fortitude

"Continue being like this and I'll make sure you'll die a painful death" Lawrence threatened, his voice filled with malice

He currently looks like a demon that could incur fear to everyone that would see him yet Keon was completely unfazed by that

"Unfortunately for you, my dear brother, I am not afraid of death" Keon replied with a sneer

If he really wants his life to be safe, he wouldn't plan to drag Lawrence to the bottom. He would simply kill him as soon as he can

That's the reason why even though Keon's rational side told him to kill Lawrence he didn't plan on doing that

His goal was not to live and survive. It was to give Lawrence the most painful pain he could ever receive

"Let's see about that" That was Lawrence's last words before walking away

He already woke up from his arrogance and it is now the time to start planning things

It was not only hard to obtain the Throne as an illegitimate Prince, he even had perhaps the most dangerous enemy in the Empire. There is no time for him to slack off

"I'll make sure you'll suffer much more than I did" Keon vowed before entering his new palace

He encountered a lot of maids inside but he ignored all of them as he badly needed to rest

His mind was fatigued from all the things that happened to him

Keon slept early in the afternoon but it was already morning the next day when he woke up

Keon rang the bell near his bed and some maids entered his room. After he displayed his cruelty, these maids changed the way they treated him

Although the maids aren't completely not hostile to Keon but they didn't dare mock him directly anymore

He doesn't care about these lowly people though as he had them prepare his bath and foods

It took more than an hour before Keon finished with all the necessary preparations and he head out to attend the classes in the Academy

Although Keon already graduated in his past life, he still has to graduate again. The diploma in the academy is something that all Nobles and Royals needed

After some time, Keon arrived at the academy. In the past, he would instantly receive mocking gazes as soon as he entered the academy gates

However, this time, the students were more cautious. They already know what happened with Professor Ronald Ware

Although they still look down on Keon, they are behaving more cautiously than before in case he really changed

Those scrutinizing gaze is not something new to Keon and he just ignored all of them. He really doesn't care about what people think about him. They are nothing in his eyes and he couldn't be bothered by them

There are very few people that Keon would pay attention to, and an example of that is a Sun that he accidentally saw talking with several Moons at once

'I thought he was a chaste and uptight Sun' Keon thought in his mind before shaking his head. 'All Suns are really the same'

From a distance, Keon saw his fiancé to be, the Young Duke of Ybra Duchy. Although Keon doesn't care that much about reputation but there are still some things that he wouldn't let happen

One of them was being a wife with a cheating and lustful husband. Keon thought that Cain Ybra is different from everyone but seems like he still has some similarities with them

'Hmm, should I mess with him?' Keon asked to himself before smirking. He thought that it might be fun and so he went towards Cain that notices him

'What is this guy planning to do?' Cain instantly raised his guard. For him, every step and deed that Keon does is pure evil. He couldn't underestimate this man

Just as expected, Keon is really asking for trouble. Despite seeing that there are people in his way, Keon didn't care at all

He mercilessly bumped into them, not caring if they would get hurt or not

The innocent moons that Keon bumped were about to complain but after seeing who was the perpetrator, they instantly shut their mouths

They all look down, mock, and bully Keon but they cannot do it in broad daylight. They must be subtle about it since he's still part of the Imperial Family

If the news that they scolded and shouted at a son of the Emperor, their families would surely scold them to death

"Honey, what are you doing in this place? There are too many annoying bees in here!" Keon questioned, stunning not only the moons but also the Young Duke

Before Cain could even ask what Keon is doing, he already felt a soft and smooth hand being placed at the back of his neck

Although Cain's current body still hasn't personally experienced the future and his reaction time was slower compared to his peak, his mind and soul are different

He was about to throw Keon away from him when he was given a big surprise

Keon pulled him down from the neck and the next thing that he knows was that there is already a pair of soft and moist lips planted into his cheeks

The sensation wasn't bad at all, in fact, it was very pleasant. Cain even wondered how could a person's lips be this soft as if they were made from clouds

However, when thinking that this was the kiss of the Royal Villainess, Cain had goosebumps all over his body

Despite the pleasant sensation the kiss brought him, all the hair in his body still stood up

As such, Cain immediately backed away while staring at Keon with disbelief

Why did this villainess kiss him? Is this another part of this evil man's scheme?

Cain's heart went cold as he starts to think of what might possibly be Keon's goal for doing this

"Did you have a good night's sleep, my fiancé?" Keon asked with a smirk

He can't help but think that the Young Duke's reaction was too cute and interesting. It's like Cain is a frightened cat with his guard raised as much as possible

"F-fiancé?" The several moons around muttered in surprise

What fiancé? They never heard anything about the Young Duke having a fiancé especially if it was the unloved Imperial Moon!

Hearing their surprised gasps, Keon smirked at them before walking closer to the frightened Cain

Keon wants to be closer with Cain yet the latter was backing away as if he was afraid. Keon almost laugh loudly at that and he doesn't have a choice but to forcefully pull Cain towards him

"Your Grace, you pained my weak heart. Why have you still not told anyone about our relationship?" Keon asked, feigning an image of a pure white lotus

'Weak heart?' Cain asked sarcastically inside his head. If Keon has a weak heart then everyone else's heart is as fragile as a sheet of paper!

Who was it that killed countless people with his own hands or schemes? How is that kind of person have a weak heart?

"Your grace, don't make me lose face or I can't guarantee giving my help to you. You already know that threatening me with my life wouldn't work. If I lose face here, even I wouldn't know what I might do" Keon whispered to Cain that felt shivers run down his spine

Keon's breath was too warm and thinking about who he was, Cain really can't help but shudder

From an outsider's perspective, Keon is like a coy snake wrapping itself around the sacred Young Duke and the moons around had an urge to tear his skin off

However, even if they want to, they cannot possibly do that and the only thing that these moons could do was to stare at the two in shock

"Y-yes, His Highness is my fiancé" Cain confirmed but his expression looks far from being happy

He thought that when Keon said that he wouldn't know what he could do if he lose face, it means that he might hurt the innocent moons around

Although Cain is not close with those moons, he could not let them be harmed because of him. As such, he could only agree

Well, it's not like it was wrong. He really is going to be Keon's fiancé and possibly his husband in the near future although he doesn't like that

Cain's mood was being reflected into his face, earning the sympathy of the moons around

The Young Duke is clearly unwilling to be Keon's fiancé, what could have possibly happened?
