the encounter
ken was sitting in the backyard of an abandoned shrine in the outskirts of tokyo admiring the beautiful stars in the night sky .ken didnt have much hobbies as inside he was the same poor young lad from india . his most precious time except reading novels and watching anime was admiring stars leisurely on a beautiful night .
the only thing different this time was that ken was in japan and wearing an expensive looking black suit while sitting on the ground . his teacher Gurpreet Singh was very particular when it came to fashion so ken also picked up that habit slightly in time . he had purchased the best suits according to the culture on earth from system shop and had stored them inside his infinite storage .
after he finished the long session of cultivation and reached peak core formation realm , ken didnt buy any mansion like he had planned first . the reason for that was that he didnt feel that the sudden rich atmosphere would suit him . ken liked simple lifestyle and it hadn't changed much now too .

ken drew runes according to the knowledge of arrays inside his memory and tried various things . he was engrossed in the process at first as it was fun and easy for him . ken had much better control on his ki due to his superior talent and mental powers than others so basic arrays were not difficult for him and he succeeded everytime on first try .
he drew various talismans and even made a storage ring . the reason he didnt buy any house was that he used runes and build a small living space for himself inside his personal space . the personal space was different from system storage as he cut a space crack himself and isolated the space .he used runes to stabilize the small space and can enter it whenever he wants from anywhere.
according to maniac , the density and laws of space will be more strong in higher planes so he could only use this personal space when he was in this lower plane . just when ken was going to enter his home in the space by opening a small space crack , he saw a loli wearing kimono walking towards him .
ken was surprised because he could feel spiritual ki from her and even maniac confirmed that she was not a human but a spiritual entity. ken didnt feel any fear after his first encounter with a spiritual entity as according to maniac , he was strongest besides the god he met on earth . ken hadn't practiced any type of martial arts yet but just the density of his ki is too overwhelming for others.
" hello , my name is inuarashi . nice to meet you young cultivator. " the loli sat beside ken and said after looking in his eyes .
ken dient feel any malice from her but was intrigued by the fox like eyes of her . " hello , it's nice to meet you too . my name is ken ." ken forwarded his right hand the loli shook it lightly with hers .
both of them started chatting and became friendly to each other in time . ken came to know that inuarashi was a lesser god and have lived for more than 500 years here in this shrine . the shrine was maintained well during the war period as many people came to pray to her that time . but she was forgotten in time and now was going to cease to exist in a few years .
according to her , the lesser gods like her exist in many shrines and were created by the faith of people . they continue to exist with the power of faith from their believers . so during this age of technology where not many believed in their existence , they are fated to fade away in time .
" I'm happy that I was able to chat with a good cultivator like you before I cease to exist . thank you ken " the loli spoke in a cute voice but the despair in her voice couldn't escape the ears of ken .

the reason was simple because she can just cultivate a spirit art and become stronger. with every increase in cultivation levels , life expectancy of cultivators increased substantially. for humans, it may be small like 100 years but for spirit entities like the loli , cultivation was much longer process but they could live much longer than humans too.

the loli after confirming the existence of the method inside her memory broke into a huge smile which looked too cute to ken " thank you ken " she started crying and ken noticed that the spiritual entities were not much different than humans when it came to emotions .
ken couldn't help himself and patted her small head with his hand lightly and loli borrowed his broad chest to cry for a while .
after many hours , it was going to be morning soon and ken wasn't the one who liked to impose on others . so he just opened a small space crack " loli , share this cultivation method with other spirits that you deem are not evil . " ken flashed a small smile at her and stepped a foot inside the space crack " let's meet again sometime in future if fate allows it . see ya "
then ken entered the space crack after finishing his sentence and it closed automatically. everything returned to normal as he didnt even appear here at all . but the crying loli who was looking at the direction he disappeared knew that her benefactor came here and left her with a life long favour that she couldn't possibly repay in future .
ken sat on the fluffy sofa and started reminiscing about the small encounter with the loli and started smiling . he then cleared his mind and sat cross legged. he purchased some pills from the system and started cultivation session after 3 days that he spent roaming all around japan . it's been 10 days since he recieved the supreme tier cultivation method and started cultivation for real. his mind drifted inside his mind palace after the first successful cycle and he thought about the possible item system would give him 20 days later as the monthly random item ....
