This was the particular season that vampires hated the most though not all of them hated it, especially since some powerful vampires were fortunate enough to have the ability to withstand the scorching sun like her husband.

Mineah looked around as she absorbed the peace and quiet. It was the first time she had witnessed the palace this quiet. Not that there were always Valcrezians around, but today, she barely saw anyone walking around except for a few officials and most of the melds that could withstand the sun. Maybe it was because the sun that day was at its peak with how hot it was. Still, she loves basking in the sun's rays, especially during that particular day.
