1 Prologue

Malefic Dolent:

She left me..

She took everything, my life savings, everything....

The only thing she didn't take is, our child...

No matter how heart broken I was, I still tried to raise our daughter.

I Failed...

Failed to all the rude, and cruel people. They won, they managed to grab a hold of my daughter's innocent mind. They corrupted her.

She became just like her mother...

From looks; to attitude

I failed

She is dead...

I failed

I simply wasn't careful enough. I just wasn't strong enough...

I hate them

I hate them all..

And yet, After all of that, I am determined to try again...

This time I won't fail...

"Mr. Dolent?"

Malefic crashed back to reality, away from his thoughts. He looked down at the lady at the front desk.

"Pardon?" He asked blankly

The lady smiled, before showing him a couple of sheets of paper "All you need to do is sign these last few papers, then you'll be all set" She paused as a nurse walked in, carrying a small bundle.

My new child...

"of course" Malefic said, grabbing the pen the lady offered to him. He signed. Before handing them back.

"Congratulations! You just adopted this lovely newborn!" The lady beamed, as the nurse walked up to Malefic, handing him the bundle.

He gently grabbed the babe, looking down at the small face,

The face of an innocent...

"what name are you going to give her?" The nurse asked.

"Amara" Malefic lift up his index finger, gently stoking the baby's cheek "Amara Dolent" He finished.

I will protect you. Whatever it takes....
