"Oh, please… Lai… Don't do this to me," she pleaded. "Wake up and come back to me!"

Mineah slowly opened her eyes the moment she felt someone shaking her shoulders. She didn't mind how dizzy she was getting when she jolted up from bed to quickly look for Nikolai. She was sweating all over, and she was panting for air as she tried to look for him.
