Chapter 6: The Vault (Part 1)
I walked around my project alone. Delinda and Rose were sleeping in the trailer because both of them were sleepy, my cardigan. I forgot to wear it, but gladly, I have my denim jacket. "How the progress?" The architect is my friend. His name is Jeremy. We were already friends when I was in Junior high school. "As I said, you should wear the helmet and the safety vest," I'm wearing them.
"This is the miniature that I wanted to show you," he opened the cloth, and I looked inside, "this is the lobby. All of the employees can park their vehicle, and then their entrance on the left," I nodded. "So, where can I park my car?" He pointed back at the building, "eagerly, you using containers, and it makes my jobs easier!" I nodded.
"So your employee's locker room are here, and their bathrooms, gents, and lads,"
I nodded. "What about my room?" He pointed at the middle of it. You wanted to change it?" I nodded. "I want you to make another level, and it's for the Chiefs. It will make my jobs easier to pay you, Jer." He giggled. "I'm sorry if I made you pissed before." I sighed. "You wanted to get inside?" I nodded.
"So, do you have any issues with the utilities, materials, or anything?" I saw they were working hard. They don't want to lose their jobs. They have a family to feed. "Gladly, no. But if I said we have issues with the bugs? Yes! You should call the bug's terminator after we finished attaching the utilities because we hit a ants nest while we detached the old utilities, and I found a secret place," I looked at him. "What kind of secret place?" He wants me to follow him.
"Watch your head," I'm ducking and walking slow, "we hadn't touched anything because I need you to opened by yourself." I nodded, "You know the combination?" I shook my head, "I need specification of this vault," I looked at the door. "Why do you not try to attach some C4?" I looked at him.
I took a deep breath. Honestly, I was swearing not hacking everything. "I need a laptop or MacBook. You bring one, right?" He nods, "you wanted to hack it?" I nodded.
Wait, "It's not a vault," I opened the door by turned the circle to the left, and I heard a clicking sound, "it's ridiculous," I opened the save, and I picked the key. I put them inside the keyhole, and I opened it. "Holy shit," so that's why he wants this company back.
"This is much!" I nodded, "I should return their money, not enjoyed them. Jeremy, can you awake my wife and Delinda in the trailer, tell them that I found a way to pay the investors." Jeremy nodded, and I looked at my surrounding, "hey you! Come here," I don't know his name.
"I borrow your gloves, please?" He gave me, and I give him money, "don't tell your friends, just be quiet." I picked this cash and put it in the trolley. "That's why you want your company back, Mr. Ferdian," put you in jail. It's a right decision. "Hey, what..." she was shocked with all of this money.
"Instead you put real jobs, hire criminals, you still rich." I nodded. "So, what is your plan?" I sighed. "I returned them, so this is your job, Rose. Call our investors and says their money is ready to collect 50% profit from their last investment to this company" she nods.
"I will stay here to secure this money until these vaults are empty." She looks at me, "don't you say you won't move?" I nodded. If I move, they will steal the money.
"Honestly, he will tell his friend if he saw much money on this vault," Rose nodded. "Jeremy, I know it's risky for my damn building, I need you to call Hanks, and it's an emergency. I will live here. Until the money is empty and transferred to a safer place." Jeremy nodded. "You need them to take a vacation?" I nodded.
I will not cut their wages, "call it for a day," Delinda arrives, and she has a same reaction as Rose did. If I have two wives, and they get along with each other, I feel blessed! But I don't want to married to another. It's the same as I cheat on my wife.
"What do you need?" I looked at her, "you have a financial report for the last three months?" She nods. "I-I'll send you." I sit on the floor. Rose looks at me, "so, you not staying at the house?" I nodded, "It's Tuesday, right?" She nods, "it's Tuesday, but I make sure you make it quick as soon as possible," I'm smiling and nodded.
"Am I can melt your heart?" I looked at her, "I don't know what you are t-talking about" she starts to shy. "Okay, it's okay," I sighed. "You look beautiful with that outfit." She glares at me, "why you glaring?" She sits on the floor next to me, "can I'm staying here too?" I looked at her, "I'm staying here for hours, not five days or six days. Honestly, it depends how fast Delinda found the financial report for the past three months." She sighed,
"We should pay compensation for Andini, Irene, Jade, and another victim of Mr. Ferdian's victim." I nodded, "I agree," speak of the devil. I stood up, and Delinda gave me the report, "you did not forget your glasses too?" I shook my head, "I'm wearing them," I sighed.
"So, I don't know how much money is in this vault, it's real, or it's fake, we should count them! And check them one by one. I will bring this vault to my house. And I will bring my lawyer," Delinda nods, "so you will staying overnight?" I nodded, "It's for all of your safety. both of you should go home tonight because I don't want to put your life in danger." She looks at me, "we can video call all the time" She sighed.
"But I promised me, if you have done, you should explain it to my mom. She will misunderstand if I went to her house without you," I'm smiling, "I promise," she hugs me tight.
"I'm sorry, I don't want any trouble, Rose. I'm sorry," she nods. I sighed and saw them go. It's the right choice. As I made this discovery, all the journalists will scoop me and this vault inside. "So, another threat?" I'm trying to relax my muscle, "it's been a long day. I never make chaos," I heard Hanks's voice. "Hanks, I wanted you to drive one of our trucks with the container, and we will go to the safe house." He nods.
Safehouse, a hidden place, quiet, only Gods, me, and Hanks who knew, Honestly, I can bring them there, but the risk to get caught it's too severe. I should use VPN from now, "so who will load this vault," I looked at Jeremy, "me, I'll do it by myself, and you fire!" I picked his ID card, and I told the rest of my bodyguard to bring him somewhere. Somewhere nobody can help him until this vault is empty.
"I don't trust him," I sighed. It's hard to trust money to someone these days, that man who I gave him money? He already spread the jam. It proves how many eyes looked at me now. "You want something?" I nodded, "bring all of them to somewhere no one can help until the vault is empty," Hanks nodded. "I can help it, sorry," I don't mean to hurt them, but I gave them another job on my Island.
"Let's get back to work," I closed the door, and I looked at something on the corner of this place and smiling, "I guess I don't need a safe house." I'm laughing, not because it's funny, but I realized. How secure this place is.
