I realllyy find the interaction between the FL and the ML' siblings. It looks like a fast paced story no bs wasting time. I really found the first 20 chapters amusing and nice. Even the start was with a bang. Never seen any FL start with slapping and punching people who annoy her. I hope this novel gets selected. But if it does not can some one please provide raws?.
💫 Honest review with spoilers: The novel starts out good. It's written pretty well and the good thing is the FL is intelligent as well as outspoken. She knows what she wants and goes for it. She also voluntarily marries the ML. The ML had an accident and can't walk. He lives in resentment and is bitter and grumpy. However he has a soft heart and pretty much falls for the FL when he meets her. He's definitely a doting ML💕. In 25 chapters you learn that the FL: 1) Is really good at martial arts (she can beat up a group of gangsters without breaking a sweat, good). 2) Is proficient in playing the violin. 3) Is an excellent race car driver (drifting). 4) Is very good at stocks and investing. I don't doubt that she has many more skills that we'll find out about. Not only that, but she's happy, friendly, basically all sunshine and light. All other characters are like moths to her flame. It's a one woman show when it comes to her. Everyone competes to spend time with her and want to be with her because she's basically an angel without wings 🙃. Yeah. She's that perfect. TOO perfect in fact. That's why I had to bring my rating down. As much as I like how intelligent she is, as a flawed human myself, I just can't relate to a character that's great at everything 🤷🏽♀️. Other than that the novel involves fighting for money and power (the ML's company). Also, family drama etc. The usual. It's good but not great.
I usually wait until there's 40 chapters to write a review but even at 20 chapters I liked the direction of the story. I've read 35 chapters so far & maybe that will change later but these are my feelings about the story as of now. For some, maybe the title & synopsis may make you think it's one of those typical stories & to some extent it is - with one daughter being favored while the other is treated like trash. The good thing is that FL won't let herself be bullied & is capable of handling her matters, which is very satisfying to read. Though they haven't developed a romantic relationship yet (I'm assuming that will start once ML heals physically & mentally), FL & ML have respect for each other & it's nice to see him slowly open up his heart to her. I will say that my favorite part of the story is seeing her build a relationship with his siblings & bring the family together. It's a story worth a read & I really hope that it gets picked up.
Its been a while since ive been into a trail read book and even longer since ive read a nonTransmigration book. “The Crippled Boss Loves me” ended my disappointment, HOPEFULLY if moves on to be selected for further Translation 💖🥰. Best of luck to the author and i hope you contine on with your work. [img=update][img=recommend]
== review as of chapter 40 == Shen Haixing’s estranged father gives Haixing a house and money in exchange for her to marry into the Ji family. Her husband to be is the male lead, Ji Yan, a crippled man. However, Shen Haixing sees this as an opportunity for herself and doesn’t let anyone try to suppress her. Even though Haixing’s has a cold and strict demeanor, she treats her position as Ji Yan’s wife seriously and treats the family with warmth. Although Haixing scares many of the Ji siblings of they easily warm up to her attentive personality - even Ji Yan was quick to fall for her warmth and charms. I think that the novel is well written. Each character that we see so far in the Ji family have their own charms and distinct personality. Haixing’s genuine treatment to the Ji family is heartwarming to read. And on top of that, there’s not much drag, if Haixing wants something done, she will get it done in a good face slapping way. Though I do enjoy this one so far, everything moves too seamlessly that although it’s sweet and fun, there’s just not enough to capture my attention. Shen Haixing is talented in every aspect with the fact that “she grew up in an environment where she was forced to learn many skills.” So every curveball that she’s receiving so far, she easily can catch and get out of it. She’s beautiful in every aspect with her jade like ankles and perfect collarbone dip that everyone envies her even though she grew up in a bad community abroad. Although she is cold, everyone in the Ji family warms up to her within their very first meeting. There just lacks a lot of depth to her even though she’s fun to read about. So far, we don’t have much on Ji Yan. We know he’s was instantly attracted to Haixing and was in a car accident that made him wheelchair bound. Someone is out to get him and even though he’s known as a prodigy in the business world, he couldn’t figure out that he was being schemed against the whole time. Though this novel is centered towards the female lead, I’m assuming we will be seeing our male lead in the near chapters as he tries to recover from the accident. I’ll most likely continue to read this but as our female lead is already so perfect, if there’s not much development on our male lead, I don’t know if I can continue to read the novel. I need a little bit more growth in my characters even if there’s a lack of believability in the world/character setting. I do have to say that the children of the Ji family are my favorite part of the novel. If anything, I’ll continue to look forward to their interactions with Shen Haixing.
I love this! FL has a high EQ and many skills. I haven't seen other skills so far, there's a sentence where she said that she is not that bright, so i assume she is not 99% perfect like high IQ low EQ who can do anything but just lack EQ. she also not an idiot who depends on men and being witty. I like it so far..
