Meeting room

Dylan's POV...

I can't win against her stubbornness. So I didn't stop her. But now I'm so damn worried about her. It has been two hours already. What is she doing? Where is she? Is she okay? I told her to call me. Did she even bring her phone?

No, Dylan. Stop thinking. She is okay. You know how brave she is. Now, you really need to concentrate. Or this meeting will go to waste.

I forced myself to stop thinking and focused on the meeting. "So, what was I saying?" I cleared my throat.

Everyone in the room looked at me. Though the room was dark, yet the projector's light was lessening darkness. I can't see everyone, but I can tell they were dumbfounded! Because an employee was already talking about his ideas standing before the projector screen.

Damn it!

I looked at that employee. "I'm sorry. I was thinking about something else. You continue." He nodded and continued.
