This is one of my favorite book and I'm getting addicted to this book😊 and I really love the way the author plot's the story and you won't believe that I have learned the dialogues in the chapters by reading this book again and again.. 😂

This is a superb book. I’m an English major (novel buff) and I have been living in this story for months now— I adore the characters and their development, the historical time period, the royal court drama, the relationships and alliances, the shocking scenes… This one has it all. I commend the author on a job well done! Thank you for this wonderful tale! I’d adore even more content from this world— you could explore so many spin-off storylines, with all these rich plots. When the main story ends, Volume Two takes you away on a delightful, riveting prequel journey. So much to love here. No surprise it won Gold honors!

This is Ash's second book I am reading. you have lots of talent Ash and you stories are best, I'm looking forward to reading your novels in future. thank you so much for giving us wonderful stories. Yet another masterpiece by Ash. I got so used to the LDG world but reading this story with another fantasy background was great. I love Calhoun and Madeline's story. Cal is witty, sarcastic, dark, possessive, teasing, so loyal and loving. I loved his character progression from being a stubborn and not flexible man in love to an adjusting, supportive and understanding man who let's Madeline thrive and shine the way she wants to. Maddie is a stubborn, strong, good natured woman who in the journey of finding herself, finds love with Cal that breaks boundaries of all realms. The timeline from hating Cal to understanding him better and knowing that he is the one for her, is amazing. There is so much character development. The setup of this world is very interesting. The characters written are so intricately woven that it will leave you gasping in amazement. The number of twists will make you dizzy (in a good way). I absolutely adore some of the side characters. It's great that I got to read about them too in Volumes 2 and 3. It's satisfying to read about others and it's a good closure. It's a great story and I'm sure I will remember it for a long time. ❤

Such great writing. I love how vividly the writer explained the different events, I could literally see the story like a movie. And the emotions in it, I could feel what the characters felt, the laughter, sadness, pain, I would even unconsciously start crying..lol. It has a really nice plot and the representation of the different characters, you would literally fall in love with the devil...lollll

One of the best books on this site. Interesting with decent writing. Slow burn. No rape- thank you writer! Toxic love relationship but hey he is a vampire king so it is to be expected. Sexy and cunning, the ML is complicated, charming, and disturbing. FL is naïve but strong.

I absolutely LOVE this book!! I love character development as well the relational developments between the various characters. I am currently in the ‘prequel’ and I just say Calhoun deserves happiness! I won’t dive to into it because i don’t to spoil it for new readers, BUT this certainly a must read!! You will not be disappointed! Ash is a phenomenal writer I have read nearly all her books... I’d recommend each of them 💕😍

Ash you're a diamond seriously. It's been years since I last read a book as good as this. This book has a hint of the Originals and Supernatural all in a historical setting which is one of my favorites. Honestly, I can't even to praise you enough on how outstanding this book was. And I loved the way you would recommend music it makes the story come to life in my mind while I read it. The thrill, the suspense, the actions, the excitement....sigh.. am short of words and all I can say is thank you Ash. I just found your other books and I'll be reading them soon. Am done with Cal and Madeline's story now I'll venture into Theodore and Lucy's story
