Time to Strike

After a few months, Kai was walking in an alleyway because it was quicker. Then Lefty, Righty, and The Grandfather walk up to him. Kai gets ready to fight.

The Grandfather: I'm not here to fight you Kai. That will be for a later date of your choosing. I know your planning on attacking me soon.

Kai: So?!

The Grandfather: I would like to tell you that I am not afraid of you, and I am not afraid of going to jail. So, I would like to give you my address.

He gives Kai a picture with an address on the back.

The Grandfather: I will have men there to fight you. It won't be a trap though. I am an old fashioned type of man. I like a good ol fair fight.

The Grandfather starts to walk away.

The Grandfather: Oh, and you won't be fighting Lefty and Righty. You already showed that you can beat them. Plus, I have some other business they'll attend to. I will be seeing you soon, Kai.

The Grandfather walks away

Az: So that's really what happened?

Kai just told the rest of his team how he got the address to The Grandfather's base. They all just got together at Az's house because Zuri no longer owns her house.

Kai: Yeah, do you think we can trust it?

They all look to Jaik.

Jaik: Why are you looking at me?

Kai: You're always super serious. I would expect you would have a good opinion on this.

Jaik: He basically told us that there are people there. I guess there is no reason for this to be a trap because he just gave away the trap. We could beat Lefty and Righty again if it really comes to it. I think we should go.

Kai: Well that settles it. We have to go. This will be the last time we ever have to fight The Grandfather. Are you all ready?

Az: I've been ready.

Zuri: The grandfather brought us together. So we should show him what we can really do.

They all nod.

Everyone gets in their gear, and goes to the address. By this time is dark out.

Kai: Window or front door?

Jaik: Window.

Kai: Alright, lets go.

They all sneak up to the window, and quietly open it. They sneak in without a sound, and all the lights turn on. There are four people standing on the other side of the warehouse. There is a skeleton with a purple tux and hat. He is also holding a cane. There is a guy in some black in purple clothing. The clothing looks normal with some gadgets and upgrades. He also has a tech mask on. There is a guy with black and blue armor on a similarly colored hoverboard. Then the last person in the room is a mixed girl with a big afro. She is a pretty girl wearing black and white somewhat revealing clothes. She also has a red katana.

The Skeleton: I should introduce myself, see! I am the one and only JACK SKELLIGTON! You may have heard of me. I have many fans!

Gadget guy: You may call me Marauder.

Hoverboard guy: You may call me The Blue Surfer! Today, the waves I'll be riding will be made of your blood!

The Pretty Black girl: I go by Little Devil. You guys look cute. I would've liked to hang out with you guys before I have to kill you.

She does a kissy face.

Zuri: I want to take her!

Jaik/Az/Kai: Aw, but I wanted her.

Little Devil: I only said hang out.

Zuri looks mad at them, but mostly Jaik.

Kai: I guess I'll take the surfer bro.

Az: I'm taking Marauder.

Jaik: You're leaving me with a skeleton?!

They all run off to go fight their opponents. Jaik starts shooting arrows at Jack. Jack hits them out of the air with his cane, and then twirls his can back into the right position. Jaik goes to pull out another arrow, but Jack pulls out a gun. Jack starts shooting the gun, and Jaik slides to the side. While Jaik is sliding he shoots an arrow. This arrow goes right through a bullet, and splits the bullet in half. Jack jumps to the side to dodge the arrow. Now Jack is close enough to run up to Jaik. Jack puts away his gun, and takes out his knife.. Jaik starts blocking the knife with his bow. Then with the bows extra reach Jaik gets a few wacks in on Jack. Jack quickly puts away his knife, and presses a button on his cane. A blade comes out of the bottom of the cane, and Jack starts trying to stab Jaik with his cane. Jaik rolls to the side, and ends up one one knee. Jaik then shoots an ensnarement arrow at Jack's feet. It wraps around Jack's ankles, and Jack falls over. Jaik uses this time to gain a distance advantage. Jack uses his knife to cut the rope. Then puts his knife away, and gets up. All of a sudden he sees an arrow right in front of him. On impact the arrow explodes. Winning Jaik the fight. While this was going on Az and Marauder were fighting fist to fist. Marauder goes in for a punch, and Az blocks it using the moment to boost his own punch. This hits Marauder in the face. Marauder throws down a smoke bomb, and starts trying to sneak attack Az. Az keeps blocking every punch that is thrown at him. Then Marauder shoots shurikens at Az. Az uses his gauntlet to block the shots. Then a rope comes out of nowhere to try to tangle Az's feet. Az jumps out to dodge it, and Marauder jumps up to punch Az. Az couldn't block it and got hit. Az falls to the ground. A blade comes out of Marauder's gauntlet, and he runs over to finish the job. Az sweeps Marauder's leg, and marauder falls. Az Kicks Marauder in the head knocking him out. Kai is also fighting his opponent at the same time. The Blue Surfer flies around Kai coming in for punches here and there that Kai barely blocks. Then as The Blue Surfer comes in for another hit he stops and makes the bottom of his board point at Kai. he turns up the boosts to max, and it blasts Kai back. Kai used his arms to block it, but his arms still got hurt in the process. Then The Blue Surfer comes in for another punch. Kai tries to hit him first. The Blue Surfer dodges it, and puts his hand on Kai's shoulder to spin around Kai. As he spun around Kai he dropped grenades. Kai quickly picks up one of the grenades and spins jumps. Mid spin jump he threw the grenade at The Blue Surfer. The Surfer dodged this grenade, and Kai still took some splash damage from the bombs that were close to him. Kai gets blasted back again. Then Kai takes a deep breath and calms down. Kai closes his eyes, and uses his senses to tell where The Blue Surfer is. Then as he hears the board Kai tornado kicks The Surfer in the face, off his board. Kai walks up to the guy as he is on the ground, and knocks him out with one punch. The only other person in fighting while the others were Zuri. Zuri was using her telekinesis to throw everything she could at Little Devil. Little Devil was using her sword to cut through all of the rubble pieces that were being thrown at her. All the sudden Zuri couldn't move, and neither could the rubble. Little Devil runs up to Zuri, and Zuri is just able to move as Little Devil tries to slash her. Zuri got a minor damage slice to her side. Zuri is holding her side as Little Devil is giggling. Zuri now throws twice as much a Little Devil as she did before, but this time she stopped Little Devil from moving too. Then as all the rubble was about to hit her she saw Everything stopped, and she couldn't move again. Zuri sees everyone else still fighting, and they can move. Little Devil slashes Zuri on her right side this time. Now Zuri throws a bunch of rubble at her again, but farther away there is a metal bar coming at her. Little Devil slows time, and laughs at how repetitive Zuri is. Then as Little Devil was about to give Zuri a slice to her neck the metal bar slammed into her knocking her out.

Zuri: And you were laughing at me?

Zuri starts healing herself, and everyone else walks over.

Jaik: You okay?

Zuri: Yeah, it's nothing big. A little healing, and they should be fine.

After a few minutes of resting they see stairs on one side of the warehouse. They walk up those stairs to see a room with the same doors as they saw when they were in The Grandfather's other office. Then open the doors, and walk right through. They see The Grandfather sitting at his desk, and a robot is beside him.

The Grandfather: I thought you guys were gonna make it this far. I guess I have to use everything against you. Drone, it's overdrive time.

Drone: You are well aware of the repercussions to overdrive mode, right sir?

The Grandfather: Well aware, activate it.

Grandfather pulls a lever, and the floor The Guardians are standing on opens up, and they fall through. Everyone lands perfectly except Zuri. Jaik had to catch Zuri mid air. Once they hit the ground Jaik put Zuri down. Then they see Drone jump down after them. Drone's voice changes from before. It went from the regular passive droid to a deeper more vicious raspy voice.

Drone: This is your doom.

Kai: I guess this is the final boss.

Az: I think we can take him. It's four on one.

Az runs up to Drone.

Kai: Wait!

Az goes for a punch. Drone grabs his fist, and slams him into the ground. The throws him, and while Az is in the air Drone shoots a laser beam out of his hand at him. The beam makes Az launch even farther. Zuri throws a huge piece of the ground at him, and a gun comes out of each side of his shoulders. Then the guns shoot at the piece of rock destroying it before it even touches him. Jaik shoots three arrows at once at Drone. Drone morphs his hand into a shield, and the arrows bounce off the shield. Kai runs over, and uppercuts Drone. Drone gets launched into the air. Then Drone stops himself mid air using flight. Kai tries to tornado kick Drone before seeing Drone fly. Drone moves out of the way, and Kai falls to the ground. Zuri decides that she needs to finally use all of her power. A purple aura comes around her. She starts shooting energy blasts at Drone. Drone matches that with his own energy blasts. When the blasts collide the dissolve into thin air. Zuri teleports behind Drone and blasts him. Drone gets blasted back, and stops himself with flight again. Then Drone sees three arrows coming at him again. Drone uses his morphin power to make three hands come out of his stomach. The hands catch the arrows, and throw them at Zuri. Zuri stops them with Telekinesis, and they drop. From behind Az Tries to hit Drone with nunchucks, and Drone puts up a shield around him. The shield makes Az get blasted back. Az falls to the ground, and Drone makes his hand huge using morphing. Then he drops that hand on Az. Az dodges, and the hand smashes the ground. Zuri blasts Drone, and Jaik shootis an explosive arrow. Kai jumps up, and tries to do a jump spin front kick. All of their attempts get blasted back by the shield. Kai falls, and rolls when he hits the ground. The energy blasts dissolve, and the arrows fall to the ground. Then Drone flies over to Kai and grabs him by the arm. Drone flies up to the top of the warehouse, and throws Kai into the ground. Then he shoots a bunch of blasts at Kai. Finally he makes his hand even bigger than with Az, and slams his hand onto Kai. Then Kai as a last ditch effort uses his energy to make Drone as weak as he can. It takes off about ten percent of Drones power. Then Zuri uses her telekinesis to stop Drone from moving. They both yell at jaik to shoot an electric arrow. Jaik shoots the arrow. Then Drone had just enough power to make a little hand out of his stomach to catch it. Kai feels too tired to go on, and Zuri's powers are about to give out. Then Az runs up, jumps off the wall, and grabs onto Drones leg. Az then pushes the arrow into the drone, and falls to the ground. Az hits his head, and gets knocked out from the fall. Drone gets electrocuted shutting down his systems. Drone falls to the ground. Then Drones voice changes back to operator mode.

Drone: Restarting systems. 168 hours left before completion.

Kai, Zuri, and Jaik laugh out of pure enjoyment that the battle is over. Then The Grandfather walks down the stairs slow clapping.

The Grandfather: Well done. I did not see you beating Drone, but I guess the boss has to get his hands dirty sometimes.

The Grandfather puts on brass knuckles.

The Grandfather: Who's up for a good round of one on one.

Zuri starts talking to Jaik still heavy breathing from the strain that user her powers just caused her.

Zuri: Jaik, you're the only one that has the strength left to fight.

Jaik checks his quiver, and it's empty. Jaik puts down his bow, and takes off his quiver.

Jaik: You wanted a good ol fight mono e mono?

The Grandfather: Who ever wins this fight. Either shall gain respect.

They both run at each other. Jaik punches first. It hits the grandfather, and somehow the grandfather shows no pain. The Grandfather punches Jaik back right in the face. Jaik grabs The Grandfather by the collar of his shirt, and throws him down. Then he runs up and kicks Grandfather. He tries to kick again, and The Grandfather catches his foot. The Grandfather pulls his foot forward, and jaik falls on his back. They both get back up slowly. They both punch each other in the face again and again. Then The Grandfather grabs Jaik by the shoulders, and pulls him down. Then he knees Jaik in the stomach. Jaik falls to the ground. Jaik sweeps The Grandfather's leg, and the grandfather falls over. Jaik then gets up quick, and starts punching The Grandfather in the face. After a few punches The Grandfather spits out blood, and headbutts Jaik right in his forehead. Jaik sits back up holding his head, and The Grandfather punches Jaik in the face. Jaik falls back, and they both get back up again with heavy breathing. Now they start punching each other almost in rhythm. One after the other. It's almost like they are zombies from the pain. Then after a minute or two of punching the grandfather finally goes down. They're both bloody messes. Jaik then spits out blood before collapsing.

Kai was the first to get up, and grabbed the hand cuffs that Az brought to cuff The Grandfather. Kai goes, and turns The Grandfather in with the evidence that Az had collected. Before Kai left he woke up Zuri, and she said she would heal them. Then she told him to meet them back at Az's house. Kai goes to Az's house with the money. Zuri is still healing Jaik in another room when Kai gets there. Jaik is badly beaten so he is still unconscious. Kai walks ups to Az holding out his 20 grand. Everyone is whispering so Althea can focus, and Jaik can sleep.

Az(Whispering): Keep it.

Kai(Whispering): Why?

Az(Whispering): I have a restaurant, and my second one is opening later this year. I don't need the money, and you deserve a year off. You had to leave for a year just because of grandfather. I don't need it.

Kai walks into the room where Zuri is healing Jaik. This time she isn't on top of him because she has already seen his reaction.

Kai(Whispering): Zuri.

Zuri(Whispering): Yeah?

Kai holds out forty grand, and Zuri takes twenty.

Kai(Whispering): What about the other half?

Zuri(Whispering): Kai, this whole time you have been upset because you're not in our lives more. You thought you were upset because you didn't know what was going on in our lives. You were more upset about the fact that nothing had happened in yours while others were getting married, or living their own lives. We'll just say we got the other twenty from marriage gifts.

Zuri hugs Kai.

Kai(Whispering): How did you know?

Zuri: I'm a woman, and I know emotions. Take the next year off Kai. Bounty hunting is a good way to make money. Just don't get yourself wrapped up in it okay?

Kai: Thank you.

They hug again, and Kai leaves to go chill with Az.

Kai: Did Zuri make you give up your twenty grand, Az?

Az: Oh yeah, there was no convincing her.

They both laugh.
