"Ok, let's say that the store does have high-ranked items and that we are willing to sell it to you. Who are you to be able to protect us from the Crescent Sect?"

"I am not powerful enough to protect you but there are others behind me. I am a rogue cultivator and recently a lot of the rouge cultivators have come together to create an alliance. We don't want to be easily hunted down by powers and we also want to be able to fight for better resources."

"Isn't that the same as making a new force? Wouldn't the forces near you such as the Crescent Sect attack you?"

"We are just an alliance and we aren't forced to do things like we would be in a sect so it is unlikely that sects would attack us and even if they wanted to, there are multiple foundation realm cultivators in the alliance."

"The thing is, even with all of us, there is a very big shortage of alchemists and forging masters, especially mid and high-ranked ones as they require a lot of resources and time to make which rouge cultivators don't have. We heard about this store so we want to make a deal with you."

"Ok, how about you come tomorrow. I will talk with others before making our decisions."

"All right, I hope that we can work together starting tomorrow."

The old man slowly left the store.

Later that day, Davor came up to the store.

"Tonight, I don't need you to watch over the store instead, I want you to go and find information about an alliance of rogue cultivators and tell me how strong they are."

"All right, you can count on me."

Before leaving, Eric gave Davor some low and mid-ranked pills so that his information search could be easier.
