Back Into Tabborant

Owen is sitting in one of the various reading piles in Ash’s cottage. Ashton is in the library with the doctor. The door is closed, but that doesn’t stop Owen from being able to listen to the conversation. From what Owen can hear, the doctor keeps dodging the questions or she’ll answer in a very confusing way. The only thing she’s been clear about is the name and location of the church. She still refuses to clarify her motives.

A few moments after listening to Ash and Dr. Allen enter a screaming match, it goes quiet. Owen watches as Ash storms out of the room, his long black hair is messy and his eyebrows furrow in frustration. He doesn't seem to notice Owen sitting next to the door as he locks the door then turns to the firepit. He places the metal rod back into the fire place and sits at the dining room table, he runs his hands through his tangled hair.

“No dice?” Owen asks, looking up at him. Ash jumps and looks down at him.
