1 CHAPTER I

knock! knock! the door knocks.

ma'am coffee!

the assistant calls out. getting out of the bed comes Gabriella. she opens the door grabs the coffee keeps it aside and catches the assistant hand swings around. he felt dizzy. he says "looks like you are so happy, ma'am".

Gabriella says "yes! I have been waiting for this day in my whole life"

what was it, ma'am? the assistant asks.

"I have no idea but my mother and father had told me that they are going to give the best surprise to me," says Gabriella

"sounds great," says the assistant.

Gabriella shuts the door and giggles. she opens the closet and chooses her outfit. "red or green I suppose green" she says. she started singing while taking a bath. she got dressed up, tied up a pink bow on her hair, and ran out of her room. she giggled and ran down the stairs. she danced around the place. she stopped a moment as she saw her parents standing in the dining hall. they had the biggest house in their town. peoples call them the king of riches okay coming back to the story as Gabriella passed to the dining hall she hugged her mother and father saying "morning mom and dad"

her father replied " good morning gabi dear come on let's have our breakfast "

her mother said "come on baby"

they all sat for breakfast. Gabrielle keeps watching all no one spoke a word.

Gabriella said "mom"

mother spoke, "want honey or butter?"

"hmm! honey," she said.

her mother passed the honey. after a big breakfast, they all sat on the couch.

Gabriella said "mom! you told me that you have something surprise with me?"

"oh well, that's true " both her mother and father looking at each other said.

Gabriella smiled.

her mother said "maybe later can we speak it"

Gabriella didn't feel to accept it but she was okay with it and she says that "okay".

she walks through the corridor straight to her bedroom. she shuts the room lies in the bed and thinks why her mother and father weren't much excited to show her surprise. she had a lot of battling ideas. she thought first maybe her surprise is bad or not ready it may be broken. she was baffled. she said, " I will just wait for the moment to happen".

okay, now let's see around the city they live in. it was a beautiful place. peoples dance and sing while working to work happily. their main occupation was mining. that's why all the peoples there live comfortable and rich. in one of these Gabriella's family is a billionaire in the city.

Gabriella came down the stairs she saw her parents speaking to someone. she hides behind a door and listens to their conversation.

her father says "my daughter is pretty interested in this "

the other people said "ok! then it's fixed on coming Wednesday

"good! It's a perfect day" her mother says

hearing this Gabriella was confused she was like what they are speaking about? after they left Gabriella went into the room.

she said "dad, who are they?

father says "it's our guest"

she says "well then can you explain what I am interested in?

mother says " you are been fixed for your marriage!

Gabriella says "Marriage?"

mother says yes.

What? how could do such a thing? you haven't asked me about my confirmation then what rights do you have to arrange for such a thing. Gabriella says

"SHUT UP, we are elders so we lots of rights to handle our offsprings okay there is no decision for you so just keep quiet " mother shouts

Gabriella weeps bitterly and runs to her room. she shuts the door noisily. she sits on her bed and weeps bitterly. the birds start to chip in their cage. later her mother comes in Gabriella looks at her she asks "what?"

her mother says "you asked me for a book last week look I have bought you that"she says gently in her sweet tone.

Gabriella pushes that and gets of her room without speaking a word.

GAB-RI-EELA! her mother says.

she walked to the garden and sat on the swing and says to an ant "is this my surprise, nice" she says angrily.

it was the night the maids went to call Gabriella for dinner. they tapped and announced a call to come for dinner but there was no reply. on the other side, her mother and father are waiting for her. suddenly the doorbell rang surprisingly it was Gabriella's younger brother George. looking at him they got so excited he went near him his mother hugged and kissed him and his father patted him and said "wow! you shoot up your height man guy " all of them were so happy down.

George is a very naughty boy. he always prank her sister gabriella and the maids in his house . he is always happy. he mostly plays and pranks a lot with the sleep-headed Ester. he is enagged in arranging any important things for george's father. George was sent to his uncle's how for few months and he returns now. as Gabriella steps down she sees her brother George laughing with her parents . she was happy looking at him. she goes there. hi george gabriella says . george replies "hey sis" . gabriella says in a sad and a rude mood "I'm hungry let's eat". mother says to the maid "get the food ready we are ready to eat". george,mother and father were joking and laughing so as the maids laughs . the dinner went smoothly. Gabriella didn't laugh at all. George questions her " hey why aren't you lauging girl!". Gabriella says "nope just feeling a bit tired ok bye I'm heading to my bed now". she ate first and went to sleep. George asks "why is she acting weird?". her mother distract him saying "here add some pepper to the salad they taste very nice". "oh thanks " he says . Father says "George, could you please teach me how to use phone tomorrow ?" George says "yea sure".

After a huge meal father,mother and george was playing chess. they were enjoying. Whereas Gabriella was busy sleeping and she slept weeping tears that night.
