The new dawn

Emerald quickly did all to be done that morning. She has this big job interview she was going that morning. It was the post of an assistant she appointed for. The company sent her a message that she would be interviewed today.

She hardly greeted her mom or even respond to her younger sister's greetings. She was in a hurry to get to the interview on time. "Emerald, please jeje, don't be in so much hurry, it's just an interview," mrs jumoke, emerald's mother said. "Mummy, see you later am gone," emerald said as she dashed out of the house heading for the bus at the junction of the road.

She got to the company at the right time. She entered the company's office and saw where job seekers were interviewed. She stood amongst the massive job seekers who queued and waiting impatiently to be called for interview. She stood patiently and waited for her turn, when she would be called for interview. She saw many persons who goes into the interviewing office with smiles and come out with long and sad faces. She even saw a lady coming out of the interviewing office with tears. "Na wa ooh, just to get a job in this country you will need to suffer first, i hope I will chosen for the job," emerald said to herself. "Emerald olajuwomi, come to the office your interview starts now," a handsome voice from the interviewing office called emerald's name for interview. She quickly walked briskly to the office. Some men were looking at her and admiring her beauty. She quickly brought her head down and feeling shy. She almost fell on the floor when she saw a handsome and charming guy sitting in the interviewing office. "I think he is the manager of the company.... Maybe he's the CEO," emerald whispered to herself. She sat on the chair and the men fixed eyes on her beauty. The only man in the office emerald really likes was the charming, handsome guy in the interviewing office. " You are emerald olajuwomi, right?" The handsome guy asked seriously. Emerald almost fainted for the charming and handsome guy's sweet voice. "He is too serious and cold headed," emerald whispered to herself. "Yes, I'm emerald olajuwomi....., "May we get your credentials now?" The handsome guy asked. Emerald brought out her credentials before the handsome guy. He began to look at it and passed it to the other interviewing members to see. He then faced emerald, and emerald turned her eyes to the other side, she doesn't want the handsome guy's eyes to come in contact with hers. " So tell us about yourself? The charming guy asked and doesn't care if emerald is beautiful or not. "Okay sir," emerald said. "I went to afolabi primary school, then I proceeded to surulere secondary school, I wrote my WAEC (west Africa examination council) and jamb and...., "We don't need your cock and bull story, just go straight to the point! The said handsome guy spoke harshly to emerald. "Am sorry sir..., "Sorry for yourself miss! Just continue, your time is ticking," he said to emerald reposively. Emerald immediately knew why the lady she saw was crying the moment she left the interviewing office. "Gush! He is handsome but his attitude and speech are ugly", emerald said to herself with a frown.
